You Light Up My Life Tags

I'm cutting one more challenge close to the deadline. I wanted to join in the Peachy Keen Stamps linky party. I made some tags with one of the new sets.

I love this little light bug. Isn't it darling? It comes from the new A Little Light Camping. It is such a darling set and comes with the perfect sentiments too! I masked off part of the sentiment and just stamped 'let it shine.'

I think this flashlight is super cute too. It comes on this set too and so does the sentiment.

The tag die is by My Creative Time and is called Stitched Round Tab, Arrow and Tag Die. Here are both of the tags together.

I colored these real quick with my Spectrum Noir markers. I'm having fun experimenting with them a little here and there! I hope you have a terrific rest of your weekend. Hugs- Glora

I also used two My Creative Time dies, the Fun Stitched Edge Dies and the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die. I added some Stickles and Glossy Accents and I was good to go. Happy Birthday Princess with BLING

Hi everyone, there is a new Designer's Challenge over at My Creative Time and we are using BLING for the challenge (glitter, gems, sequins, you name it). This was a fun challenge and I hope you will play along at My Creative Time.

I had WAY too much fun with the bling on this. I used the All Around Birthday Time for the crown and sentiment. I heat embossed the crown in silver. I added a little bit of stickles to the crown as well as some adhesive gems. I also used the Scallop and Stitched Circles by My Creative Time. The glittery pink and purple papers are by Core'dinations. The blue is by DCWV. I added a few sequins and gems at the bottom too. This is a super BLINGY and fun birthday card for a girl.

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog so you can join in this fun challenge too! Hugs- Glora

Have you been LOVING all the Peachy Keen sneak peeks? Well Kathy has done it again and created some more AMAZING stamps! I love this April kit and the face sets are some of my all time favorites.

Here is a fun graduation card I made using the bee and graduation cap off this April 2013 SKOTM set. I also used my new Silhouette Cameo to cut the SVG's for the perfect outline.

Doesn't that bee and its sweet face just make you smile?

The polka dot paper is by PaperTrey Ink. The twine is from The Twinery. I used Copics to color my bee and some Stickles and StarDust gel pen for the sparkle. I hope you like it.

Welcome to Day 2 of the KaDoodle Bug Designs and Peachy Keen Stamps Birthday Bash Blog Hop. If you came here from Elecia's blog then you are in the right spot, if not make sure to start back at the KaDoodle Bug Designs blog for the whole hop.

I am excited to have had a chance to have played with some of these darling designs. I made two 8.5" x 5.5" cards.

I just fell in love with this darling bunny peeking over this egg.

The KaDoodle Bug Design is called Happy Easter Bunny. I used the Cute and Cuddly Face Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. The sentiment is from the new Baby Easter Bunny set and the sweet little design around the sentiment is from the March 2013 SKOTM. I inked all the edges of the cuts and did some doodling and faux stitching too. I used the Seeing Spots Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. The twine is from The Twinery.

For my second card I did a spring birthday card.

For this one I used the new KaDoodle Bug Designs Birthday Cake Frog. He is currently a freebie in their store. For this one I used the June 2012 SKOTM from Peachy Keen Stamps for the frog's face and for the sentiment too. I did more inking and faux stitching.

Peachy Keen Stamps - December Sketch Challenge

Hello Peachy Keen friends. It is time for another sketch challenge over at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog. This is a cute and simple sketch. I really enjoyed working with it we are also celebrating a VERY special BIRTHDAY. It is going to be the Peachy Queen's birthday VERY soon so we are incorporating that into the sketch too. Happy birthday KATHY. You are amazing and one of the sweetest and most giving people that I've had a chance to get to know. I hope that your birthday is as special as you are!

Here is my card. I tend to stick pretty close to a sketch most of the time as I did this time, however sometimes it is fun to just play around with a sketch too. For instance the first time I saw the sketch I thought it would make an ADORABLE window scene. Unfortunately I just couldn't get a vision for the right scene. I'm certain someone will make one and I will say, "Yup, that is exactly what I was thinking." Anyway, have fun with it I can't wait to see what you all make with it.

Isn't that hat full of snowmen just the cutest? It is from the PKS December stamp release and is called Snow Sweet Home. On the INSIDE it will say "HAPPY WINTER BIRTHDAY" which is from the brand new Snow Me a Man.

I paper pieced the hat, colored the snowmen with markers, chalks, and Stickles. Then I inked around the edges, pretty simple but fun too. I hope you will join in on this fun challenge and wish Kathy, the Peachy Queen a happy birthday too.

Make sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog to see what the other designers did with this sketch/birthday challenge. Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Skatin' By to Say Hi!

