Thoughtful Thursday - HOPE

Today is Thoughtful Thursday over at My Creative Time. I made this card of encouragement for a friend who is training for a marathon. She is truly an inspiration.

For my card I used a free file from SVG Cuts. If you don't have it already you can get the file HERE. I used two different My Creative Time stamp sets for my sentiments. The first is the You Are Here stamp set and the second is Race for a Cure

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog to see some more Thoughtful Thursday projects. Hugs- Glora

Monday Madness... Imagine That - Race For a Cure

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday Madness... Imagine That with My Creative Time. Today we are all making 'Race For a Cure' type projects. We are also supposed to use our Imagines if we have them and patterned paper if we don't. Here is my card:

This is a standard A2 size card. The image is from the Sports Mania Cricut cartridge and was cut at 5". I cut it out a couple of extra times so that I could layer elements such as the tennis shoes and shirt. The perfect stamps (both sentiments and ribbon) are from Emma's Race For a Cure stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today and make sure to drop by Emma's blog to see what she and the rest of the Design Team have in store for you! Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Whimsical Wednesday blog hop. You should have arrived here from Karen's blog. If you just happened to drop by to say hi please go to the Whimsical Wednesday blog to start at the beginning of the hop. For this hop we all made banners/wall decor that will be sent to a nursing home. You can ready more about that HERE.

Here is my banner. I had so much fun making it. ALL of the cuts are from the Kate's ABC cartridge, butterflies, letters, and background shape.

Sorry that the photo gets dark toward the bottom of the banner. I have a couple of close up photos so you can see some of the details better.

The butterflies have darling Peachy Keen faces from the Critter Faces stamp sets and the beautiful Love and Hope stamps from a stamp set called Race for a Cure by Emma at My Creative Time. And Below is one more close up of the bottom butterfly. The wings are spritzed with a glimmer mist.

These our the generous sponsors for our blog hop and what they are giving away for prizes.

My Creative Time's Design Team Day - Race For a Cure!

Welcome to another wonderful design team day with Emma at My Creative Time. Today Emma wanted us to create ANY project but using the Race For a Cure stamp set. This stamp set is AMAZING for it's original purpose but it is also perfect for so many other projects too. The font and sentiments are just beautiful. And another wonderful thing about this set is that you partner with My Creative Time in raising money for the Susan G Komen for a Cure Foundation. $2 from the sale of each set goes to this wonderful cause.

For my project, I wanted to use these beautiful sentiments for a TinkerBell scrapbook page for my daughter. She loves TinkerBell and this will be perfect for her. Click on the image below if you would like to see the layout closer up.

Here is a close up of the tags:

Aren't those such beautiful sentiments?

I hope you enjoyed your visit today and I hope you will drop by Emma's blog to see what she has made along with all of the other talented design team members.

Race For a Cure!

Today I wanted to share a very simple race for a cure card. Emma at My Creative Time has made a beautiful stamp set for this cause and $2 from each sale goes to the Susan G Komen for a Cure Foundation. The stamp set is called Race for a Cure. I know a lot of us know and love someone who has been effected by cancer. I think this is a sweet set to show support for our friends and family that have battled with or are currently battling cancer.

Here is a picture of all the awesome sentiments and images for THIS SET. It is so versatile. I just love the font she has used for this set too.

Race for the Cure Hop!

Alright, can I just start by saying that I have really become dependant on blogger working for me. I tried getting my post up all the way up to the last minute before going on a school field trip to the zoo. I just got back and blogger was up! Hallelujah!!!

Anyway, today we are doing a very special blog hop. If you are coming from Katie's blog you are in the right spot, if not make sure you go back to Emma's blog so you can see all of the amazing projects.

Here is my project. It is a 'pink' and very girly tennis shoe shape card. I thought it would be perfect for today's hop.

Don't those stamps look great. Emma really has done an amazing job creating this special set. These sentiments are perfect and beautiful for all sorts of projects. Plus with every purchase of the "Race for a Cure" stamp set Emma is donating $2 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for a Cure. Here is a picture of this beautiful set.

Emma has provided this (pictured below) amazing grand prize to a lucky commenter. You just have to make sure that you comment on EVERY stop along the way.

Your next stop is the amazing Miss Leanne. I know she has something awesome for you to see. Click HERE to go to her blog.
