Wonderful Wednesdays (on a Thursday)--Offering for October

If you are new to my blog and want to know how this concept got started, you can find the original post by clicking HERE

Ummmmm....oops.  I KNEW there was something else that I should have done yesterday.  Oh well, it may not be Wednesday anymore but at least it is still October.

If you are new to my blog in the past year, you can find other items for the October kit by clicking on the respective links below:

October 2013

  • The word October offered up as a word art creation, using different fonts and Hallowee'en themed layer styles. Click HERE.
  • Four different digital papers offered up in both 12 in. and 6 in.  Click HERE.
  • Three different frames.  Click HERE.
  • Three different Hallowe'en themed word art creations, and a bonus date stamp (actually there is three, see below for more info on this).  Click HERE.

For 2015, I am offering up another digital paper for the October kit with the theme: Frightfully Delightful...

https://app.box.com/s/3991ufzq89ina8idaeox9o2esbycde08

I tried to make the info banner as small as possible so that you get a good idea of what the paper looks like.  I found this awesome action and overlay over on The Coffee Shop Blog early this week and knew that I wanted to use it for this month's paper.  It really makes a difference from the original piece of work.  This paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels and in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. Credits include:  William Ehrendreich and Ben Kerckx (Pixabay.com); Jerry Jones from Shadow House Creations; and Rita from the fabulous The Coffee Shop Blog.  To grab today's offering, click the download button to be taken to a download location.  In the zip folder you will find a copy of the papers, the preview sheet, the full credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Finally, you can find your bonus stamp for October below.  Well, I managed to find the round date stamps that I
couldn't seem to locate for Aug. and Sept.  They were on the last post of October's offering.  Silly me.  You can just left click on this one to bring it up in the lightbox and then right click to save it in its original size.

Stay tuned for a new Wonderful Wednesday post coming next month, hopefully back on a Wednesday!

Until next time,

Wonderful Wednesdays: Winsome Words for October

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.
Hey Guys!  It is time for the final items for the October kit.  Continuing with our Frightfully Delightful theme, I present you some Winsome Words...

If they look familiar it is because you've seen two of them on recent cards that I have done and the third is from a mini kit I put together for a sneak peek guess win over on Creative Bug on the Loose.  If you aren't following me over there on Saturdays, you are missing out on your opportunity to win even more goodies but I digress...

All three of these word art creations are in png format and while the original size of each is quite large in order to accommodate scrapbookers, you can always re-size the images smaller without distorting the quality.

I hope you like my final offerings for this month's kit and can find some use for them.  If you have missed the previous ones, or if you are new to the site, you can go HERE, HERE and HERE to grab the other items. To find items from previous kits look for Wonderful Wednesdays or look under the individual names of the month, i.e. January Kit in the label section.  If you create a project using one of these images or any of the images I create, I'd love to see them and post them into the 'Your Gallery' portion of the blog.

Next month brings with it a whole new theme but you'll have to wait and see what I have planned.  It has taken me over two weeks to finally settle on a theme so hopefully you'll like what I've come up with!

Until next time,

Bonus: If you've actually made it to the end of this post I have a little bonus item for the October kit.  It is a date stamp in a purple shade that should complement other offerings in the October kit.

HOWEVER, I have been rather neglectful and have realized that I never created the bonus date stamps for the past two months!  Oy vey!  I can understand forgetting in August because I was pretty ill but I have no excuse for September.  So let me offer those two up first for you...

AUGUST
In a peach shade to complement the items in the August kit...
SEPTEMBER
This one is even worse because apparently I had already made it and just forgot to upload it.  In a golden brown shade to complement the items in the September kit...
OCTOBER
Finally, here is the one for this month's kit...

Wonderful Wednesdays: Fantastic Frames for October

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.

