FINALLY!!! 1st FREEBIE of 2019!

Hmmm...I haven't done a very good job so far of handing out holiday themed freebies yet this year already having missed Valentine's Day and Family Day. I tried sooooooo hard to get this one uploaded last night in honour of St. Patrick's Day before heading off the computer but alas it wasn't meant to be.

However, in my defence, I have been fighting two back to back viruses roughly the last five weeks which of course has put me behind in everything again. Just to let you know, I have actually started a love themed paper which I'll post as soon as it is done. Thankfully, love is in fashion all year around too. However, before I get any further behind it is time for a St. Patrick's Day themed paper…or well a belated St. Patrick's Day one.

Wether you are Irish or simply Irish at heart, here is a new St. Patrick's Day themed freebie for you. Thankfully, it also shares some spring colours so it can be useful for any number of springtime projects.

Hope you like it!

This digital paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. Credits include: Rhonda Tonkinson (Eyeinspire) and Elif Sahin, Pixel Scrapper. To grab it, click the download button to be taken to a download location. In the zip folder you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Now it is time for me to get back to work on my newest Christmas mini kit for April's 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.

Hope you all have a great week ahead!

Until next time,

Card Design: Scribbles Designs Freebie Friday Inspiration + Challenge #39 Midway Reminder

Today I have a two in one post for you.  Not only is it Friday and time for some Freebie Friday inspiration over at the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog, but today also marks the midway for our current challenge.

First up here is a refresher on what our challenge is all about...

There are two whole weeks left for you to come on over and enter.   In case you've missed it, the theme this time around for Challenge #39, is A Song in My Heart!  Have you ever had a song stuck in your head? I certainly have. It happens all the time to me. In fact, the 'you've got to have heart' song from the January challenge is STILL rattling around in my poor brain. This challenge we have decided that we would like to see a project based on a song. Whether it is based on the title of the song or some of the lyrics, that is totally up to you. Show us the song in your heart and the melody of your soul! Don't forget to let us know the name of the song that inspired you somewhere in your post. We look forward to singing along with you and getting more songs stuck in our heads.

Entering is super simple!  You do not need to use a Scribbles Designs image; however, if you do, your name gets entered into the draw twice.  You can purchase your Scribbles Designs images HERE or you can also find one for a limited time on the challenge blog HEREAlso, be sure to check out our special Freebie Friday posts as it is another great way to build your Scribbles Designs collection.  You can find the rest of the rules and information regarding winners in the sidebar on the challenge blog.  You have until 9pm PST on April 14th to come over and play with us.

Now talking about Freebie Friday posts...

This time around we're offering up a cute little butterfly (#F1112)--perfect to help start getting us in the mindset of spring for those of us on the northern side of the equator!  You can find the freebie over in my Freebie Friday post by clicking HERE or this image can also be found in the store HERE.

General Info:

  • This card has been created 100% digitally and then layered in a poster mockup (courtesy of Design Bolts).  I will print it out and assemble it a later date.

Card Design: Pattie's Creations Challenge #121... Easter or Springtime ONLY

http://pattiescreationschallenge.blogspot.ca

Hey folks!  I'm here today to announce the next challenge over at Pattie's Creations Design ChallengeThis time around for Challenge #121, the theme is Easter or Springtime ONLY!  Unfortunately it doesn't feel very much like Spring around here--we had another whack of snow dumped on us last weekend and the temps have been rather chilly still!  However, I do believe that I see some buds on the trees so maybe there is a spark of hope that April will bring with it some spring like weather!  As such, I've decided to create a spring themed birthday card for my project this month.  Even though the ground is still covered in snow, I know that we'll be seeing some flowers in the coming months.  For now I'll have to settle for the digital kind!

Here is my card, I hope that I haven't forgotten any important details:

FRONT
Digital Image Details:
  • Bloomin' Bucket:  I've wanted to use this basket of daisies for a while now and this card was the perfect opportunity to do so.  You can find the image in Pattie's Etsy shop by clicking on the name or watermark linked below.
  • This image has been coloured with a combination of hand colouring, digital colouring and the use of patterns.

  • Card, image & sentiment bases:  Michael's Recollection's Cardstock, white.

Digital Paper Products:
  • The paper used as a base on the front and inside is from my Mommy Dearest:  Patterned Papers Kit.

Challenges I am hoping to enter...

You have until May 5th to enter our challenge which should give you lots of time to get a creation done.  Remember the theme is Easter or Springtime ONLY!  I really hope that you will be able to join us. Don't forget that along with all the typical rules that apply to the majority of challenges out there (please click HERE to become familiar with all the rules), you MUST USE A DIGITAL OR STAMPED IMAGE to qualify for the drawing (unless stated otherwise). We would absolutely love to see you use a Pattie's Creations (PC) image on your card, but you are allowed to use other images. If you do use a PC image, you will gain an extra entry in the draw and will have a better chance to WIN! You can enter twice per challenge and of course MUST follow all the challenge requirements that are posted for each challenge. Easy Peasy right!

Pop over to the challenge blog and check out what my fabulous teammates have offered up for inspiration.  Oh and don't forget...Pattie offers up a new freebie the first Friday of the month and it will remain up for approximately two weeks; so, be sure to pop over and check it out as well!

Until next time,
