December 25th Christmas Memories Layout

Today is Scrappin' the Little Things at My Creative Time. I have tons of Christmas photos that need to be scrapped so I turned on some Christmas music and scrapped away. I got the basic inspiration for the design of my page from one of the pages in my DCWV Christmas paper pad.

I used lots of My Creative Time products and some pretty paper from DCWV. I used the following My Creative Time Dies: Stitched 3x4 Journal Die, Stitched 4x6 Journal Die and Stitched XL Label Die. I used the following My Creative Time stamp sets: My Journaling (for the journal lines), Cherish This Moment (for Good Memories), Gift Card Sentiments (for Merry Christmas), Treasured Moments (for Life's most precious moments...), and Whimsical Calendar Days.

I hope you enjoyed my layout. Make sure to stop by My Creative Time to see all the other scrappy inspiration. Hugs- Glora

Get Well Soon!

I have a Get Well card that I wanted to share today.

For this card I used The Moodies 1 1/8" by Peachy Keen Stamps and the perfect sentiment comes from the Vintage Sentiments Stamp Set by My Creative Time. I used some pretty DCWV paper as well as some sheer ribbon. The little die that I used as a frame for my "closeup" pictures is called the Stitched Mini Frame and Arrow Dies also by My Creative Time.

PKS August Release Sneak - 3 Little Kittens

Welcome to the 3rd day of Peach Keen Stamps sneak peeks. For my project today I made a card using a new stamps set called I Didn't Do It

The first kitten on the left is made using the face that is included in this set, the other two are using faces from the August 2013 SKOTM. They are a little larger face stamp but I think they still look super sweet on these kittens. I paper pieced and chalked my kitties and then I added some glossy accents to the eyes. The girl kitten in the middle got a little hemp twine bow in her hair. I didn't stamp a sentiment because it was just a note card for a cat loving friend of mine. The paper is from the Pet Mat Stack by DCWV.

I hope you enjoyed this sneak of mine. Make sure to check out the other sneaks on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog. Hugs- Glora

Happy 1st Birthday

This past week we celebrated my little guy's 1st birthday. I cannot believe he has been here a whole year already. The time has really flown by. He is such a sweet boy and is quite content and happy most of the time. We just love him. I made him this card it coordinates with a treat container I made him a couple of weeks ago.

For the Baby I used Life is Good Babies, the '1' stamp is from Baby Buzz Sentiments and the face stamp on the baby comes from the Sweet and Innocent Faces in the 1 1/8" size all from Peachy Keen Stamps. The Happy Birthday sentiments comes from My Creative Time's, Wow So Many Candles stamp set.

Don't judge this too closely, I'm no cake designing pro (plus I always have such a hard time writing with frosting - LOL), but here is the cake that I made him. This is totally not my own idea I got it from HERE.

Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

Happy Birthday Princess with BLING

Hi everyone, there is a new Designer's Challenge over at My Creative Time and we are using BLING for the challenge (glitter, gems, sequins, you name it). This was a fun challenge and I hope you will play along at My Creative Time.

I had WAY too much fun with the bling on this. I used the All Around Birthday Time for the crown and sentiment. I heat embossed the crown in silver. I added a little bit of stickles to the crown as well as some adhesive gems. I also used the Scallop and Stitched Circles by My Creative Time. The glittery pink and purple papers are by Core'dinations. The blue is by DCWV. I added a few sequins and gems at the bottom too. This is a super BLINGY and fun birthday card for a girl.

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog so you can join in this fun challenge too! Hugs- Glora

Skatin' By to Say Hi!

***If you are looking for the Peachy Keen Stamps Thankful Hop click HERE or scroll down to the next post.***

We were having the most beautiful and warmish sort of fall weather and then POW we were just hit with a ton of snow. It is beautiful, I just kind of prefer it when I'm inside with a cup of Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa. Well it only seemed the fitting weather to share a card I made for one of the challenges over on the Peachy Keen Connection. There is still a little time to join in on the fun challenges, so I hope you will play along.

Isn't this the cutest little penguin? I just LOVE her! She is from the Skatin' By stamp set that was just released at Peachy Keen Stamps. I paper pieced her and added some Stickles and silver gel pen as accents.

Don't forget that the awesome Peachy Sale is still going on too.

And I hope to see you back here on Monday for the start of an awesome My Creative Time stamp and die release.

Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen Challenge - Anything Goes

Hi, it is time for another Peachy Keen Challenge and this one is an Anything Goes challenge, so what are you waiting for, pull out your favorite Peachy stamps and submit something over at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

I made an easel card for my project.

For this card I used the Twick or Tweet Birdhouse stamp set and the September 2012 SKOTM. I paper pieced the house and then added some Stickles and Glossy Accents. For the sentiment I ran stamped it, cut it out, ran it backwards through my Xyron sticker maker and then added transparent glitter to it. Then I added Glossy Accents all over on top of that. It took a while to dry since it covered a large area but I LOVE how it looks (it is even cooler in person).

The patterned papers are from a DCWV Halloween stack.

Make sure to stop by the Challenge blog and see what the other designers have made and to link up your own NEW project. Hugs- Glora

Happy Haunting - with the CUTEST Ghosts

Hi! Today I wanted to share a card with some of the cutest little ghost EVER. I love these little cuties!!!

See aren't they ADORABLE? I made up this little card in no time at all and yet it is one of my favorite Halloween cards so far. I stamped and cut out the three little ghosts from the Happy Haunting Ghosts by Peachy Keen Stamps. Then I added some coloring to their mouths and I chalked their cheeks and did some shading with some gray chalk. Easy peasy and so fast. The sentiment comes from the same set but the cool little design around the sentiment is from the September 2012 SKOTM. The orange patterned paper is DCWV and the Ric Rac ribbon is from American Crafts.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that these cute little ghosts made you SMILE! Hugs- Glora

Trick or Treat Spider

Hi! Today I wanted to share with you one of the cards that I made for the challenges over on the Peachy Keen Connection. There are some awesome prizes to be won for participating and there is still a little time to enter. This card is for challenge #2 which can be found HERE.

Isn't that the cutest spider? It is one of the newest Peachy Keen release stamps and it is called Spider and Web and it is currently on SALE. I heat embossed the web with some white embossing powder. I pop dotted the web and then I pop dotted the spider on top of that. The paper for this card is from a DCWV Halloween mat stack. It already came all glittery and just as it is except for the black inking around the edges which I added.

I hope you can join in on the fun over on the Peachy Keen Connection. Hugs- Glora

Items Used:

Peachy Keen Stamps - Spider and Web
