Sympathy Card and LOTS of FUN coming your way this week!

Hello and happy Monday! I wanted to share with you a sympathy card and then some fun things that will be happening this week.

I think these are the hardest kinds of cards for me to make so I kept it fairly simple. I have never tied my ribbon off like this before (off to the side) but I've seen Nikki do it and thought I would give it a try. I really like how it looks.

The background was stamped with the Punched Tin background stamp by Market Street Stamps. The sentiment is from the Floral Sentiments stamp set by My Creative Time. The ribbon is 3/4" May Arts Twill Ribbon with Chevron Print and that ADORABLE little black flower is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

Tomorrow I hope you will all join us for an awesome Halloween and Fall inspired blog hop at Peachy Keen Stamps. There is also going to be a one day SALE too.

Then on Wednesday and Thursday there will be sneak peeks of Emma's newest release over at My Creative Time. Then we will having a blog hop on Friday. You are going to LOVE this new release.

I hope to see you back here for these fun events. Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Make a Wish, Fairy Birthday Card

My daughter recently had a birthday and she made sure to tell me what kind of a birthday card she wanted. She wanted TinkerBell's fairy friend Fawn on it. This is a very fitting choice for my daughter because she LOVES animals and Fawn is an Animal Fairy. Anyway, I had two options for Fawn my TinkerBell Cricut cartridge or some EK Success Fairy Stamps that I have had for a couple of years. I just happened to be in the mood for coloring so the stamps won over the debate. And here is her card:

The beautiful orange background paper is made with a background stamp by Market Street Stamps called Punched Tin. I stamped it with watermark ink then embossed it with clear embossing powder! I always love the way the clear embossing turns out! The beautiful sentiment is from My Creative Time's Polka Dot Surprise stamp set! This was one of Emma's earlier sets and I just find myself using it over and over again. I LOVE it!

Here is a little bit of a close up of Fawn (I used some Crystal Stickles on her wings and colored her with Copic Markers):

I hope you are having a terrific day! Take care! Hugs- Glora

Items Used:

My Creative Time stamps - Polka Dot Surprise
Market Street Stamps - Punched Tin
EK Success - Disney Fairies Clear Stamps
Clear Embossing Powder
Copic Markers

The Sweetest Halloween Pumpkin EVER!!!

Hello sweet crafting friends. Today I'm going to share a couple of cards that I made with some digi images that my friend Cindy of Cindy's Little Creations made. Cindy is super talented and I'm so proud of her and the beautiful designs that she has been making. Cindy had shared some images for me to use and I love them!!! Stop by HERE to see other creations that Cindy has made. You will not be disappointed she is amazing!

Now, I really am a novice at coloring with Copics but have some and I love how they look so I used them anyway (although I will admit that it took me FOREVER to do up these two images). I only have 36 markers that came in a set and I have actually found that it makes for some difficulty in blending since the colors are not as close in color as I would like, but for now they work. Don't pay too close of attention to my coloring, just enjoy the beautiful digi's for what they are :). I would also like to thank my friend Kate for some tips on working with digi's and Cindy gave me some awesome pointers too. Thanks ladies!

Here is my first card and I'm totally in LOVE with this pumpkin, I think she is the sweetest Halloween pumpkin EVER!!!!

Isn't she too cute?!!! I really LOVE her!!! Great job on this digi Cindy!!! I added some accent doodles to the image after I colored it with the Copics and then I also added some glossy accents to the eyes, nose and tooth. The black piece was cut from the Shall We Dance Cricut cartridge and I faux stitched around it with a white gel pen. The beautiful crinkle ribbon is by Patsy at The Prairie Bird Boutique. The darling green pattern on the green paper is an awesome background stamp by Market Street Stamps. It is called Punched Tin and I love how it looks on there. And last but not least the absolutely perfect sentiment for this cute pumpkin is from the All Around Halloween stamp set by My Creative Time.

Here is my second card using another digi by Cindy...

I think that kitty peeking out is just too darn cute!!!! For this one, I colored it with Copics and then cut it out. I printed a second copy on the blue background so I could glue my image down and still have the cute swirlies and such on the pumpkins and still have a dark starry sky. I added more doodling with my white gel pen and glossy accents on the cats eyes and nose. I used Emma's Stitched Oval Die and a sentiment from her Mixed Holiday Sentiments. A little bit of twine and inking and my card was done.

