One carries a beach umbrella - to contend with the rain...
But in this scene, the umbrella seems to be useful for prodding some sea grass...

These signs are in the Hillview Community Reserve in Dromana...
The proposed leash free area for dogs has been on the council agenda for some years
(approx since 2010)
- though the sign is only about a year old...
(NOTE: the sign says off-lease and not off-leash... hmmm)
The second sign indicates that this area is utilised for bike riders and walkers
who wish to meet the challenge of climbing to Arthurs Seat
(highest point on the Mornington Peninsula)
via a rather steep track...
(It is a very popular track - especially at weekends...)
Meanwhile, there is also a BMX track on the drawing board - but no sign for that one...
