Hello peeps.  I actually managed to pull off getting this done. I honestly wasn't sure I would manage.

If you are new to my blog in the past year, you can find other items for the July kit by clicking on the respective links below:

July 2013

  • A word art creation that says 'under the stars'.  Click HERE.
  • A ribbon with stars on it, offered in three different colour combos, plus bonus date stamp.  Click HERE.

I decided to create a stars paper for this year's portion to the kit.  Check it out...

EDIT:  Download button is active again.  Not sure what happened.  I double checked it before publishing it but the link disappeared.  Must be gremlins again.

This digital paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. I've used resources from Pixel Scrapper and HG Graphic Designs. To grab it, click the download button to be taken to a download location.  In the zip folder you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the full credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Finally, you can find your bonus stamp for July below.  You can just left click on this one to bring it up in the lightbox and then right click to save it in its original size which is approx. 3600 x 192 pixels (12 inches x .64 inches).

Stay tuned for a new Wonderful Wednesday post coming next month!

I might see you a bit later.  I'm going to try and get another DT post finished.

Until then,

Wonderful Wednesdays: Radical Ribbons

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.

Oh my, it is 8:30 pm, I still haven't been downstairs to start supper yet AND I FORGOT to get my Wonderful Wednesday post ready.  Therefore, this will be quick and dirty--but not too dirty, this is a G rated blog after all.

Okay for the last item of the month I offer up some Radical Ribbons.

Each ribbon is approximately 13 in. long by 1 in high so they are suitable for scrapping.  The size can also be reduced for cards and other projects.  To see the detail better, make sure you click on them to pull them up in the lightbox.  This is also where you should save them.  They are in png format.

Hope you like my final offerings for this month's kit and can find some use for them.  If you have missed the previous ones, or if you are new to the site, you can go HERE and HERE to grab the other items. To find items from previous kits look for Wonderful Wednesdays or look under the individual names of the month, i.e. January Kit in the label section.  If you create a project using one of these images or any of the images I create, I'd love to see them and post them into the 'Your Gallery' portion of the blog.

Next month brings with it a whole new theme so stay tuned.

Until next time,

Wonderful Wednesdays: Winsome Words for July

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.

This week I'm offering up some Winsome Words for your scrapping pleasure.  I don't know about you, but I have always been a stargazer.  What secrets does the night sky above hold and will be ever find them all out?  Since I can't be up in the sky with them, I'll just have to settle for being...

This image in its full size is 1164 x 1164 pixels and in png format.

Man oh man, it is hot here.  The humidex is up over 43 degrees celsius and since I have extreme difficulty breathing once it gets up to 34, let's say I'm going to be doing all my stargazing from inside the house this week.  It is extremely rare for it to get quite this humid.  23 years ago when we first moved up here, we rarely had any days of humidity; this week alone, we've had three days in the low to mid 40's with no break scheduled 'til Saturday.  Thank goodness we have two window air conditioners in our home.  While they may not be powerful enough to actually cool the house down under 26 degrees for our main floor and 32 upstairs, it still allows me to function and more importantly breath by at least taking the humidity out of the air.  Sadly, on these nights it is difficult to see the night sky at all.  Thankfully, I know all those beautiful stars will still be there once the sky clears and the temperatures are more reasonable.

Your July kit should now have a total of three items in it.  If you have missed the previous two, or if you are new to the site, you can go HERE to grab the other items.

Just one more item to go in the July kitHowever as to what it is exactly, you'll just have to come back next week and see.

Until next time,

Wonderful Wednesdays: Lovely Lettering and Paper Play for July

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.

I'm afraid that I've been battling Internet issues again and have basically lost another half week to the problem.  Therefore, I won't be back on track with my usual offerings as soon as I had hoped.  However, I am hopeful that the issue has finally been resolved.  Only time will tell of course.

At least the connection has come back in time for me to offer you this week's sampling for the start of the July kit albeit a little later in the day than normal.  Mind you, it is still Wednesday where I live and that is what is important--well that and still remaining hopeful through all these little inconveniences.  With your continued support and understanding, I know I'll get through it and with a smile on my face too boot!

So, let's get started with the July kit shall we? The theme for this month's kit is:

STAR STRUCK

Like always, I am going to start out with word art for the month's name.

Gosh that golden yellow one really looks awful against the orange doesn't it?  Something else I need to add to my 'to do' list--a blog makeover.  However I am digressing...each word is exactly the same size and much larger then they appear here.  You can always reduce the size without distorting.  Make sure you remember to click on them to pull them up into the lightbox before saving to get them at their correct size.  Choose the colour you want or all four if you can't decide.  It is totally up to you.

Next, it is time for some paper play...

I coloured up this really cool star chart template in Photoshop Essentials 5.  I've done it in a couple different colour variations.  There is a texture to the bottom layer which you will probably see better if you bring them up in the lightbox.

Each paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels and in jpg format.

As always, I'd love to see what you come up with if you use anything I create on any of your projects.  Stay tuned for another Wonderful Wednesday offering real soon as there is still more to come for this month's kit.

Until next time,
