Okay, you need to go and check out the awesome new Design Team that Emma has chosen for 2014 HERE. You are going to be impressed! I know most of these gals and just love them to pieces! I was lucky to have served on Emma's team for 3 years. These ladies are going to LOVE working with her!

Here are a few projects that I had sent in to tryout for the new team and since I've never shown them here I wanted to share them with you even though I'm not on the team this time around.

Here is my card,

For this I used the: Small Stitched Scalloped Bow Die, the Fun Stitched Edges, Floral Sentiments and Bloom Where You are Planted.

Here is my 3D project. It was a countdown to Christmas for my kiddos. They LOVED it!

For this I used A Day in December, Treat Slider Box, Build a Banner, Just Tags, Square Stitched Goody Dies and Teeny Tag Holidays.

And last of all my layout:

For this one I used the Build a Banner, Stitched 4x6 Journal Die, 4x4 Journal Die and More, Treats for My Sweet and Piles of Smiles. Happy 2014 to all of you! MCT November Release Sneak Peek Day 1

Well we have a SUPER fun release for you at My Creative Time and I'm so glad you decided to join us for our first day of sneak peeks.

I'm having lots of fun with these new stamps and dies and couldn't resist making a couple of projects for you today.

When I first saw the new Stitched Circle Tab Die the thought came to me that it looked like a little snow-globe. Then I wondered if Emma's cute little stitched snowman die from the previously released All Around Holidays set would fit inside. Well it does quite nicely. So here is my little tag I made with this idea:

The background tag piece is the Stitched Round Tab Arrow and Tag Die. The snowman is from the All Around Holidays stamp and die set (I just drew the accessories on him). The sentiment is from last months Teeny Tag Holidays. The snowglobe is made using the new Stitched Circle Tab Die and the darling little paper bow is made using the new Fun Size Stitched Bow. To make the snowglobe kind of 3D like and sparkly. I ran it through my Xyron snowman side down, then I sprinkled it with translucent glitter and covered it with Glossy Accents. The hardest part was just being patient enough to let the Glossy Accents dry.

I also made a simple card with some of the new sets.

Once again I used the Stitched Circle Tab Die and I also used the Circle Tab Sentiments from this release. Some other My Creative Time products that I used were the Anyday Bingo & Crossword (for the heart), Teeny Tag Greetings (for the sweet friend sentiment) and the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die.

Treat Bags For My Turkeys!

Hello friends. Today I get to host the new Designer Challenge over at My Creative Time. The challenge is to make any kind of project so long as it has a THANKSGIVING THEME and uses some My Creative Time products.

I had a blast with this challenge. My mind was going crazy thinking of all sorts of fun possibilities on how to use Emma's current dies to make a turkey. I love the little turkey gift bags and I hope you do too.

Everything on the topper of this treat bag was made using Emma's products other than the little Critter Faces (size small)  by Peachy Keen Stamps. Just in case you ever want to make these I'm going to list what I used. First let's start with the products that are the same for both turkey treat toppers. The green piece is My Creative Time's Stitched Doily Die. The brown turkey base is the bunny die from the To My Best Peep stamp and die set (I just cut off the bunny ears). The sentiment on both of them is from the new Teeny Tag Holidays stamp set.

On my girl turkey I used both layers of the Scalloped Stitched Rosette Dies for her tail feathers. I have seen some of the other My Creative Time designers use rosettes for tail feathers on turkeys and thought it looked really cute. To make her little hair bow I used the tiny little hearts you get when you cut the olive pick on the Cocktail Party Stitched Dies. 

The tail feathers on the boy turkey are the bunny ears from the To My Best Peep bunny die. I used the present die from the new All Around Holidays set for the hat. I just trimmed off the bow and cut another hat in red and trimmed it down so I could layer it on top.

Halloween Hustle Day 5

I can't believe it is the last day of the My Creative Time Halloween Hustle. I had so much fun and I got so many awesome ideas too. I hope you loved it as much as I did. 

I have a SUPER easy project for you today. I bought these cute little Halloween lip balms for my girls and wanted to doll them up with just a bit of twine and a cute tag and sentiment. It doesn't get any easier than this.

I used the brand new sentiments from the new Teeny Tag Holiday stamp set. Aren't those cute? There are some great holiday sentiments for the whole entire year and you can start buying this stamp set today. Something else that is fun is that this set isn't just for the Teeny Tag Dies you can use most if not all of these sentiments with the tags that are on the Chunky Jar Accessories Set. I just love how versatile My Creative Time products are.
