Another day of New Release at Whimsy Stamps! And today I just had to share Apple Allie from Elisabeth Bell collection. I swoon over her images don't you?

I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then inked the edges with Ranger's Tea Dye ink to age it up a bit. I found some papers from My Mind's Eye Pretty Things collection. I sewed down layers with Core'dinations dark red card stock as a base. Love to sand that card stock and match it up to vintage feeling papers. Such fun sentiments with this large collection of stamps.

She is colored with my Copics (colors below) to match up to the pretty purple pattern papers (say that really fast ten times!) from Dovecraft Papermania Lucy Cromwell collection. I sewed down each layer after shadowing a few with the edges darken with a copic. I then added two layers of ribbons, in purple of course. Three mulberry roses with Martha Steward frond punch leaves on the corner. Then I added a few dots of Viva Decor Pearl Pen dots for some added prettyness. Whimsy Stamps - February Release - Honey Little Spring Helper

Howdy -

Day three of the February New Release for Whimsy Stamps! Today I am sharing "Honey Little Spring Helper" by Elisabeth Bell's Little Cottage Cuties Collection.  Don't you just swoon over Elisabeth Bell images?

I colored with Copics (colors below) And matched up with papers from Bo Bunny's Li' Miss Collection. I sewed down the pattern papers on to inked cream card stock, and light green card stock. I took one of the striped pattern papers and created a border with the Double Scallop Die also from Whimsy. I love this border die it is so versatile. Then the Whimsy Vine Die Set for something for thos mulberry roses to grown on. And then one more Whimsy Die "hello"  My tip for the day is don't stress when your papers or embellishments don't match up with your papers. My Hello sentiment and those roses... they were cream colored to start off. I used one of my Copics and colored them to match! Makes your supplies go so much farther!

Inside the card more of the same papers -

You won't find me at those Black Friday Sales today though, crowds, pushing, shoving and long lines not fun to me... my idea of a perfect day after Thanksgiving is some good movies and some crafting time! LOL Ok, first out to breakfast with some friends... then old movies and crafting!

Today I have "Little Leora" to share with you -

I adore Elizabeth Bell's Little Cottage Cuties - I colored Leora with my Copics (colors below) and then added some yellow stickles for the candle light. I found some pretty papers from My Minds Eye and matted each piece with some dark brown card stock. Every layer is sewed down. A wide satin ribbon around the middle with a bow and then four large square rhinestones that are a matching brown colors. Simple card but she is so pretty she doesn't need much! LOL

Close up of Leora and she sparkling candle light.

Whimsy Stamps - Holiday Holly Giving

Howdy -

I adore Elizabeth Bell images don't you? Well guess what... there are some great new holiday images at Whimsy for you to play with! The Little Cottage Cuties Collection from Elizabeth Bell are always fun.

This is "Holiday Holly Giving

She is beautiful isn't she? I colored her with my Copics (colors below) I went with a bit darker red and green colors to match up with the K&Company Christmas Papers. I sewed the bottom pattern paper with a straight stitch. I think I am insane sometimes. I just can't NOT sew my layers together, I twitch if I don't sew on a card! ... LOL Yes nuts. I matted her with a Spellbinders shaped nestie and then a red card stock. Then all of that is matted with the Whimsy Shapeology  Double Scallop Doily Die. Now I know you are looking at it and saying "Uh that is a rectangle not a square..." Yes it is. Don't let the square hold you back for matting your rectangle images. I cut it in half.... then I over lapped it to make it the needed size.  One of my favorite Whimsy dies has SO many more uses! I added a silk ribbon around the middle. A couple of pearls for some bling, then I found a few poinsettia flowers and leaves in my flower stash.

Inside more of the same papers with the Whimsy the Sentimentables Die "Holiday Set" Merry Christmas.

Copic colors used -

Really enjoyed making this one - Hope you enjoyed seeing it. Now make sure to visit the Whimsy Stamps New Products page and see all the great new images for the holiday season!

Have a great one! Doing a little outdoor clean up here... getting ready for more rain this coming weekend. We were lucky last weekend the Hurricane gave us nearly 3 inches of very much needed rain but spared us to much to create flooding. Already seeing some grass popping up all over the property well... if you can see it before the animals munch it! LOL

For my image to show off today I chose "Little Red Riding Hood" by Elizabeth Bell. So in love with her stuff and this one was so fun to color.

I colored with my Copics (colors below) and really went crazy with that red dress and hood. I just kept adding color. LOL hope it isn't too much. I found papers from BoBunny Juliet collection. Love the deep colors with the collection. I sewed down the layers with a zig zag stitch. I then cut a mat with a Spellbinders Die. And then the sewed down Red Riding Hood. I must say then I had lots of fun playing with Whimsy Shapeology Dies. I just cleaned out my book of dies and so I was just having fun with a few that I haven't used in a long while. So here is the list of dies -  Corner Die Set, Sentimentables Die Set, Vines Die Set, and I found some little flower dies. I dotted those flowers with a Viva Deco Black Paper Pen.

Inside I used more of the same papers and scraps.
