MCT August Release - Sneak Peek Day 4

Hi My Creative Time fans. Today isn't one of my assigned days to post but I couldn't resist making up a couple of quick cards with today's sets. These sets are the 3x3 Fancy Tri-fold Card and the 3x3 Fancy Envelope.

This first card was made using the tri-fold card die and one of Emma's older sets called Home Sewn. I saw my fellow DT sister Katie make a card with the house in the wagon when the set first came out and I loved the idea and used it here.

This second card was made using the 3x3 Tri-fold card die and one of the sentiments from the stamps that come in this set. The baseball player is from an older set called Grand Slam.

Here is this card with its coordinating envelope. I love that I'm going to be able to make fast and cute 3x3 cards and envelopes to put them in.

My Creative Time - August Release - Sneak Peek Day 1

Hello friends, are you ready for another exciting stamp and die release with My Creative Time? Well it is here and Emma and her Design Team will have projects for you each day this week. Today we all used the stamp set 'Home Sewn' and the 'Stitched Oval Die.'

I made a house shaped card using my Gypsy and the Kate's ABC's Cricut cartridge. I added crepe paper curtains and acrylic windows. I also popped up the front house image with pop dots to add some depth and dimension. I got this awesome idea from a darling card that my Design Team Sister Katie made. You can click HERE to see her beautiful card.

I scored some lines to make it look like the house had siding, I used a mini brad for the doorknob and I stamped some grass. I had a lot of fun making this card. For the inside of the shaped card I used the 'Stitched Oval' die and another awesome sentiment from the 'Home Sewn' stamp set.
