Bernard Perris was famous for his dramatic creations in fine luxurious fabrics and the high voltage details. Trained in Haute Couture, Perris opened his boutique in 1985. After a break in fashion business in the seventies  especially with the "hippy look" which bothered him, now out and a return to more glamour, Perris continued to create clothes focusing on strong lines, color and continued his devotion to luxury. This silk red dress with an exposed back and asymmetrical exaggerated lapel is as chic as it is sexy. The perfect red dress to make an impression.

Bernard Perris Grows a Tulip

From Bernard Perris of Paris, a beautifully constructed tulip skirt dress made of black organza. The left hand side of the skirt curls up into a shell pattern, that is attached to the side of horizontal cummerbund of the same material. Above the waistband sprout a bi-fold bustier top, which gathers in the back at the zipper. This is a very severe look that has been softened by the material and construction utilized. This is the perfect little black dress, very light and airy! Some gold jewelery and this dress are the perfect outfit for an end of the season gala.
