If you don't speak Japanese you probably don't know what Kawai means, but this Hermes bag is a perfect example of kawai or "cute". This mini Kelly clutch is 22 cm of natural barenia Niloticus crocodile. Although it was purchased in 2006, the bag is unused. This Hermes gold 25 cm Swift Leather Kelly has never been used. Brand new and in the box from 2006 (J Stamp) with gold hardware. It's as if you bought it from Hermes, where the bag retails for around $4850. You will pay around the same price for it at Decades, but who knows where you can find this particular bag at Hermes these days following Christmas. Plus, if you don't live in the State of California, we can ship it out of state or out of the country and save you tax (around $400).

SEXY AND SUEDE BY HERMES

Hermes is Hermes is Hermes. How much do we love thee? Well, here is something a bit unusual from Hermes: a chestnut hued two-tone suede Kelly from 1993 that's a very practical 32 cm. Suede is hardly ubiquitous which is one of the things we love about this bag. The fact that the body of the bag is one shade of chestnut and the handle, strap, and closure are a complimentary tonal shade makes the bag even more desirable.

We know how many of you are always ga-ga for a Birkin, but remember the Kelly. It's really a necessary addition to any savvy Decades' client's arsenal of handbags, along with just about every other style of Kelly bag...oh and a few cool Chanel, Morabito, and Leiber bags, of course!

DOES A BLACK HERMES KELLY IN ALLIGATOR NEED A DESCRIPTION?

NOTE: Alligator and Croco are increasingly difficult to purchase at Hermes, so this one is extremely special. Hermes prices are going up in 2008, too. The exchange rate is dismal between the dollar and the euro...expect the prices of pre-owned bags to soar also in January 2008.

THE ROYALE "OUI!"

Here is a sublime royal blue Porosus Crocodile 28 cm Hermes Kelly with gold hard ware from 2005. The original owner tells us she carried it twice. She did not keep the box and removed the plastic from the hardware, but it has its sleeper bag and rain cover. Missing a box, you will save around $2000 from current Hermes retail for this bag. Hermes does not use this color anymore, so it's extra special. And it's crocodile and the best type of croco Hermes uses, too. We have photographed the bag without a flash in somewhat natural light. The color is gorgeous....well it is called Royale Blue, n'est ce pas?
