Somewhat of an odd combination? Not really...they're just what I happened to use for today's Sketch Challenge on SCS *wink*
I needed a "guy" birthday card for a friend today. I just love this little cowboy from Inky Antics.
It's colored with Copics. For his chaps I used the blender pen and dotted it around to remove the color and give them some texture.
The hay bale was repeatedly stamped then airbrushed. The "leather looking" strip? That's a piece of an old belt I ran through the Cuttlebug!
I "dirtied" everything up by sponging Frayed Burlap distress ink around the edges.
stamps:inky antics ink:tuxedo black-tsukineko, frayed burlap-ranger paper:gp white, prism kraft/nautical blue med other:copics, abs, foam dimensionals, cuttlebug/ef, martha stewart fence punch, sakura white gel pen

This next card is a new Winter rubber stamp image from Janlynn. It's colored with Copics, masked and sponged with distress ink that was left on my dauber from a previous card... and Mudd Puddles Snow sand added under the snowman.
The sentiment is also a Stamps Happen image from Janlynn...I only inked up the the top portion of the greeting for this card, then used my white gel pen to highlight the word.
