Broadcast on Dutch "free to air" FM radio (VPRO) in 1982
Recorded by Frans to cassette, digitised by Frans

A very rare (but probably incomplete) FM Radio recording of Manchester's finest post-punk/funksters, A Certain Ratio.
Recorded during a short Benelux tour at Paard van Troje in Den Haag, the recording does show it's age with a little low freq background noise in places, some interference (probably from the radio) and a little distortion during Knife Slits Water. There is also some evidence of pauses during some tracks (talk over edited out?).

All in all (& this comes from a serious collector of ACR shows), this is a gem! Thank you, Frans!!

I received this in a trade about 10 years ago. This is ACR mainly playing the To Each material several months ahead off that album's release. This is great stufff from my favouraite Factory band - enjoy.

Found this recently in my cassette archive which I thought was very listenable and worthy of a fresh transfer and upload.
Great, punchy performance of ACR at their peak in my opinion, just a pity its pretty short...  I'm sure you'll enjoy all thesame given the sever lack of interesting old alternative stuff on this board of late ;¬)
