Freebie: A Day to Remember

Hello friends. Once again, November 11th has rolled around. A day that we should never forget!

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in the year 1918, the battlefields drew quiet as the hostilities ceased. Thus bringing an end to World War I, 102 years ago today.

Each of us living in Commonwealth countries around the world, should take a moment today to remember and honour those who have bravely fought in ALL wars to help keep the peace and keep us safe.

Each year I try to honour this day in my own small way with something special. Here is a digital paper I created for anyone interested. I get that it isn't as versatile as some papers but I came across these incredible medals and thought it would be a great paper for anyone who knows someone in the military and also something different for the future We Remember Kit that I am working on.

This digital paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. I've used resources from Alexander Lesnitsky (aka AlLes via Pixabay), Shadowhouse Creations and The Coffee Shop Blog. Full credits in the file. To grab it, click the download button to be taken to a download location. In the zip folder you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the full credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

A Time to Remember...

Good evening on this very special day.  I'm sorry I'm so late in posting.  I was hoping to get this done yesterday and posted early this morning but a trip to the dentist made it impossible.  Thankfully at least, it is still November 11th.

Exactly 96 years ago today, at 11:00 am, hostilities came to a close on the battlefields overseas, bringing an end to World War I.  Each of us living in Commonwealth countries around the world, should take a moment today to remember and honour those who have bravely fought in ALL wars to help keep the peace and keep us safe.

In my own small way of bringing honour to this day, I have created a digital paper for anyone interested.

This digital paper is in 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 ppi. To grab it, click the download button to be taken to a download location.  In the zip folder you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

May We Never Forget!

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in the year 1918, the battlefields drew quiet as the hostilities ceased bringing an end to World War I.  Today, those of us living in Commonwealth countries around the world, stand by to honour those who have bravely fought in all wars to help keep the peace and keep us safe.

In my own small way of bringing honour to this day, I have created three digital papers for all of you.

Each of these papers is 3600 x 3600 pixels (i.e. 12 inches) and is published at 300 dpi. Credit information for the templates used to create these papers can be found in the credit note below. If you are a card maker you can always resize them smaller without distorting the quality.
