Wonderful Wednesdays--Offerings for February

If you are new to my blog and want to know how this concept got started, you can find the original post by clicking HERE.

Hello peeps.  As it turns out, I didn't get my IT project posted yesterday.  Unfortunately, I just ran out of time so I'll be posting it later in the week instead.  Along with doing some behind the scenes work for the challenge blogs I own or co-coordinate, I also needed to get some stuff done for my design teams and also wanted to make sure that I got something ready in time for this month's Wonderful Wednesday offering.

Thankfully, I've managed to pull something together for this last Wednesday of the month to offer up for the February kit.  If you are new to my blog in the past year, you can find other items for the February kit by clicking on the respective links below:

2013

  • Wordart:  Click HERE.
  • Pink heats paper:  Click HERE.
  • Swirly hearts background:  Click HERE.
  • Love/heart journaling cards in three colours + bonus circular stamp:  Click HERE.
Please note that the quality of my creations offered up in the beginning months of 2013 may not be up to standard as I was just starting out in design.

2014

  • Ornate lock paper, key paper and a heart ribbon in two colours:  Click HERE.

And that is where last year's offerings end I'm afraid.  I had intentions to do another post in Feb. but it just never happened, then I just became even busier and overwhelmed and that was the end of that.  Hopefully trying to only do it monthly this year, I'll fair better.

Now I never did give a name to the February Kit, so how about we call it 'Love Truly'.  Here are a set of four 'Beautiful Brads' you can add to your February kit...
https://app.box.com/s/jssycmoexxnv963sq9g7hlzhlfa4tyyx

These digital brads are 214 x 214 pixels (a little under 3/4 in squared), in png format and published at 300 ppi.  This time around I've offered them up in gold.  Hopefully, in future February offerings, I'll add silver, bronze and other metals to give you a variety of selections to work with.  Credits:  I have used resources from Pixel Scrapper and Me Oh My Graphics (full credit info in file).  To grab these brads, click the download button to be taken to a download location.  In the zip folder you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Now since I offered up a bonus date stamp in January of last year, I figured I'd continue so that you have this particular date stamp for the rest of the months as well.  You have 12 circular ones (if you collected each month in 2013), so it would be odd to have just one horizontal one for January.  You can just left click on this one to bring it up in the lightbox and then right click to save it in its original size which is 3600 x 192 pixels (12 inches x .64 inches).   Sorry that the colour clashes with the orange background.  One of these days, I plan to change my blog jacket but first I need to find the perfect background and find some time to do so.  It will look better when you bring it up into the lightbox.

Stay tuned for a new Wonderful Wednesday post coming your way soon!

Until next time,

Wonderful Wednesdays--WELL Almost!

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.

OH MY GOODNESS!  Do you ever have days where you feel like your trudging up hill going backwards with lead weights on your feet?  Well, I seem to be having a month of that.  I swear I had finally seen the top of the mountain of work looming over me but I just seem to be slipping in deeper and deeper.  I had even been a couple days ahead with my cards and now, for the last three, I've been up until the wee hours of the morning trying to get them done the night before.  We won't even get into how far behind I am with the Wonderful Wednesdays post this month.   Case in point, it is now early Thursday morning.  I thought that the papers I am presenting tonight were going to be relatively quick, i.e. done within an hour.  Four and 1/2 hours later I am finally done them.  It is bad enough I've missed the first two weeks and somehow need to cram four weeks of items into two.  So, even though it is now Thursday I was determined to get this out before heading to bed.

So last year, you got a heart paper for your Feb kit, pink on pink which you can find HERE if you are new.  I also gave you some heart papers last week for Valentine's day so I'm doing something a bit different.  In the first one, I found this really awesome ornate lock graphic over at The Graphics Fairy.  I also got a beautiful vintage key from Karen's blog as well, which I have added to the second paper. The lock is from 1876 and the key is very old as well which puts them in the public domain it is believed, according to the terms on the website.  If anyone has any reason to believe otherwise, please let me know.

Since I'm already a week behind here are some radical ribbons to make up for it.

As usual, the papers are 3600 x 3600 pixels (i.e. 12 inches) and are published at 300 dpi.  The ribbons are about 13 in long and are also published at 300 dpi.  Credit information can be found in the credit note below.

Stay tuned for another Wonderful Wednesday offering real soon as there is still more to come for this month's kit.  It is just hard to say whether it will be on a Wednesday or not.

Until next time,

Wonderful Wednesdays: Jazzy Journalling Card for February

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.

Here is the final entry for the February Kit.  We finish the kit up with a Jazzy Journaling Card.  I created it in Photoshop Essentials using a template.  Each one is 1202 x 1202 pixels but can always be made smaller.  I'm providing it in three different colours that will coordinate with the other items currently meant for the February kit.  Choose one or all three, it is up to you. Here you go...

Now, Jazzy Journaling Card isn't quite a true alliteration but I just couldn't find the right combination of words to create one.  So, if anyone out there can come up with one that I prefer, I promise there is a freebie in it for you.

Your February kit should now have a total of four items in it.  If you have missed one, or if you are new to the site, you can go HERE for the first item, HERE for the second and HERE for the third.  If you are new and would like items from the January kit, just click on 'Wonderful Wednesdays' in the label section on the right sidebar (scroll down) of this blog to find them.  Remember next month brings with it a new theme.

Hope you like my final offering for this month's kit and can find some use for it.  If you create a project using one of these images or any of the images I create, I'd love to see them and post them into the 'Your Gallery' portion of the blog.

Until next time,

Wonderful Wednesdays: Marvelous Masks for February

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.

Here is the next entry into the February Kit.  It is time for a marvelous mask and this one is so unique in its shaping.  I created it in Photoshop Essentials using a template.  It is 3600 x 3600 pixels but can always be made smaller if you want to pair it with some paper.  I've opted to go with a blue pink combination.  That way it can be used with the paper I provided last week but can also be matched up with other colour choices. Here you go...

Now you have three items for your February kit.  I'd love to see what you come up with if you use it.  Next week we'll be continuing on with the theme of love, however as to what it is exactly, you'll just have to come back next week and see

Until next time,

Wonderful Wednesday: Paper Play for February

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.

The Digital Design Diva (a.k.a. my inspiration fairy) has been influence by all the love she is seeing around her.  Hearts here, hearts there, hearts everywhere!  Especially with it being the day before Valentine's Day.  So, you guessed it, with hearts on the brain, this weeks she I am offering up a traditional Valentine's themed paper for the February Kit.

It is 3600 x 3600 pixels (really it is the correct size for a change) and in jpg format.  I created it in Photoshop Essentials (yeah me!) using a template.  I've chosen softer colours this time at the request of a follower. Here you go...

Now you have two items for your February kit.  I'd love to see what you come up with if you use it.  What is up for next week?  Well, I'm not telling so you'll just have to come back and see for yourself

Until next time,

Note: I apologize if there are any formatting issues.  This is a scheduled post and we all know Blogger has a mind of it's own.  If it turns out that something looks wonky, I'll fix it as soon as I'm able to.