Hello my dears.  As you can see, I'm running seriously late AGAIN.  At the rate I'm behind, I may just have to give up on sleep altogether.  Now I thought I had much more time before I had to be downstairs as my hubs is at night school but he came home early and now I need to get moving.   So, without further ado I present some Fantastic Frames for the October Kit--Frightfully Delightful.

All the frames are in png format and they are all rather large to accommodate scrapbooking.  You can always reduce the size without distorting them.  Now unfortunately the edges in the third one didn't turn out as smoothly as I had hoped.  I think that if you used it against a light coloured paper it shouldn't look too bad.  Please see below for additional credit information.

Thanks for all your feedback last week regarding whether some of you would prefer 6 inch papers along with the 12 inch.  The consensus seems to be that people are quite comfortable resizing the larger papers so I'll just continue to offer the 12 inch ones.  I appreciate you taking the time first of all to say thank you but also for answering questions when they pop up as it helps me to serve you better.

I think that is everything for this particular post.  There is one more week of offerings left for the October kit but it won't be next week, it will be the following one as I have something else special planned for next Wednesday.

Until later,

Wonderful Wednesdays: Paper Play for October

Okay so just imagine it is still Wednesday.  Unfortunately everything didn't go smoothly and I wasn't able to get the papers or post done in the wee hours of the morning.  I was still working on it at 4:30 am and had to give up because I figured I was still a couple hours away from completion.  The reality was that I was almost four hours away from completion.  However, I am FINALLY done and can only hope that it was worth the wait.

Today I bring you Paper Play for the October kit, Frightfully Delightful.  Hopefully there will be something here that catches your fancy.  There are a total of four different papers.  This week I am also offering you a 6 inch by 6 inch version for anyone who is a card maker.  Now I know that some people are quite capable of resizing the image smaller or cropping it to suit their card making purposes but I figured I'd offer the two different sizes for at least this week.  I would like your feedback though, for anyone who downloads my papers.  Would you like me to continue to offer the six inch versions in future posts or are you comfortable resizing the 12 inch one yourself?  Your feedback will determine what I do in the future.

Okay so how about we get on with the show.  To better view the images, left click on them to bring them up in the lightbox...

So, if they went in properly, the top image of the pair SHOULD be the 3600 x 3600 pixels (i.e. 12 inches) and the bottom should be 1800 x 1800 pixels (i.e. 6 inches).  Just in case there is a boo-boo with the ordering, when you go to save it, the smaller one will have '_6in' at the end of the name.  Credit information for the bat used to create the first paper and the pre-existing image used for part of the bottom creation can be found in the credit note below.

Stay tuned for another Wonderful Wednesday offering real soon as there is still more to come for this month's kit.

Until next time,

Wonderful Wednesdays: Lovely Lettering for October

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.

Hello my lovely peeps.  I'm running rather late today.  Not feeling so hot but completely unrelated to that virus I had been battling almost six weeks or so.  I think I have finally got it out of my system. Woo hoo! Over the last couple days, my voice has been squeaking through more and more and yesterday, I'd only lose it, if I tried to string together four or five sentences.  So, thanks for all your well wishes and concern.

Now it is time to unveil the latest kit for October.  I've had the toughest time figuring out the route for this one but I think I finally settled on...

Frightfully Delightful

That way I cover my bases with being able to include a range of ideas that run from sweet to a little bit more scary.  Since these kits are designed so that each year you will be able to add to them, they definitely have to be a bit broader in nature.

As always, how about we start off with the name of the month...

I've come a long way from the first time I offered the names of the month in a flat lettering, haven't I?  It is fun looking back and seeing my development as a digital creator over the last 10 months.  Of course, these images are much smaller here than when you download them.  If they are too big you can always make them smaller.  Each is published at 300 dpi.

As I mentioned when I started, I am running late, it is now after nine and I have to finish cooking supper so while I don't have time to add the credit notation for fonts and styles, I will add it to this post when I come back on line later tonight.  Sorry about the delay. (EDIT:  This info has now been added below.)

Until later,
