Alice Cooper - Seattle, USA - xx.xx.1971 (Flac)

Good sounding Soundboard recording. thanks to the original uploader.

Original Info File.

A Panda Production for dime

1.  Sun Arise
2.  Caught in a Dream
3.  I'm 18
4.  Is It My Body (ending 'wind that's blowing' only--song itself released officially)
5.  Second Coming
6.  Ballad of Dwight Frye
7.  Black Jojo

I've done a lot of remastering here.  Hope you like it.
Re-Balanced the channels, brand new EQ, and some very slight hiss reduction.

This will never be a stunning sounding show, but it's the only sb show of the LITD tour, which makes it a must have.
It took a bit of work, but I'm pretty happy with it.

Alice Cooper - Wendler Arena, Saginaw, MI, USA - 10.05.1978 (Flac)

Thanks to exene for sharing this one on TTD.

King Biscuit Flower Hour radio pFM cd > eac > wav > flac

Some vintage Alice Cooper, in excellent sound quality.  Horrible dj babbling over the intros/outros, so I added fades where needed.

Not a remaster, this is a straight transfer.

Was not sure of the date, but the cue sheet that came with the disc matches this date:

No lineage that would be particularily helpful. This comes from a cassette that I bought back in the mid-eighties.
So here's the best I can do:
FM>unknown cassette recorder>unknown generation normal bias cassette>transfer to hd with TEAC R-425 MKII and 16 bit recorder>edit SoundForge 4>flac encode level 7>you

My recording ran a bit slow so I adjusted the pitch about a half a semi-tone. I used the For Britian Only EP to measure correct pitch so it should be pretty accurate.
Not a bad recording, some hiss due to my original tape being on a normal bias tape.
Sorry I couldn't include WDYTWA, MC and UMW but rules are rules. I listed those tracks in case you have them already or ever track them down so you can put them in the right order.
This show was made available on 2 commercial boots as far as I know. One is a record called "No More Mr. Nice Guy" that had most of the show but excludes Model Citizen the other was a cd of the same name but it used only a portion of the show and a few songs were edited down as well. This cassette is from niether the record or cd.

I'm a fan of the Special Forces era and like this show quite a bit, even if Alice's voice isn't in top form. Would be nice if a pre-FM surfaces some day.

Enjoy and please share freely,

RE-UPLOAD: Alice Cooper - Special Forces In Paris (DVD ProShot)

This one seems a little bit off topic onthe blog, but in a way it makes sense, since Alice's 70's recordings left a mark in most of the 80's artists usually featured here, some of them even made covers of his songs. Consider it a guilty pleasure. Thanks to І©kmªÑ for sharing it here.

Alice Cooper a Paris (more commonly known as Alice in Paris) is a French television special
starring shock-rocker Alice Cooper.

A series of music videos of songs from his then-current album Special Forces with a few songs
from Flush the Fashion and some older hits mixed in, several songs were re-recorded for the special
(Only Women Bleed, I'm Eighteen, Billion Dollar Babies, School's Out) and have shown up as B-sides of singles with crowd noises mixed in to give the illusion that they were live recordings.

The songs are performed in English, but one brief split-screen sketch features French dialogue as radio disc jockey Vincent Furnier (Cooper's real name) interviews Alice.
