PKS & MCT Co-Hop

***If you are looking for my Easter giveaway. Scroll down to the next post or click HERE.

Welcome to my stop on the final day of the Miss Kate Cuttables and Peachy Keen Stamps Co-Hop. I LOVE both of these companies so I was SO excited for the opportunity to join in this co-hop.

I made 3 little projects to share with you today. Here they are all together.

These two little cuties here are 3" shape cards. I had so much fun with them. I hid the faces and grouped the pieces together and then I used the print and cut feature on the Silhouette Cameo. For the cute chick I used the Chick Holding Egg cut from Miss Kate Cuttables and for the face I used the Happy Lashes 1 1/8 inch faces by Peachy Keen Stamps. The darling bunny is the Rabbit Holding Carrot by MKC and the face is from the Cute and Cuddly 1 1/8 inch face stamps by PKS. The little Happy Easter Sentiment on both of these is from the March 2014 SKOTM.

I thought it would be fun to have the back side of these shape cards be the back of the little critter. By mirroring the image and deleting some of the details and changing which layers were on top of the others I was able to create a pretty convincing little back side. What do you think?

For my last project I made an A2 sized card. I used the Cute Easter Egg svg file from Miss Kate Cuttables. I stamped the sky using the Cloudy Day A2 sized background stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps. I also used the Piles of 1" Smiles for the faces and the Baby Easter Bunny stamp set both by PKS. I added some white baker's twine as an accent and I was done.

I hope you've enjoyed to fun. Don't forget to comment on all the participants blogs for your chance at some awesome prizes and to get a  free cutting file for the day.

Have a great day! Hugs- Glora

Happy Mother's Day Card

It is time for a new Peachy Keen Challenge and this time to join in the challenge you have to make a CARD! The card needs to have a Mother/Grandmother theme. Pretty simple and fun. I hope you will join in the fun challenge HERE.

This is the card that I made.

These darling bears are on the Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge. The faces are stamped with the Cute and Cuddly Face assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps and the sentiment is from the May 2012 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps. I added some faux stitching with some Sakura Gelly Roll pens.

I hope you have a wonderful day. Check out the challenge over on the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge blog and join in if you can! Hugs- Glora

MCT Designer Challenge hosted by Me

Today I get to host the My Creative Time Designer Challenge. My challenge is to make a set of 4, 3"x3" cards. If you are up to an extra challenge make the cards with a critter theme, but all that is REQUIRED for my challenge is a set of 4, 3" x 3" cards. I hope you will join in the fun and thanks to Emma for letting me host a challenge on her blog. To join the challenge go to Emma's blog (HERE).

Here is my set of 3" x 3" cards:

For these cards I used My Creative Time's Small Talk stamp set. It is perfect for 3x3 cards and it has an awesome variety of sentiments too. The faces are by Peachy Keen Stamps and are Cute and Cuddly Faces and the Everyday Character Face Parts 7-9". The Teddy Bear cut is this one HERE from Miss Kate's Cuttables (I just used the head of the cut).

I had to make little envelopes for my set of cards too, so here they are with their envelopes (made using the  3x3 Fancy Envelope Die):

I hope you will join in on the fun! Make sure to stop by Emma's blog to see what everyone else made and to join in the fun! Hugs- Glora

Happy Easter Treat Basket

It is time for another 3D Wednesday at My Creative Time.

For my project I got my inspiration from a recent trip to Archiver's. They had these paper baskets that I've made before, but there's had something different. They had a peeking bunny over one of the edges. They had used some paper punches and hand drawn a face on theirs too. I couldn't get over the cute idea and knew that I had to make one but with Emma's dies and with a Peachy Keen Face Stamp.

To make my bunny I used Emma's Stitched Circle Die and the Stitched Oval Die. Easy peasy but cute too. I used the Cute and Cuddly 1 1/8" faces by Peachy Keen Stamps for the face. The sentiment is from Emma's To My Best Peep stamp set and the little piece I stamped on is a die from the Chunky Jar Accessories set.

If you haven't made one of these baskets before it is SUPER simple. My friend Pam made a video tutorial on how to make these a while back. Click HERE if you are interested in seeing her video. Most people make these with a 12x12 piece of paper (which requires a LOT of candy to fill it). I was going for something a little smaller and used a 6x6 piece of paper.

