So I've finished my Palindrome (reversible cable) scarf. It's quite cool.
I used Woolfolk Far in color number 10. It's such a soft yarn, very squishy! I used 4 skeins to make the scarf, with a tiny bit left over.
Here are a few pics from our birthday celebration for the boy child last Sunday. We went into the city so we could see the girl child, who is always so busy these days.
But then, the very next day, this happened.
Back to school one more time.
I hope everyone who celebrates Easter has/had a good and joyous day. Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi. Have a great week!

Knitting and famiy
I'm afraid there's nothing much to show. Except for a finish. Yay! My Ondawa is finished!
This is Ondawa by Michele Wang. I used Brooklyn Tweed Shelter in Barn Owl. A fun knit!
Here is my pile of sweaters that I've knitted from mid October to today. From bottom to top, I have Stopover, Rowe, and Ondawa.
I've started a scarf, the Palindrome scarf. it has reversible cables, which I've always been curious about. I'm using Woolfolk Far in color number 10. So soft! I've always wanted a long, skinny scarf. We'll see if I last and don't get bored.
I don't even remember what has happened since my last blog post. I know we've gone into the city at least once. And managed to see the girl child. (And go to a bookstore.)
Um. Yeah, I did a bit more than just look. At both the bookstore and the yarn store. (The yarn is Malabrigo lace, can't remember the color name.)
And then, this past Sunday, our boy child came home for spring break. Yay!
Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi. Let's hope they are wrong about this nor-easter! Have a great weekend! (Happy St. Patrick's Day!)

And drool over yarns at Downtown Yarns. (Father type was being mischievous, as you can see.)