I hope you enjoyed these and thanks again Cindy. These were so much fun to work with!!!

Also make sure to join us for some sneak peeks with My Creative Time starting on Monday :)! Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer - Day 5

Hello my sweet Peachy lovin' friends. I can not believe this wonderful week has come to an end. I have absolutely LOVED sharing my love of Peachy Keen Stamps with all of you and I'm so thankful for Kathy, Angelica and the whole Peachy Family for giving me this, dream come true, opportunity! Thanks a million times over!!!!

My last back to school project is a banner. I used my daughter's school colors of blue, red and white and have it hanging up in our house. My girls LOVE this banner and I hope you do too. First I'll show you a picture of the whole banner and then we will zoom in on some of the details...

Okay now here is my first little banner holding girl:

I think this little girl is such a CUTIE especially thanks to her darling Peachy Face! I used 'Princess Faces' for her super sweet face. I also used a background stamp called 'Punched Tin' by Market Street Stamps for her dress. I seriously want dresses with that same pattern on it for my girls!

Here is the cute banner holding boy:

For this sweet little boy, I used one of my favorite go to stamp sets called 'Wide Eyed Kids'! LOVE these! And for his sports team numbers I used the awesome chunky numbers from Emma's 'Follow Your Dreams' stamp set. If any of you are BYU sport fans that number should look familiar ;).

And now for the last little banner holder:

Doesn't she look SO happy! I just love the 'Happy Lashes' set by Peachy Keen Stamps. It makes everything look SO super cute! For the dress I stamped it with the 'Extra Small Polka Dot' stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps.

Well, I think that's it. What a wonderful week!!!! Thanks so much for being so supportive and encouraging to me! You are all so very sweet and I hope that I can help to encourage you in your creative work as well. Hugs- Glora

We are So Proud of You

*** This post disappeared during the BLOGGER problem. I though it might show back up but it hasn't so I've re-added it back **

Well I guess there is nothing like a last minute challenge entry. This challenge seriously closes in about one hour. Anyway, this card is for the Peachy Keen Let's Face It Friday Challenge. The challenge was to use a banner somewhere on your project and a Peachy Keen face stamp. Well I just went to the cutest spring dance recital and wanted to give some of the participants a little card telling them how proud we were of them. The youngest was only 3 years old and they were so brave to stay on the stage and perform their little numbers.

I think they will love their little cards. The sentiment is from Emma's graduation set called "Follow Your Dreams" This set has some awesome sentiments of congratulations that can be used for many cards beyond graduation. The cute pink patterned paper is actually a Market Street background stamp stamped with watermark ink. It is called 'Punched Tin'. Isn't it beautiful? And of course that cute face is from a darling Peachy Keen Stamp set called Wide Eyed Kids.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Livestrong Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Livestrong Blog Hop. If you just came from Monica's blog than you are in the right spot, if not, the beginning of the hop starts with Maria.

Our projects for today are to focus on hope and encouragement. I wanted to make some small note cards that were simple, bright and cheerful for my project. I hope you like them. All of them were embossed with clear embossing powder.

This first one uses Follow Your Dreams stamp set by My Creative Time and the Loopy Loo Polka background stamp by Market Street Stamps.

This one uses Turn That Frown Upside Down by My Creative Time and Paisley by Market Street Stamps.

This one is My Favorite Sayings by My Creative Time and Sweet Lace by Market Street Stamps

This one uses Pain Pain Go Away! by My Creative Time and Punched Tin by Market Street Stamps.

Here is a picture of all of them together.

I have a small giveaway of Circle dies for your Cuttlebug (pictured below). All you have to do to have a chance to win is leave a comment on this post by Monday morning and have a US or Canada mailing address. I will pick a random winner on Monday, May 9th.

Your next stop on the hop is to Martha. Click HERE to go to Martha's blog.

I wanted to mention that Emma over at My Creative Time has just released a special stamp set that coincides perfectly with this hop. I wanted to post a picture of it and a link to her blog. By purchasing this stamp set, you are partnering with "My Creative Time" to help stamp out breast cancer. For each set that is purchased, My Creative Time will donate $2 to Susan G.