If you are interested in making these in different sizes I will give you some measurements below that might help you out:

*The original 12x12 size is scored at 4" and 8" (when completed the base and each side panel is 4"x4")

*For a 9"x9" piece of paper score at 3" and 6" (when completed the base and each side panel is 3"x3")

*For a 7.5"x7.5" piece of paper score at 2.5" and 5" (when completed the base each side panel is 2.5"x 2.5")

*For a 6"x6" piece of paper score at 2" and 4" (when completed the base and each side panel is 2"x2"). THIS is the size that I used for this project!

And if you want to make a really tiny one...
take a 3"x3" piece of paper and score at 1" and 2" (when completed the base and each side panel is 1"x 1")

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog and check out the other 3D projects!

Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

There's No BUNNY Like YOU!

Pam and I are doing our monthly cut challenge. I chose the cut this month and it was the cute little bunny in the Easter basket from the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge. I LOVE that cartridge  A LOT!

Here is my easel card shut:

And here it is open:

The card base is from the Baby Steps cartridge. I used the Cute and Cuddly Faces  (1 1/8") by Peach Keen Stamps for the bunny face. The darling sentiment comes from one of My Creative Time's original sets Color Me Happy and the shapes I stamped on are dies by My Creative Time called Curly Label Die and Stitched Curly Label Die. Besides that I did a bunch of faux stitching and added some glossy accents and VOILA!

Make sure to stop by Pam's blog to see what she created with this image. Click HERE to go to Pam's blog and have a TERRIFICAL day! Hugs- Glora

KBD/PKS Birthday Bash Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the KaDoodle Bug Designs and Peachy Keen Stamps Birthday Bash Blog Hop. If you came here from Elecia's blog then you are in the right spot, if not make sure to start back at the KaDoodle Bug Designs blog for the whole hop.

I am excited to have had a chance to have played with some of these darling designs. I made two 8.5" x 5.5" cards.

I just fell in love with this darling bunny peeking over this egg.

The KaDoodle Bug Design is called Happy Easter Bunny. I used the Cute and Cuddly Face Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. The sentiment is from the new Baby Easter Bunny set and the sweet little design around the sentiment is from the March 2013 SKOTM. I inked all the edges of the cuts and did some doodling and faux stitching too. I used the Seeing Spots Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. The twine is from The Twinery.

For my second card I did a spring birthday card.

For this one I used the new KaDoodle Bug Designs Birthday Cake Frog. He is currently a freebie in their store. For this one I used the June 2012 SKOTM from Peachy Keen Stamps for the frog's face and for the sentiment too. I did more inking and faux stitching.

Well, I won't keep you any longer because there is a TON of fabulous stuff still ahead. There is a full list of prizes and how to earn them on the KaDoodle Bug Designs blog, so make sure you check that out. Hugs- Glora

Well you really are in for a treat especially if you love teddy bears as much as I do. You should have arrived here from Debbie's blog but if not make sure that you start back at the My Creative Time blog so that you don't miss a single stop.

I made a couple of projects because I LOVE this set SO much. First up a card:

This adorable little koala bear is from the new Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge. The heart background shapes are also from that cartridge I just made it into a shape card using my Gypsy. The ADORABLE little face on the koala is from the Critter Faces - Medium stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps. And of course that AWESOME sentiment is from the brand new Beary Special Thoughts stamp set by My Creative Time.

My Second Project is a layout.

The brown section is a 5.25 x 7.25 mat for a 5x7 photo. The pretty picot trim across the top of it is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

Here is a close up of the top part of the layout.

These little bears and the stitched hearts are from the new Beary Special Thoughts stamp set. The sentiment is also from the set. It comes straight and I just curved it on my stamping block so that it would follow the curve of the paper. The twine is from Trendy Twine.

And last of all here is a close up of the larger bear at the bottom of the layout.

