Card Design: Pattie's Creations Challenge #175…Autumn/Fall

Hello there folks! I hope that each of you is continuing to stay healthy in your own little corner of this world as we continue our battle with Covid-19.

I'm popping in today to announce the next challenge over at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge. This time around for Challenge #175, the theme is Autumn/Fall. It is time to make a creation suitable for the fall season.

General Project Info:

• This card has been created 100% digitally and then layered in a Mock Up (courtesy of Frisk Shop). It will be printed out and assembled prior to dissemination.

FRONT

Digital Image Details: 

• Pumpkin With Vines: This image can be found in Pattie's Etsy shop by clicking on the name.
• This image was digitally coloured in Photoshop.

 

Digital Embellishment Details:

• The ribbon duplicated on the front is courtesy of Rachel Dickson in her Sea Swept Kit available at {Computer} Scrapbook.com.
• The leaves and acorns are freebies that I picked up at Digital Doodling.

• The paper used as a base on the front and inside is one designed by Svitlana Yanyeva (via Design Bundles).

• The base behind the sentiment and the scalloped circle were created from a template designed by Marisa Lerin, Pixel Scrapper. It has been paper pieced with a paper from Jeannie Baechtold from her Autumn Leaves Kit also available at {Computer} Scrapbook.com.
• I have applied shadow layer styles to give certain elements some depth. These styles were designed by Sheila Reid, Pixel Scrapper.

Happy Thanksgiving Canada!

Hello everyone! I am popping in today to wish all of my fellow Canadians a very happy Thanksgiving! I hope that you've all had a wonderful weekend surrounded by family and friends. I created a free paper in celebration of this great holiday.

This digital paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. This paper will be part of a future set called, Fall Into Fall. I've used resources from Catharina77 (via Pixabay), Redfield Plugins, KrystalDesignsCo (via Inky Deals), Creative Tacos and The CoffeeShop Blog. Full credits in the file. In the zip folder you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the full credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.Given that it is midnight, I hope I haven't made any errors. :)

Card Design: Pattie's Creations Challenge #139…Shades of Fall

Hey folks! I'm here today to announce the next challenge over at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge. This time around for Challenge #139, the theme is Shades of Fall. Autumn is officially here and it is time to showcase all the wonderful colours of the season. Reds, golds, oranges and greens abound in nature around us and this challenge we want to see some of these same colours of the season on your project!
 
Here is my card, I hope that I haven't forgotten any important details:

General Info:

• This card has been created 100% digitally and then layered in a Mock Up (courtesy of Frisk Shop). I will print it out and assemble it a later date. 

FRONT

 

Digital Image Details:

• Pumpkin With Vines: This is such a great image for the fall season. You can find the image in Pattie's Etsy shop by clicking on the name or watermark linked below.
• This image was coloured completely digitally using Photoshop Elements.

INSIDE

Digital Image Details:

• Pumpkin With Vines: I repeated the image on the inside using it as a mask that was paper pieced with the same texture as the inside panel on the front (more details below).

OVERALL
Digital Sentiment Details:

• Both the sentiment used on the front and the one on the inside are from Paulette from Create with TLC. These sentiments were recoloured to match the colours in this particular project.

 Digital Paper Details:

• I have used one of my own papers. It is my Pumpkins paper from the future A Bountiful Harvest Kit. You can find it on my blog for FREE by clicking HERE.

• The paper used as a panel in the middle of the front and as a texture for the mask on the inside was created using a basic shape and one of the standard patterns available in Photoshop Elements. I believe it was the weave pattern in the Patterns 2 selection. For some reason when I went to check it wouldn't let me know the name of it. Sadly, my copy of Elements on my main computer has been acting up a bit since the last major update of Windows 10. 

Digital Embellishment Details:

• I have applied shadow layer styles to give certain elements some depth. These styles were designed by Elif Sahin, Pixel Scrapper.

Card Design: Gerda Steiner Designs Progressive Challenge...October

Hello there! It is time to get my progressive card for the Gerda Steiner Designs Progressive Challenge uploaded. Check out the adorable hedgehog  image that we got to work with this month...

I've never seen a real live hedgehog before but I bet they are as cute as this one. Though they probably don't wear scarves. ;)

Card Design: Scribbles Designs Challenge #46...Fabulous Fall

Hello and a very happy Saturday to you all. Today marks the start of the newest challenge over at the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog. While, I'm running rather late in the day, at least it is still the same day for this particular post.

This time around, for Challenge #46, the theme is Fabulous Fall! Here in many parts of North America and in other locations throughout the world, fall is officially upon us. This is such a fabulous time of year. First, not only are we able to enjoy the splendour of autumn with fun activities such as: jumping in piles of leaves, picking apples in the local orchard then making home-made cider and pies, going for walks in the woods to see the beautiful colours of the leaves as they change, picking pine cones and attending harvest fests; there is also the wonder and fun of Hallowe'en to explore: making home-made costumes, bobbing for apples, costume pageants, parties and more. Additionally, while Thanksgiving has just passed for those of us in Canada, it has yet to hit in the US. With all these wonderful events taking place, the fall provides a bounty of ideas to choose from. So, for this challenge create a project that focuses on one or more of the many aspects of fall. Allow the beauty of the season to shine through in your creation. Whether you decide to create a Thanksgiving card, a Hallowe'en one, or just a card celebrating the splendour of the season, we leaf it up to you!

In order to participate in our challenges you DO NOT NEED TO USE A SCRIBBLES DESIGNS IMAGE on your project but you must follow the monthly theme and the other rules that have been established for our particular challenge blog. Free Leaves Digi Paper available at Scribbles Designs

Hello my friends!  I'm just popping in to let you know that the latest freebie is available over on the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog for all of our Freebie Fridayer fans!

Yesterday it officially became Fall here in the northern hemisphere and to celebrate this beautiful and colourful season's arrival, I have made you a digi paper using a trio of leaves that Sandy offered up as a freebie back in October of 2014. Card Design: Gerda Steiner Designs Progressive Challenge...October

 

With under three hours to go before the link up expires, it is time to get my final progressive card for the month posted. Nothing like leaving it to the last possible minute!  This means I can mark one more thing off my crazy weekend 'to do' list and only have five more to go!  This time up it is for the Gerda Steiner Designs Progressive Challenge. 

If you have never been to Gerda's before, NOW is the absolute best time to go and check her designs out.  When I went over earlier today to grab the watermark and link to this month's image, I ended up finding the freebie motherload!  I picked up 11 ADORABLE FREEBIES!  And, if I am not mistaken, there were two other free images listed as well, just ones I already own.  It is hard to say how long they will be there so be sure to go and visit as soon as you can!  Simply click HERE to head to the digital stamp section of the store and you'll see a list of all the images.  The freebies are mixed within.  Be sure to leave Gerda LOTS of ♥♥♥LOVE♥♥♥ if you end up picking up some of the freebies.
