Crocheted Character Hats
Made these last week for our twin granddaughters Halloween costume. Basic earflap crochet pattern can be found here on the artist's blog. (Vicki Mikulak) I used regular Super Saver Red Heart yarn for these. Lots of fun!

Halloween is over!
Actually I am glad it 's over. I realize this is a fun time for most kids and plenty of adults, but for me it signals that Fall weather is really here and we are head long into the holiday season. I am hoping this year will be time well spent with family and friends and no hectic rush to do shopping amongst the crowds of materialistic, greedy and often times rude people. I don't think it's a cop out on my part to hope for this, rather than a need for a more restful and enjoyable time of the year. Is that too much to ask? I hope not. Happy holidays to everyone and may God bless you and your family :)