***If you are looking for the Peachy Keen Stamps Thankful Hop click HERE or scroll down to the next post.***

We were having the most beautiful and warmish sort of fall weather and then POW we were just hit with a ton of snow. It is beautiful, I just kind of prefer it when I'm inside with a cup of Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa. Well it only seemed the fitting weather to share a card I made for one of the challenges over on the Peachy Keen Connection. There is still a little time to join in on the fun challenges, so I hope you will play along.

Isn't this the cutest little penguin? I just LOVE her! She is from the Skatin' By stamp set that was just released at Peachy Keen Stamps. I paper pieced her and added some Stickles and silver gel pen as accents.

Don't forget that the awesome Peachy Sale is still going on too.

And I hope to see you back here on Monday for the start of an awesome My Creative Time stamp and die release.

Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen Challenge - Anything Goes

Hi, it is time for another Peachy Keen Challenge and this one is an Anything Goes challenge, so what are you waiting for, pull out your favorite Peachy stamps and submit something over at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

I made an easel card for my project.

For this card I used the Twick or Tweet Birdhouse stamp set and the September 2012 SKOTM. I paper pieced the house and then added some Stickles and Glossy Accents. For the sentiment I ran stamped it, cut it out, ran it backwards through my Xyron sticker maker and then added transparent glitter to it. Then I added Glossy Accents all over on top of that. It took a while to dry since it covered a large area but I LOVE how it looks (it is even cooler in person).

The patterned papers are from a DCWV Halloween stack.

Make sure to stop by the Challenge blog and see what the other designers have made and to link up your own NEW project. Hugs- Glora

BOO - Simply Crafts October 2012

It is the first Wednesday of the month and that means that it is time for another Simply Crafts Challenge. Today we are using the vampire bat cut from the brand new Create a Critter 2 cartridge. Normally we would want you to only use this cut or a similar one, but since it is the 1 year anniversary of our challenge blog we are going to let you submit ANY new Halloween themed project. Check out the Simply Crafts Challenge blog (HERE) for more details.

I had lots of fun with this cutie. My card is 4.25 x 4.25". I used a BRAND NEW Peachy Keen Face stamp for my bat, the set this face came from will be released on Friday and is called Piles of 3/4" Smiles (so this is also a little bit of a sneak peek too :)). The large sized boo sentiment is from the Halloween Holler Spooky Tree and Cat set by Peachy Keen Stamps. The bat, cloud and moon were all cut from the Create a Critter 2 cartridge. I added some Stickles to the black areas on the bat, when that dried I added some glossy accents. I was getting impatient for the glossy accents to dry so I started to use my heat gun to speed things up. I moved it around so it wouldn't get too hot and burn, well it started to burn a little anyway so I stopped and let it dry. When I was able to get back to it several hours later the wings had dried with a bit of an outward curve. I actually LOVED the dimension that added to the bat. Here is a side view so you can see what I'm talking about.

Can you see how far those wings stick out? I love it and I hope you do too.

Make sure to stop by Pam's blog (HERE) to see what she did with this cut and how she did it. I've already seen her card and it is an ADORABLE little scene. You won't want to miss it. And if you would like to join in on the fun please link up at the Simply Crafts Blog and don't forget there are still lots of sneak peeks going on at the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog and it is also 3D Wednesday over at My Creative Time. Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #34 - Color Inspiration

Hi Peachy friends. Today is a new challenge at Peachy Keen Stamps. This one is a color inspiration challenge. This is the picture with the colors that we are to use.

The colors don't have to be an exact match just similar. Here is my card.

For this card I used the Mitsy Sue and Colby Cheer Up stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps. I stamped her on gray cardstock and then I chalked her up and cut her out. I added some Stickles and Glossy Accents here and there to the image as well. The patterned paper comes from a My Minds Eye paper stack. The hemp twine comes from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

Make sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Challenge blog for more inspiration and so that you can join in the fun too. I can't wait to see what you make. Hugs- Glora

My Creative Time 3D Wednesday - BIRTHDAY

Hello. It is time for another My Creative Time 3D Wednesday and today all of our projects are going to have a birthday theme to them.

I thought I would throw together a couple of simple but nice birthday favors/gifts. Emma's products make this SO easy to do. For my first project I made a little hand sanitizer holder.

All I did was use the My Creative Time Stitched Lollipop Holder, The Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies, I used the All Around Birthday Time stamp set for the sentiment and Anyday Bingo and Crossword for the cute little cupcake. Then I accented with some Stickles and twine and voila I was done. Super easy.

My next project is a little treat box.

For this one I used the Bubblegum Treat Box Die, The Stitched Circle Die and the All Around Birthday Time stamp set. I heat embossed the crown with silver embossing powder and added a few gems and a little bit of Stickles to it. I also used some pretty twine to tie the sides together. Again super easy but cute.

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog for TONS of birthday inspiration! And don't forget she will be starting her early release on her birthday May 10th! It is an awesome release and you won't want to miss it.

Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora
