Blogiversary Bash Extravaganza!

Hello and welcome to our Blogiversary Bash Extravaganza brought to you by the team of Scribbles Designs.

Congratulations, because if you are here now, you have made it to the final clue release in the treaure hunt we have had, spread across this past nine days.  It is part of the celebration counting down to the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog's very first blogiversary. 

If this is the first you are hearing of our treasure hunt, then please go HERE and start from the beginning to ensure that you understand how to play along and get all the clues you will need to participate.

Clue #9

1. Go to the Scribbles Designs Store:  http://buyscribblesdesigns.blogspot.ca/
2. In the labels section which you will find on the right hand of the page in the sidebar, click on Chicklet.
3. Scroll down until you see image #501.
4. Write down the name of this image.
5. Now, what is the fifth letter in the first word of the name?  Take that letter and write it down.  This is your ninth and final clue.

To help you find the image you are looking for, here is a sneak peek of a project that I have created for our next challenge.  The full project will be shown on our actual blogiversary, tomorrow on January 15th.

All of your blanks should now be filled in.  The first letter was given to you in the original post and if you have been participating these last nine days, you will have had opportunities to figure out the remaining eight letters.  When you think that you've figured out what the word is, send an email to scribblesdesigns_winclaims {at} outlook {dot} com (or by clicking HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with your guess. Please use the subject heading, "SD: Blogiversary Bash Extravaganza Treasure Hunt Guess".

Don't forget that everyone who gets the word correct will have a chance to win three images of their choice from the store.  The winner will be chosen randomly from among all correctly answered entries.  Additionally, everyone who participates by submitting a guess AND leaving a comment on every single blog participating in the Treasure Hunt, will receive a specially selected digital image from the store.  It will be mailed to each participant after we have verified that comments were left on each blog.  Please note that if your email address and your blogging identity do not match up, it is important that you let us know in the  email you send us with your guess, what your blogging identity is.  For example, if your blogging identity is The Purple Lady and your email address is p_pope@anywhere.com, there are no identifying clues to help me know whether you indeed left a comment.

Fresh Brewed Designs Holiday Hoopla Treasure Hunt

• Click on Digital Stamps (left), scroll down and click on Winter / Christmas / New Year from the choices provided.
• Click to enter the Jesus is the Reason section.
• What is the name of the image in the first column, first row down? 
• What is the sixth letter in this image's name?  Take that letter and write it down.  This is your sixth of nine letters.

 Paper Products:  

• Card base: Michael's Recollection's Cardstock, white.
• Recollection's Mosaic Memories Paper Pad. 
• The brown paper that I embossed is Crafts Brand Cardstock purchased at Dollarama.
• The night sky was paper pieced in using a paper from Far, Far, Hill.

Digital Credits:

• The cradle was coloured using a wood pattern from freepsdfiles.net.
• The ground is texture from Texturemate.
• The star was adapted using layer styles from Shelby Kate Schmitz of graphicssoft.about.com.

Embellishments:

• The tiny half pearls used on the front of the card are Crafts brand from Dollarama.

Embossing Folder:

• I used a Cricut, Paper Lace II embossing folder.  Once again, thanks to the generosity of someone out there, I am able to create amazing texture for this card.

I can't believe that this is the last paper for the treasure hunt. It has been a blast and while only a handful of people have participated, that handful really had fun so it was definitely worth it.  Today, I'm doing things a bit differently.  In order to earn the final paper in the Living on the Edge paper collection, you have a question to answer.

Hello!  I'm glad to see that a handful of you are enjoying the treasure hunt.  However, today I am making things a bit harder for you.  Bwahahahaha <mischievous laugh>.  

You are going to have to do some extra work to earn the seventh paper in the Living on the Edge paper collection.

Remember the first day, when I showed you a snippet of the card?  I'm including it here again for reference.

This shot gives you a pretty good snippet of one of the images I used in my card, from Fresh Brewed Designs.

What is the name of this image (hint: go to the Fresh Brewed Designs Store.  Click on Digital Stamps in the menu on the top left side.  On the right you will now be presented with a list of categories to choose from.  Click Girly Things. To save a step or two click HERE to get to that point.  However, that is as far as the hints go.  You now will have seven categories to further choose from.  If you look at the image carefully, and the category choices, it should be easy to narrow it down to the right one very quickly).

Success Deserves Celebration

On August the 10th I will be showing you a very special card during my regular Fresh Brewed Designs monthly post.  Here is a sneak peek of what that card looks like.

What makes this card so special?  Well, I'll tell you.

I'VE MADE MY VERY FIRST CARD SALE!

Who better to share that success with than all the people who have been supporting me throughout this adventure.  I just couldn't wait to share my news!

So in celebration I am having a treasure hunt and it starts right here!

I am giving away a total of 10 different papers from a series I call Living on the Edge.  The very first one is yours just for showing up and reading this post.

This one is called Living on the Edge--Azuline.  All the papers are 3600 x 3600, 300 dpi, in jpg format.  To get your hands on the entire set just follow the directions I will be setting forth over the course of the next nine days.  Each task will take no more than a couple minutes each.  That is roughly 18 minutes over the course of nine days to get your hands on 10 different FREE papers!  I will keep the treasure hunt open until the card reveal which means that you will have the opportunity to earn each paper in the set up until August 10th.  And, for anyone who participates in every single quest, there will be a bonus paper for you.
