original seeder's notes:
--
One of the greatest bands of all time (well i think so)
caught in their early days this set is made up of stuff
from the classic "Pink Flag" album
and what would've been their current LP "Chairs Missing".
A note of interest is the track "The Other Window"
which would be released on the 3rd more experimental "154" LP
but here it's played in a more fast quirky early Wire style.
A pretty good recording, could be soundboard but I'm not 100% sure
but hey it's Wire from 78 that's what matters right kids?

The Story of Hansa Studios 1976-1990 - Documentary (MP4)

Thanks to Steveboy for sharing on the BowieStation. Broadcast on Sky Arts Jan 2018

MP4 - Quality excellent.
Downloaded from a link given by Nmert on the Bowie Station Forum

1976-90. New. The story of the legendary Hansa studios in Berlin, which used to overlook the Wall and has hosted many well-known acts including David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Depeche Mod, Nick Cave and Brian Eno, to name but a few, great live version of Lust for Life with Tony Sales on Bass and Gaz Coombes I believe on vocals.

No Artwork. Please help.

The legendary "Ö3 Musicbox" was an austrian radio progam till 1994,
the "FM4 Spielzimmer" was following in 1995, broadcasting excellent live shows.

From 1987 I taped most of the shows on a VHS HiFi Video Recorder.
Starting from 2002 I recorded via FM capture card direct to HD.
So I have ca. 200 shows in very good Fm - quality.

Enjoy it,
Stuffus

Notes:
BBC 6 music broadcasts on Digital Terrestrial, Digital Satellite and DAB.
This is a direct capture of the Digital Terrestrial Broadcast at 160 kbps.

There's a bit of a wobble at about 1:20 into Clay - no dropped frames were reported and it is also
present on the version on the BBC website as well so was clearly on the broadcast.

Broadcast in two segments, tracks 1-5 then tracks 6-8 and torrented as separate mp2 files.

Track 9 broadcast on Gideon Coe later in the evening.
