For November's weekly sketches at Sketches in Thyme PL Style, I've stuck pretty much to the same paper bits to make a set of 4 cards.  They'll all blend nicely onto a "pocket scrapbooking" page/s.  I'm really enjoying these little sketches.

Sketches in Thyme PL style, Frosty Festivities & LDD...........

Inspired by sketch 3 for November at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style,  another card for pocket scrapbooking.   I'm finding these little sketches great inspiration to make some cards ahead of time.

Over at Frosty Festivities blog event 2015 some great inspiration here.  I made a little tag inspired by Jennifer Grace's gorgeous little notebook cover.   The use of the triangles was where I was headed and now I see I've also used 4 shades of green unintentionally which was another challenge to be inspired by.  It must have been lodged in the back of my brain somewhere lol.

Jennifer Grace's Frosty Festivities.........

I've been making some more little cards and a tag inspired by 2015 Frosty Festivities.

This card was inspired by Jennifer Graces snowman earrings to make a paper pieced snowman.

and another one inspired by this gorgeous little sign post.......I've used some tiny red craft sticks for this but unfortunately no matter how much gesso/paint I put on it to colour the white parts, the red kept bleeding through SO I have have a red and pink sign post. (and a messy one at that).

and this tag was inspired by these cute little village candle houses

So I have a set of matching cards/tag for some pocket scrapbooking over Christmas.......

Frosty Festivities 2015 Blog event.........

Playing along with the Frosty Festivities at Jennifer Grace Creates.   Oh what fun.........Just look at this cute little elf.  Well I just had to try one, then 2 then 3 of them.  I don't think mine have turned out quite as cute looking as Jennifer Grace's.  I think one of them looks a bit of a meanie actually.  Anyhoo,  I had a ball making them. I found the first one a little bit fiddly to do (that's the mean one in the middle lol) but once I'd done one, well I just kept on going.

and then it was onto using this gorgeous star template.  I printed it out onto water colour paper.  Two of the stars are from patterned paper with a watercoloured border and the others are water coloured.  This is an 8 x 8 page (another title page for another of the Grandie's Christmas album).  All of the little stamped stars are coloured with kindy glitz although hard to see - it's on the "christmas" and the background as well.

I do love making my own cards for pocket scrapbooking which is what I mainly seem to do these days.  So I've been playing along with Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style who provide weekly sketches to be inspired by.

I've really enjoyed playing with these sketches.......kept pretty much to the sketches for these ones.

Jennifer Grace's Frosty Festivities..........

Playing along with Frosty Festivities 2015 blog event and being inspired by Jennifer Grace's tag ,  I've made a set of cards (4 x 6 and 3 x 4's) for the divided sleeves (pocket scrapbooking) using a division of busy patterned paper and plain.  I'm sure these pre -made cards will come in very handy during the busy season to get some Christmas pages done.

Frosty Festivities .........

Frosty Festivites 2015 Blog Event  has begun.   Inspiration for an opening page for my newest Grand baby's Christmas album came from this challenge and the line of Christmas trees.  Looking forward to  getting into some more of the challenges throughout the month.

November's inspirational art work at ARTastic is super gorgeous and very inspiring.

This is called Weeds and is by Emma Uber -  isn't it beautiful.

Take inspiration from it to create and also use flowers on your work.
