Converted this original VCD to DVD,
(The Throne of Agony got some errors)

VCD setlist wasn't correct, DVD setlist is

Rough sound and video quality.
Recorded with a fix installed camcorder by Digital Isolation.

Though the video is not the best one, it's a relativly unique
setlist (probably some tracks from the encore are missing).

This show is recorded during the second european tour that year,
where lead guitarist William Tucker was missing because he was
in hospital, so Thirlwell was forced to do setlist and performing
in a very rough way.

Manorexia (JG Thirwell) - Kampnagel KMH, Hamburg, Germany - 27.04.2013 (Flac)

Excellent audience recording, Thanks to the taper for sharing his recording on DIME.

Original Info File:

Church Audio CA 14 Cardioids > Sony RH1 (PCM-mode) > Hi-MD > Sonic Stage > wav > Audacity (level adjustments, trackmarking, a little leveller for close clapping) > TLH > flac level 8

recorded 8 meters from stage, slightly to the right

J.G. Thirlwell - composition, sampler, keyboard
Tim Parkinson - piano, keyboard
Angharad Davies - violin
Rachel Steadman - violin
Nozomi Cohen - viola
Jessica Cox - cello
Adam Morris - drums, percussion, xylophone

JG Thirwell (a.k.a. Foetus, Steroid Maximus and other incarnations) is one of the most taciturn musicians I've ever seen on stage. Not a word. Not during the performance (a modern string quartett augmented by xylophone, piano, percussion, drums and various samples, Thirwell's active contribution on stage), not afterwards, just a couple of stage bows.

The small Kampnagel KMH venue was nicely filled but not too much, the audience quiet, creating very good recording conditions, very litte audience chatter, a few bottle noises from the bar.

Recording levels were fine except for some of the loud drum parts (tr 04 min 7, 11 and 12 - 14) when I had exceeding levels on the right channel, but only by the drums and high hat, so it didn't really result in any distortion and rather then replace it by the left channel I left it as it is. Lowered the recording levels slightly afterwards, and corrected that (+ 1,5 dB tr 05 onwards).

I cannot offer a setlist, maybe somebody who owns the records can help.

Foetus, etc; and Roli Mosimann (ex-Swans) at the Cat Club in

Lydia Lunch / Wiseblood - unknown venue, USA, Jan-Feb 87 (DVD)

This video is mystery, when Egg_Crisis bought it had an incomplete venue
and date information, and after a long time trying to find out that info,
it's still inconclusive. On the info file there'a a long list of  the tour
wiseblood did with the info that was gathered, if you know more about this
recording, please post a comment.

That being said, it's the best audience video I've seen from wiseblood,
so big thanks to Egg_Crisis for sharing it here

Setlist

[03]. The Fudge Punch
[04]. Someone Drowned In My Pool
[05]. O-O (Where Evil Dwells)

vocals - JG Thirlwell aka Clint Ruin
keyboard/samples - Roli Mosimann

Lydia Lunch provides a short intro (7:38) to this performance.
Video shot by someone in the audience with a camcorder.
They're right at the front and get a good view.  The video flicks into
b&w occasionally, caused by the generation but the strobe lighting
probably doesn't help.

Foetus - Royal Festival Hall, London, UK - 19.09.2000 (Flac)

Excellent sound. Huge Thanks to Survivor69 for sharing his master on DIME.

Lineage (audience > 32khz DAT > CDRW > wav > flacs > web):

--source: Sony ECM-717 stereo microphone [unpowered] > plug-in power microphone-in > Sony TCD-D8 portable DAT recorder (at LP/32khz) > my DAT master on Sony PDP95 tape

--transfer: DAT master > Tascam DA20mk2 DAT deck > coaxial digital cable > my own digital copy on fnac Audio CDRW on HHB CDR830 standalone professional CDR recorder > optical cable > Sony PCM-D50 linear PCM recorder > 44.100khz/16bit wav on Sony Memory Stick ProDuo [mark2] > usb > Audacity 1.3.5 Beta (track splitting and slight editing) > 44.100khz/16bit flac's (level 8) > webtorrenting

this is on the same league of Ministry or Nine Inch Nails, but with a punkish DIY attitude, comes from a special co-headlined night with Coil (who actually were first on), and support Nectarine#9. Neither my best recording (but, yes, the sound was confused, not my fault on that, you can can hear people asking for a louder volume) nor the best show I went to. A couple of other songs were included in the setlist, but not actually played (No Disgrace and DI-1-9026).

According to  http://foetus.org  line-up for this tour was: J.G. Thirlwell, Brian Emrich (bass), Vinny Signorelli (drums), Christian Gibbs (guitar) and Jim Coleman (keyboards and samples).

The Sound Of Progress - Pop Music according to Foetus, Coil, Current 93 & Test Dept (Video)

Excellent documentary, even if the image/sound quality sometimes is not so good. Thanks to the original uploaders and to S+©kmªÑ for sharing it here.

A Dutch documentary (around '88) originally aired on Dutch television, as well as shown at the 1988 Rotterdam International Film Festival, with Interviews with J.G. Thirlwell, John Ballance, David Tibet and the guys from Test Dept and parts of live performances of the bands. In case of Foetus the featured tracks are: "Anything", "DI-1-9026" and "Boxhead" from the tour '86.

Time: 39:50

The movie is in english with dutch subtitles.

It is rough quality at the beginning, and at times throughout.

Many thanks to DLJ for the conversion from videotape.

Pigface - St Petersburg, FL - 17.11.1991 (DVD)

Thanks to cEnda for sending me the links to this one and to the original uploaders.

From wikipedia:

Pigface was formed from Ministry's The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste tour,
which produced the In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up live album and video. For the tour, Al Jourgensen brought Atkins, Nivek Ogre and Chris Connelly. Also on the tour was Rieflin, regular Ministry drummer at the time. While Atkins enjoyed the dynamic of playing with a second drummer, he felt that the lineup was capable of doing much more than being, what he has frequently called, "a Ministry cover band." Once the tour was over, Atkins and Rieflin decided to continue working together and recruited several of their tourmates from The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste tour. Pigface was born with the intention of keeping a revolving-door style collaboration with many experimentally-minded musicians, many of whom, especially early on, had recorded for the influential industrial music record label Wax Trax!.

I ripped this directly from a VHS tape. No idea on the VHS' lineage, but it looks like your typical sub-professional video boot from the mid to late 90s. The camera's onstage with the band, so some of the angles are nice.  Unfortunately the cameraman wanders a lot and gets some really poor angles as well.  Foetus opened and joined the band on stage for Hips Tits Lips Power.  Someone requested this one ages ago, so hopefully it was worth the wait.
