Madness - Los Angeles Palace, Hollywood, USA - 27.02.1984 (Flac)

Excellent recording. Thanks to the original uploader.

Original Info File:

Lineage:
Mixing Desk>Cassettex2>Audition (rip + tidy up)>CDwave editor>FLAC

This is not a well circulated boot as far as I can tell... It's been sitting around in various boxes in for the best part of the 29 years since I acquired it in a trade with the Camden bootleggers I knew. As a bit of rudie in my teens, Madness were my fave band. This gig took place a couple of months after Mike Barson left the band, and soon after the release of the Keep Moving album. They replaced him for a while with Paul Carrack for a few gigs in the USA; he was most famous at the time for being in Squeeze.

On this tape it turns out I also recorded the audio of their last appearance on The Tube TV programme, result!

Anyway, this is a great gig from the mixing desk. The only downer is a fatal tape flip that misses out most of Night Boat to Cairo... gutted... But anyway... ENJOY!!!