This little cutie was made using an old Coluzzle set that I have. That pretty pink polka dot paper in the background is actually flocked and oh so pretty and soft. It is by Doodlebug Design the smaller polka dot paper is also by Doodlebug Design. The brown paper is Core'dinations. The cute little face is from the Cute and Cuddly Face Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. The heart is a My Creative Time Die that comes with the 100% Sweetness stamp set. And the sentiment once again comes from the Beary Special Thoughts stamp set by Emma.

Simply Crafts - Christmas Stocking Cut

Hello and welcome to another Simply Crafts Challenge day. For those of you unfamiliar with this, my crafting bestie, Pam, and I do a cut challenge the first Wednesday of each month. We just opened up our challenge so that anyone could participate a couple of months ago. If you are interested in joining the fun hop on over to the Simply Crafts Challenge Blog.

For the cut this month Pam chose the stocking from the Jolly Holidays cartridge. I thought it would look really cute with a sweet little teddy bear inside and so that is exactly what I did.

I love the sentiment I used for this card. It is from My Creative Time's Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set. The darling bear is from the Sugar and Spice Cricut Lite cartridge and the oh so SWEET and perfect face is by Peachy Keen Stamps and are called Cute and Cuddly Faces. All the paper, except for the kraft and white, are from a paper pad by My Minds Eye it is called Be Merry. In fact this little paper pad is part of this months giveaway.

Sneak Peek #2 - My Creative Time - September Release

Hi sweet My Creative Time friends. Welcome to Day 2 of My Creative Time Sneak Peek week. Today we are all showing you a super fun set called Anyday Bingo and Crossword. Talk about a versatile set. There are loads of cute little images, along with a bingo board, crossword blocks, and a FULL ALPHABET. I love it and I seriously can't wait to see what Emma and the rest of the Design Team did with this stamp set. Here is a card I made using the bingo board, the little bunny stamp in the middle, and the beautiful alphabet (to spell out BUNNY):

For the 'bunny hugs' and 'bunny kisses' sentiments I used Emma's Color Me Happy Stamp set (from her very first release). I used a Cute and Cuddly face by Peachy Keen Stamp for the bunny. I was trying to make it look like the bunny was peeking over the edge of the bingo card. I hope it worked. The bunny is from the Easter 2010 cartridge. The image on the cartridge is only the head. I used the head piece and then the little muzzle looked like a paw shape to me, so I used my Gypsy to hide some of the features and used two of the muzzle pieces for the paws. Here is a quick diagram:

I also wanted to show you really quickly a gift card holder that we gave to my parents for Grandparents Day last Sunday. The words Grandma and Grandpa were made using the beautiful font on this new Anyday Bingo and Crossword stamp set (thanks Emma for giving me this idea). I used Emma's Gift Card Holder Die and the top sentiment is from the Gift Card Sentiments (both from August's stamp and die release).

Happy Birthday PAM!!!

Yes, that's right, today is a very special day, it is my crafting bestie's birthday. Happy birthday Pam! Pam is so sweet and I'm thankful to have met her. I started following Pam's blog right after it was announced that she had made the My Pink Stamper's very first Design Team. I clicked on her blog and immediately loved it. I believe I was about her 5th or 6th follower, it didn't take long for people to recognize how talented she is,  now she has TONS of devoted followers and rightly so. Anyway, long story short, she is a sweetheart and I'm so glad that we have become friends! I HOPE your birthday is AMAZING Pam!

This is the card that I get to share on her blog today!

This little puppy is supposed to be Pam's female dog Kyla wishing Pam a happy birthday. I wanted to use Pam's favorite color (a dark cranberry/burgundy) and I don't know if she likes turquoise or not, but I thought it coordinated well. I had so much fun adding crepe paper and twine to the gift bag, as well as the darling My Creative Time birthday sentiment. I tried to add a bit of depth and dimension as well but that is hard to see in the picture! Anyway, happy birthday Pam, this card was inspired by you and made for you! Love you tons!

Pam has an AWESOME giveaway today, let me just say that there are several items including a CRICUT CARTRIDGE. So hop on over there and leave her a comment and if you don't yet, you should follower her blog, you definitely WILL NOT regret it! Click HERE to go to Pam's blog.

This project is also my Let's Face it Friday Challenge entry over at the Peachy Keen Blog. The challenge was to use plentiful patterns. Thanks for stopping by today. Make it a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora
