NOTE
 * those tracks comes from a previous torrent by mahood on DaD 2006.
because my version of 'Ella Megalast' had a skip around 2'12 &'Pink Orange Red' was cut when it was broadcasted because it was the end of the transmission.
(by the way i don't know how Mahood got his complete version as this concert haven't been broadcasted since).

Aikea-Guinea + Sugar Hiccup have been played at a later date.

Mahood lineage

RE-UPLOAD: 23 Envelope - Documentary - 1985 (DVD)

The Music Channel documentary from 1985 on 4AD Records in-house design firm, 23 Envelope. Run by designer Vaughn Oliver and photographer Nigel Grierson, they were responsible for the "Look" of classic 4AD bands like Dead Can Dance, the Pixies, This Mortal Coil, etc.

This film features Vaughn and Nigel interviewed in the 4AD offices, along with interviews from Ivo Watts-Russel, Robin Guthrie, and more. Along with plenty of video footage from 1980s era 4AD bands.

Received in tape trade with French trader, cassette has AU1 written on label, the trader
in question escapes me but he is well known, I recognise the hand writing on the inlay card.

The recording is very clear and with a reverential crowd unlike some of the other 1994 gigs
where there is talking and in one particular case a girl that screams as soon as she hears
the first few bars of a song that she likes.

The tape does have a few signs of wear and tear, there are a few drop outs throughout the
recording, these are on the tape.

Music For Misfits: The Story of Indie - Episode 2 - "The Alternative 80s" (MKV)

Thanks to dfb0308 for posting this excellent rip in TTD.

Broadcast on BBC4 HD, 9th October 2015

"The story of British indie over three musically diverse episodes. Much more than a genre of music, it is a spirit, an attitude and an ethos.

Episode 2 explores a time when the independent labels transformed from cottage industries into real businesses that could compete with the majors. It examines the evolution of 'indie' - a guitar-based genre of music with its own sound, fashion and culture. Independent record labels provided a platform for some of Britain's most groundbreaking artists at this time, including the Jesus and Mary Chain and the Smiths, who would burst onto the scene in 1983 staging a mainstream intervention and starting a small revolution.
...
The programme concludes in the late 80s with the Madchester scene, as alternative music crossed over into the mainstream chart. This breakthrough was inspired by a merging of indie rock and the burgeoning acid house culture, and it was led by a new crop of bands such as the Stone Roses and Happy Mondays."

Notes
A DVD collection of every Cocteau Twins promotional video plus some bonus features, all in a very high-quality, menu-driven format. Only 1,000 of these DVD's were pressed with a glass master. Each disc has a full-colour insert and full-colour on-disc printing. The original copies of this disc are all numbered individually. There are already 'bootlegs' of this original 'bootleg' available on the market that do not meet the high standards of the original. Fake copies are easily identified by their lack of unique on-disc printed artwork as well as the fact that they are not individually numbered. Because 4AD never released a Cocteau Twins video themselves, and have procrastinated about it for many years, they were angered by the creation of this DVD. They even sent a cease and desist letter to its Producers and Distributors in an attempt to stop its world-wide circulation. So, although 1,000 copies of this limited edition DVD were pressed, they were not all circulated, further increasing its demand. This DVD (an original) is now highly sought-after by fans and has become one of the most desired item for fans and collectors alike. Be weary of copies for sale on sites like ebay because the majority of the time they are not true originals, and the poor-quality duplicates fail in comparison.

RE-UPLOAD: Cocteau Twins - Corn Exchange, Cambridge, UK - 15.02.1994 (DVD)

Nice audience DVD. Thanks to the original uploader and to cEnda for the links.

Original Info File:

This is a transfer from a VHS that Plymwhite bought in a record fair a goodly while back. The venue is presumably the Corn Exchange in Cambridge, and the vid was filmed by a hand-held from the balcony. On the one hand, it's pretty damn rare and difficult to get hold of. On the other hand, it's pretty damn blurry to watch - in other hands, typical hand-held audience recording. I'd rate the audio as an 8/10, but the video only 7/10. I'll drop three screenshots in so you can decide for yourself.

Chapters and menus added as part of the conversion.
