Valentine's

I wanted to drop by and quickly share a couple of Valentine's that I had made for the challenges over on the Peachy Keen Connection last week.

1st my Elephant Valentine:

This cute elephant is from the Peachy Keen/ CottageCutz stamp and die set called Happy Go Lucky Elephant. The sweet little heart is from Emma's 100% Sweetness stamp set and the sentiment is from the My Creative Time Lots of Love Stamp set.

and here is my 2nd Valentine:

This is my little LOVE skunk. She is also a Peachy Keen Stamps/ CottageCutz stamp and die set called Stinky Skunk. The LOVE sentiment comes from My Creative Time's Lots of Love stamp set and the sweet little hearts are MCT's Stitched Heart Layering Dies.

MCT February Release - Sneak Peek Day 2

Welcome to the 2nd day of My Creative Time's February Release Sneak Peeks. Today we are using the Fun Tickets and Fun Ticket Dies. I also used the new Stitched Buttons Dies from the new release.

My parents always do a Valentine's Party at their house. The kids play games, earn tickets and redeem them for prizes. These dies are going to be perfect for making my parents some new tickets but also perfect to use on a layout for some pictures of my kids at one of the previous parties.

Here is a close up of one of the Stitched Button Dies as well as the Fun Ticket Dies and Fun Ticket stamp set.

I also made a card with the Fun Ticket Stamps and Dies. My work had recently given me a movie theater gift card so I could take my family to a movie. I wanted to send them a thank you card for it and I thought the thank you ticket would be perfect on a bucket of movie theater popcorn.

This popcorn shape card is my entry for the current Peachy Keen Anything Goes Challenge. I LOVE the way this ticket stamp and die looks on my shape card. The popcorn bucket is from the County Fair Cricut cartridge. I added some Peachy Keen Stamps The Cornies faces to the extra buttery pieces of popcorn. As I was working on this card it seemed to me that I had seen someone else use these same faces on some popcorn before. I thought it was probably Gigi the CricutBug so I just went to her blog to check and it was. She did a darling little movie night gift bag that you should check out (HERE). 

And one last little thing I did using these stamps and dies...

Some 'free treat tickets' for my parents to include in their Valentine's for their grandkids. We all live close by so when they come and redeem their ticket mom & dad will have a yummy treat for them.

Valentine Gift Bag

Hello crafting friends. Today is 3D Wednesday over at My Creative Time and we were supposed to recycle something. I love to reuse bags that people give me gifts in instead of throwing them away.

I had fun using a lot of Emma's most recent release for this. The 'lots of love' and 'be my Valentine' sentiments are both from the Lots of Love stamp set. The 'XOXO' came from the Chocolate Greetings stamp set. I used the Stitched Scallop Heart Die and the darling little Stitched Heart Layering Dies too. I can't get enough of this sweet Valentine release.

I also used the ADORABLE January 2013 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps. I can't get enough of these darling bears either. I am submitting this to the current Peachy Keen Stamps photo inspiration challenge.

Hi, I'm just stopping by really quick to show you a card that I made for the current Peachy Keen Challenge. The challenge is to make a card using hearts. I made a heart shaped card.

All of the cut pieces come from the Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge. The Koala cut is normally just the girl koala but I wanted to have a boy koala too so I just copied and flipped the image in my Gypsy. I used the Critter Faces (Medium) stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps. I love how cute they make these images. The sentiment is from Emma's new Lots of Love stamp set.

Other than that I inked the edges with Distress Ink and added some accents with my gel pen. I added Glossy Accents to the noses and eyes and some Trendy Twine for the girl's bow. I hope you enjoyed my card. Hugs- Glora

LOVE Banner

Well I'm back and it is time for another 3D Wednesday at My Creative Time. Today we all made some sort of banner. It could be a large banner, a small banner attached to a card, whatever so long as we included a banner.

I LOVE making banners for holiday decorations. Some are small and go on my door and others are rather large. This one is one of my smaller door banners.

I used lots of fun My Creative Time products for this little banner. Each piece of the banner is made using the Tag Dies as the base. I used the darling Stitched Heart Layer Dies for all the little hearts. I used the beautiful new Stitched Scallop Heart Die set for my 'O'. I also used the following My Creative Time stamp sets for the sentiments on the hearts: Chocolate Greetings and Lots of Love.

I also used stamps from the new January 2013 Stamp Kit of the Month by Peachy Keen Stamps. 

Here is a close up of each piece of the banner.

The letters were cut at 2.5" from the Opposites Attract Cricut cartridge. I also stamped the bears on tan paper and chalked them up for the shading.

I used Glossy Accents on the eyes and noses. For this cute girl bear I used two of the smallest hearts from the Stitched Heart Layering Dies to make her little bow. I just added a small heart shaped rhinestone to finish it off.

 I pop dotted a bunch of the hearts up too. I love the dimension on this in real life. This is probably my new favorite holiday banner.

This bear's face is the only PKS stamp that did not come from the January 2013 SKOTM. This one is from the Critter Faces XL stamp set. 

My banner was strung together with some pretty red and pink twine from Trendy Twine.

I'm kind of hoping you can see the dimension on the banner a little bit better on these last couple of shots.

I'm entering this banner into the current Peachy Keen 3D Challenge which is supposed to include bears in it.
