Rose Button

DD had a Latin assignment due about the gladiator games. You had to pick a side (PRO or CON) and design a poster, button, t-shirt, etc. I wanted to be PRO gladiator games but she found more information against the games. We designed a button with a line from the movie Gladiator. Her stance was it would be better for the community to be a farmer and provide products than be a gladiator and die in the games.

I used the Indie Art Cricut cartridge for the center rose and applied Silver Stickles to the blackout layer and silver glitter to the top layer. The leaves are from the Giant Flowers Cricut cartridge.
I used pop dots for dimension under the rose and made 2 layers of leaves with the top layer scored down the middle and slightly curled on the sides.
The rolled flowers are from Quilled Creations Blooming Roses die set. I added Smooch Spritz to them for a shimmery look to them with a Recollections pearl in the center.
The back of the button has Nicole jewelry findings 1 1/2 inch pin back adhered to it so it can be worn like a real button.
Thanks for looking.
