Scrap Therapy...........sketch challenge for

Dec/Jan.  This is my take on Julie's sketch over at Scrap Therapy.  I gave the sketch a twist clockwise and came up with this 8.5 x 11 LO........tfl

I've made a start.........

on my art journal.   It was on my "must do" list for this year so I'm happy that I have made a start already.  I feel like I have been doing this sort of thing (making a mess lol) for awhile but not in the one place iykwim.   I don't know if this journal will have a particular theme....probably not.  I think it will be all pretty random stuff.  There are a few layers under there that didn't quite make it to the surface lol - some music paper and some extra bits of masking tape are hidden under as well.  Anyway, I'd like to think I'm on the right track and if not......does it matter......I had heaps of fun and made a big mess.

Kraft It Up.

The KIU challenge this month is a colour challenge and such a fabulous colour combo it is. 
We were treated to a little concert at our early Christmas celebration.   This song was an extra special singing and signing of "we wish you a merry Christmas".  I took a series of photos (way more than this lol) and couldn't not put this many on the LO - they were all just too cute.

Let's Get Shabby..........challenge 30.

This challenge is all about a list.....you need to use at least 4 from the list provided and it can be a Christmas project or family/religious celebration.  My definite 4 were stars, trees, clocks and ornaments.   I think I have a dove on the tree pp but wasn't too sure if it was a dove lol so didn't risk it.  Pop on over to LGS and check out the gorgeous DT creations.  They are all devine. This is what I came up with for this challenge.   tfl

I'm really enjoying doing the 6x12 LO's lately.  I seem to have a few photos from each event that I want to scrap and I'm finding that doing a 6x12 with the main pic and putting 3 photos in the pockets provided in the protectors works perfectly.  A bit of a change from making the pics smaller and putting them on the one page.  tfl

Scrap Jacked...........

Pop on over to Scrap Jacked and check out January's line up of layouts to be jacked.  The girls have created some gorgeous inspiration.  This is my sample LO.  The background in the photos wasn't so good so I cut out the figure.  Little Miss just had a nappy and singlet on on such a hot day so I decided to give her a denim skirt.  These photos are from  when she was learning to walk.  She'd take a couple of shaky steps then stop and yell "yay" and give herself a clap......then fall over lol.

Well it's here......2012.  I hope this year brings much happiness to you all.  Just thought I would share some of my fave LO's for 2011 with this first one being my most fave for so many reasons.  tfl
