Sneaky Peek #6

Sneaky Peek #6
Under The Stars

This summer I discovered camping. Well, rediscovered, actually. I was a Girl Scout for a number of years, and our troop would go on yearly camping trips. I remember setting up tents and cooking over campfires. Roasting marshmallows for S'Mores over the campfire. And yes, the burnt ones were the best. When it was time to go to sleep, we sat in our tents and told ghost stories and talked about boys, and school, and things you talk about when you are young.

"Under The Stars" celebrates that time when we were young. And, now, when we are not so much. "Under The Stars" is part of our August Release. And it's available on August 27 along with the other stamps and CutUps dies we've been Sneaky Peeking this week.

Now on to the cards.

Leigh O'Brien is back with this awesome scrappy card. She stamps the image on kraft paper and colors for a terrific, rustic look. The Chevron die gives peeks of the pretty paper behind.

Nancy Thomas stamps up a wonderfully, happy card. She uses the "Framed Up" CutUps for the oval and the panel the penguins are stamped on. It's the perfect pairing.

Noelle McAdams "color blocks" this card with patterned paper and our Cloud Border CutUps to separate the blocks. The clouds are a wonderful place to stamp the sentiments, don't you think?

At Your Service

I don't know about you, but I love sets that are versatile. I love being able to take one set and create several different looks. So, when I designed "At Your Service", I had versatility in mind. "At Your Service" has 12 separate stamps that you can mix and match.

Featuring a sweet, tray carrying bear, you can use this stamp set for birthday, just for you and get well cards.  "At Your Service" is part of our August Release. And it's available on August 27 along with the other stamps and CutUps dies we've been Sneaky Peeking this week.

Now on to the cards.

Nancy Thomas uses"At Your Service" with "Framed Up" to create this terrific get well card for all ages. This set is one you will reach for again and again. It's a fun set to color. You can do as little or as much. It's really up to you

Wendy McGaffey uses "At Your Service" with our Luggage Tag, Window and Flower Buttons CutUps. The bear is so cute, just dropping in with a bowl of soup to wish you well.

Here is a super sweet card by Chris Veneruso. The doilies and her paper choices give a wonderful homey touch.

Fly High

Growing up, it seemed like everything was about space. We watched the space walk in our classrooms and "Lost in Space" and "Star Trek" on TV. Space even affected what we ate. Remember, Tang?

Now, we celebrate space with our Long-Eared Bunny in an out of this world stamp set, "Fly High" and  "Fly High" is part of our August Release available on August 27.

Now on to the cards.

Wendy McGaffey creates this awesome card using the stamp set and the "Bitty Banners" CutUps. I love that the card is like a porthole that we are looking out of.

This card by Chris Veneruso has me flying high. Can you see the "Chevron" CutUps behind? Brilliant!

Leigh O'Brien uses the "Bitty Banners" to adorn her card. And the ticket shape she stamped the sentiment on is from "Framed Up". Just so cute!

Sneaky Peek #3
One Cupcake

It may come as no surprise to you that I love cupcakes! When I was a girl, my school would have cupcake sales and you could buy cupcakes for 25 cents each. We would delight in how pretty they were. Pink with sprinkles, chocolate swirls with jimmies.  Of course, the real treat was biting into a freshly baked cupcake. And, because our mothers made them, we knew they were made with love.

Our Long-Eared Bunny also loves cupcakes. And, because you stamp him up, any card you make with him is stamped with love. "One Cupcake" is part of our August Release available on August 27.

Now on to the cards.

Swanky Stamper, Kelli Hull creates this lovely flip it card. Simple, and elegant!

Here's the inside.

Lori Tecler shows off her coloring on this yummy card. It's the perfect image to color or paper piece.

And, Chris Veneruso pulls it all together in this card. LOVE the plaid bunny. Who says that bunnies have to be solid? NOBODY!

Sneaky Peek #2
Sassy Birthday

Those of you who know Susan Liles will not be surprised when I tell you that she once asked me for a Sassy Sentiment set. Susan is one sassy gal. So inspired by her, I decided that sassiness is where it's at, and what better time to be sassy? On a birthday, of course.

So "Sassy Birthday" was born! And, I couldn't stop there. I had to design a CutUps Die to go with. Like all our stamps and dies, you don't have to buy both to make either work, it's just like having frosting on the cake, as it were. "Sassy Birthday" is part of our August Release available on August 27. The "Sassy Birthday" Clearly Swanky Set, has some pretty sassy sayings and pretty graphics to go with. And, it's the perfect set to do a little chalkboard technique.

Now on to the cards and you'll see what I mean.

Check out this card by Wendy McGaffey! She uses "Sassy Birthday" with "Framed Up" and an old favorite "3 x 3 Stars" It's the perfect "man" card or one for an officemate.

