I do and this one is one of my "very" fav's. The second letter for June has been released for the A-Z challenge at Scrap Therapy tonight along with some fabulous showcases from the DT. The silhouette of Pooh is actually a plastic cover from a notebook that I found when I was having a recent declutter and of course it found it's way into my scrapping. Using Tim Holtz distress stains, I've painted a background on Kraft. Guess what colour stain I used for Pooh.....yep wild honey. tfl

Scrap Therapy.........
June is a Mr Squiggle month at Scrap Therapy......it's all about drawing, colouring etc. Pop on over and check out the wonderful showcases along with the challenges posted for the month so far. The first letter for June in the a-z challenge is "G". I had loads of fun with this one creating these little flowers by dabbing with the Tim Holtz distress stains. tfl

My first time..........
playing along with Sketches with a Twist, the twist, this month, being to use fabric. I've popped some gingham in behind the photo in the centre and made some little gingham ties as well. I enjoyed making those little windows, thanks to the great tutorial given. I remembered to fold the circles correctly to get the bunnies sitting the right way in the window but then when I came to my photo I cut it wrong, so I guess that is how my centre piece came about. Still happy with the result and enjoyed playing along with the sketch. tfl

Let's Get Shabby.........
The girls over at LGS never cease to inspire. I love their challenges sooooooooooooo much. I was super excited about challenge 35.......it's all about the old saying for the bride to be - something old, something new, something borrowed & something blue........what a great challenge. This is what I came up with.
The something old - bits of an old doily crocheted by my Mum.
The something new - a new photo of my grand-daughter and some new Prima Fairy Belle goodies.
The something borrowed - I borrowed some of the lyrics from a Cliff Richard's song "Living Doll".
(and that's something old too). I knew as soon as I took this photo that that would be my title and the song (yes I'm that old) just kept going over and over in my head, so that worked in well to be my borrowed item, which I thought at first was going to be the tricky-est part of the challenge.
The something blue - pretty obvious with the seam binding and flower. tfl
