Let's Get Shabby - challenge 45..............

is all about CONFETTI.........use confetti with your project for this month's challenge.
Pop on over here and check out what the other DT girls have created...........gorgeous.  This is my sample for the challenge.

 

 

I cut out 2 cardboard frames, coated one side with some texture paste, placed them face down into a tray of "confetti" (I actually FINALLY emptied my 2hole punch base lol).  Let it all dry and added a top coat of gesso as there were lots of colours in that confetti.  Then I just kept painting and inking until I achieved the look I wanted.

more confetti (punched out little flowers) to sprinkle down the centre of the page.

White with 1...........

White with 1 for April is white + yellow + sketch.   I've turned the sketch once anticlockwise.  This is my kitty kat who turned 9 yesterday.  tfl

ARTastic..............

Playing along with ARTastic in April.   Fabulous inspiration again this month.  This is what I came up with.

I took inspiration from the outer circle to create the border on my page.   The extra criteria was to use the colours on your work.  tfl

123 for April..........

The 123 challenge this month is :  Colour - duck egg blue, Word - today and Technique - white wash.......what a gorgeous combination.

I painted some Kraft with a mix of blues to get a "duck egg blue" (although the pic looks a little brighter here than the original)  then crumpled it up while it was wet then after it had dried, went over parts of it with a whitewash.  The patterned paper in the corner , the pink TODAY paper and the tags also have a wash over them. tfl
