It's the sockhead hat by Kelly McClure of Boho knits. I used sock yarn from Malabrigos in Aguas.
The hat kept growing during the week.
Until I was finally doing the decreases. I thought I wouldn't make it though. Until right before we left for Boston,
I finished it! And at my sister's, I added a poor little pom pom, my first try at one.
So it was done and ready to be in the boy child's hat collection.
I also managed Fussy Cut Star number 3 on Friday.
Still not pleased with my fussy cutting, but whatever.
While still at home, the boy child went from this.
To this, thanks to one of his good friends, who gave him a haircut.
I do wish the child would get a haircut more often than twice a year. lol! Takes too much effort to get used to the extremes.
So we had to drop the boy child off in Boston at his new apartment on Sunday. He starts the new semester of college on Tuesday and is settling in nicely. It gets a bit easier each time we drop him off, but I still hate it. And of course, we miss him.
Mia does too. She misses his clothes too.
Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi. Hope everyone in the US has a good MLK Day. It's good to remember Reverend Dr. King. Have a great week!
