Secondly, I wanted to remind everyone about the Simply Crafts Challenge. You still have a few days to enter a project with a stocking on it and if you win the random drawing one of the prizes is the cute little paper stack that I used on ALL of the projects below:

A Few Things
I know I've been kinda quiet on here this week. That is because I'm going crazy making scrapbook/signing pages for my niece's wedding on Saturday (50 pages to be exact). The newest trend right now (in Utah anyway) is to have your guest sign a scrapbook page or a photo frame instead of a regular guest book. Basically the scrapbook page is a picture of the couple along with a couple of embellishments. Then the guests write a little note to the couple in the empty area of the scrapbook page. I will probably post one of the pages for you to look at tomorrow, just so that you can see what I'm talking about.
Secondly, I wanted to remind everyone about the Simply Crafts Challenge. You still have a few days to enter a project with a stocking on it and if you win the random drawing one of the prizes is the cute little paper stack that I used on ALL of the projects below:

Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam #9
Hello friends, it is the first Wednesday of the month which means it is time for a cut challenge between me and my crafting bestie Pam (Simply-Pam).
I am super excited because Pam and I have decided to let you join in on our cut challenge fun. And yes, there will even be a small prize for a random winner. The new challenge blog is called Simply Crafts Challenge Blog. Click HERE to go and see Pam's project and the full details on the challenge.
Pam chose the cut this month which is a little monster off of the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge.
Here is my card with this cut:
She is on an Action Wobble and my littlest one LOVES this little monster. Can't you just see her wobbling back and forth. The shape for this card is from the Happy Haunting cartridge and I just welded it together in my Gypsy at 4.25 x 5.5". The cute little face is by Peachy Keen Stamps and is called Monster Mash. The cute orange and black twine is by Trendy Twine and is so cute on Halloween projects. And that super beautiful sentiment and die combo is by Emma at My Creative Time. The die is called the Stitched Oval Die and the stamp set is Mixed Holiday Sentiments.
If you decide to join in on this fun challenge, the cut is on page 49 of the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge. If you do play along you will have a chance to win the following (pictured below): 15 yards of the orange and black Trendy Twine, The Skeleton Scroll Cuttlebug embossing folder and some Halloween colored brads by SEI. Just make sure to link up on the Simply Crafts Challenge Blog within the next two weeks and we will pick a random winner.
Don't forget to stop by Pam's blog to see the full details on her project too. Just click HERE.

Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam #8
Hello sweet crafty friends. Today is the first Wednesday of September, which means it is time for another Simply Crafts with my amazing and talented friend Pam of Simply-Pam. If you are new to this, Pam and I take turns choosing a cut from a Cricut cartridge and make something with it. This month it was my turn to choose and I chose the gumball machine from the Sweethearts cartridge.
I made this card for my husband, in fact I have wanted to make it for him since I got the cartridge but never got around to it. This seemed like the perfect opportunity. To make a long story short, he hid my engagement ring inside a gumball machine (in his personal office) over 10 years ago. Little did he know that I was a sucker for gumball machines. Well I got the ring, he proposed and everytime I see a gumball machine I think of him 'my sweet love!'
For my card, I used twice as many gumballs to make it look more full, half of them are colored cardstock and the other half were cut on white cardstock and I colored them in with my Copics. I also added a piece of acetate to the front of the gumball machine to make it look more realistic.
Well, I hope that you make sure to drop by Pam's blog and see what awesome project she came up with using this cut. I know it will be AMAZING. Click HERE to go to Pam's blog.

Hello, so sorry I have been missing in action the last little while. My husband had a few days off and we decided to do some fun stuff with our kids. Anyway, it is time for another Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam, which is a cut challenge between me and my crafting bestie, Pam, AKA: Simply-Pam. This month Pam chose the cut. It is button #10 on the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge. Her mini skirt was a little too short for me so I added some extra layers... anyway, here is my take on this cut.

Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam #6
Hello, and welcome to the first Wednesday of the month and another fun cut challenge between me and Pam. It was my month to choose a cut. I recently got the Baby Steps cartridge and haven't had a lot of time to play with it yet so I wanted to use it. I said we could do either the baby boy or the girl sleeping on the moon cut. Mine is a simple shape card (but a little more tricky without my sweet Gypsy).
I LOVE this sentiment from Emma's newest stamp release called Encouraging Quotes. I think it is perfect for this cut. This particular cut doesn't include the stars, I just added some stars from the Baby Steps cartridge. I inked all the edges. And this baby would not be NEARLY as cute without that darling Peachy Keen face stamp from the Just Baby Faces assortment! It is just the sweetest set for baby cuts!

Items Used:
*Inks for inking
*Versamarker
*Zig Marker

The cute sentiment is from Emma's (My Creative Time's) All Star Baby set. This set has SO many super cute baby sentiments on it. I LOVE it. Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam #4
Wow, another month has come and gone and it is the first Wednesday of May, which means it is time for another Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam challenge. If you are new to this, my crafty friend Pam and I challenge each other to make a project with a specific Cricut cut each month. It is a lot of fun. This month it was my turn to choose. I choose the girl singing with a microphone in her hand from the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge.
This card is business envelope sized. I saw this tall, skinny girl and wanted to make a tall card for her. I love this sentiment from Emma's (My Creative Time's) Wow! So Many Candles stamp set. I thought it was perfect because it is like she is singing Happy Birthday to the recipient.
And I was THRILLED to see how cute the Peachy Keen Stamps Wide Eyed Kids face stamps look on her.
I'm so excited to see what Pam came up with on this one. I'm positive it will be AWESOME. You won't want to miss it. She has a beautiful and clean style that I absolutely LOVE. She is so talented. Click HERE to see her card!
Oh yes and a Happy Birthday wish to Miss Nikki (Scrappin' Navy Wife).

Anyway, it is the first Wednesday of the month so that means it is time for the cut challenge between me and my crafty friend Pam. Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam #2
It is time for another monthly challenge between Pam and me. I got to choose the Cricut cut this time. I chose the rainbow and clouds from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge. It is on page 55 of the handbook. I made a shaped card with my Gypsy. I also hid the faces on the clouds so that I could add some cute Peachy Keen face stamps. The beautiful sentiment it from Emma's (My Creative Time's) Color Me Happy set. Kind of simple but fun. I hope you like it.
Please take a minute to check out Pam's project on her blog. Click HERE to go to her blog. I know that she has something beautiful to show you with this cut. She is amazing! Thanks for joining us.
I also decided to submit this to the Fantabulous Cricut challenge. The challenge was to make a shaped card.

Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam
Hello sweet friends! Today is the start of a fun challenge between me and my sweet crafty friend Pam at Simply-Pam. The first Wednesday of each month we are going to challenge each other to make something using a specific cut from a certain cartridge. This fun challenge was Pam's idea and so she chose the cut for this month. The cut is the clothes line from the Straight from the Nest cartridge.
I had to add my own little touch to the clothing by adding a Mickey icon. I also wanted the clothes line to go all the way across and so I changed that a little as well.
The sentiment for my card is from the My Creative Time - Mom You ROCK stamp set. I must admit that doing laundry isn't my favorite part of being a mom but those sweet little girl hugs and kisses make it all worth it. They are the best!
I can't wait to see what the very talented Pam has come up with for our challenge. I hope you will check it out. Pam is SUPER talented and makes BEAUTIFUL cards and projects. Click HERE to go to Pam's blog you won't be disappointed.