This card by Kimberly Gajewski uses the same set and dies and the "Bitty Banners" CutUps. And, the bit of pink adds just the right girly touch. Stunning.

Chris Veneruso uses "Sassy Birthday" and the "Framed Up" CutUps for a classic but fun look. What I love about this set is that there is NO coloring. Or, you can use the sentiments with other stamps. I think this set will become a classic.

For more looks at this sassy set click on over to Noelle's, and Nancy's blogs. I know you will be happy you did.

Sneaky Peek #7
Lock and Heart Background

It's Day Seven of Sneaky Peek Week! This set and our CutUps and everything you've seen this week will be available TOMORROW.

I am so happy to introduce our first background stamp! Not only can you use it for backgrounds, but to create patterns on blocks of paper for layering and stamp over pretty papers. It has a pretty top and bottom so you can stamp just those for a wonderfully simple and elegant look.

This stamp has that "distressed" look that looks so great with distressed inks and those wonderful background papers you've created using ink and paint. And to make this stamp REALLY special, we've brought it to you in CLING rubber so that you can apply paints to it. And, even press it into hot embossing powder. The heat will not affect it.

Lori Tecler showed this card using the Heart & Lock Background earlier on her blog with the Key To My Heart CutUps. I thought it showed the stamp off to perfection, so I saved it for today. I love this stamp in green.

Nancy Thomas pairs this stamp with the Key Phrases Stamp Set, and the Heart Swirl CutUps, embossing the stamp in silver. Just stunning and elegant.

And for a completely different look, Noelle McAdams not only stamps up the background with the stamp, but the paper used to paper piece the Sock Monkey. That's a whole lot of fun!

Sneaky Peek #5
Words of Love

It's Day Five of Sneaky Peek Week! Just TWO more days of Sneaky Peeks and then the release. This set and our CutUps and everything you've seen this week will be available on March 26.

Since we put out our sentiment set, Simply Said, I must get a request for more sentiment sets at least once a week. And, since Subway art and the Chalkboard look is so hot these days, that I just had to do a set that embraced all of these things. ('Cause here at The Cat's PJs we are all about versatility). This set contains pretty words and phrases that can be stacked or stamped any which way—including by themselves.

Lori Tecler shows her take on this set with the sentiment stamped á la chalkboard style. Paired with our New Heart Swirl, it's a simply stunning combo.

If you are into the Collage and Subway Look, Noelle McAdams stamps words and phrases sideways and stacksand fills in with the flourishes that also come in the set. Such fun to stamp. And such a sophisticated look, made easy.

Julie Masse always stamps up such pretty cards. And this card is no exception. Her chic color scheme really shows off this set to perfection. And, the Heart Swirl is a CutUps die that will soon be a classic.

Sneaky Peek #4
Tied Up

It's Day Four of Sneaky Peek Week! It's hard to believe that release day is almost here. This set and our CutUps and everything you've seen this week will be available on March 26.

Today, I thought we'd bring you this funny bear. He is such a cutie. He has ME all tied up in knots. He's the perfect stamp for cards that say you were "Tied Up". Not only is he great to color, but to paper piece, as well.

Whatever you do with him, he is sure to be the center of attention. Like this pretty card by Jen del Muro. She sure does a beautiful card using this stamp set and our New Heart Swirl CutUps. Layered over our Heart Rosette, this little bear just wants to be loved.

Tracy Falco ties one on with this card. Just the Bear, some pretty ribbon and heart pin embellishments and you have a card. So simple, but it says so much.

No one would stay mad at you for long with this fabulous card by Nancy Thomas. Colored up so pretty, or with no color at all, this Bear has me wrapped around his little paw.

Here is the inside of Nancy's card, using our Circus Panels for the sentiment. Just lovely.

Sneaky Peek #3

Sneaky Peek #3
Sock It To Me

It's the third day of Sneaky Peek Week and I thought I'd shake up the week by introducing a brand new character to The Cat's Pajamas line up. This cheeky little sock monkey. I've been wanting to do a sock monkey forever, and here he is just dancing into your life. This set and our CutUps and everything you've seen this week will be available on March 26.

He's the perfect size to do a bit of monkeying around with different techniques, like this copic technique Jen del Muro does. I love this pairing stripes with this silly guy! But, even bars can't hold in his excitement.

Susan Liles has a lot of fun with this set, mixing it with another new CutUps, our Heart Swirl. AND she's added his sweet friend that also comes in the set.

Nancy Thomas does a bit of traditional coloring with her monkey, but there is nothing traditional about this card. Something about sock monkeys that are so joyful and fun, and you can't help but have fun with this set.
