Since all of us have become friends, we are doing our LAST blog hop together making it a "Friendship"  theme.  I hope all of "YOU" thoroughly enjoyed this team as much as we did! Since this is a special day, there will be a giveaway at EACH STOP! Yep, that means we are having a total of 19 giveaways! All you have to do is leave your comments in order to qualify! Emma will announce all the winners on Monday, 12/23//2013 on her blog! Here is what I am giving away today:

Isn't Emma so sweet to donate this stamp set for the hop? She really is a sweet and wonderful person to work with. I've been blessed to work with her on her design team from the very beginning of her My Creative Time stamp line which later turned into a stamp and die line. THANK YOU a MILLION times over for everything Emma!!!! I'm so excited for whoever ends up on her new team. Good luck to all who tried out. You will LOVE working with Emma!

As for the other ladies on the team, they have become like a little crafting family to me. They have supported me in good times and offered prayers of comfort and faith during the difficult times. I can not tell you ladies HOW much I love you all. You will be friends forever. LOVE YOU!!!!

Okay, now onto the hop. You should have come here from the talented Courtney's blog, if not make sure to start at Emma's blog so you can get the whole hop in and have the most chances to win an awesome stamp set.

Peachy Keen Stamps - Warm Witchy Wishes!

Hello Peachy Keen fans today is my day over on the Peachy Keen Blog and I have a Halloween card to share with you.

For this card I used the new Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge for all of the cuts. I hid the face and stamped it with the Simple Sallies Face Assortment. The cute sentiment comes from the Lisa Jean Halloween stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps. I added some inking, gel pen accenting, glossy accents and gold Stickles. All the patterned paper is BoBunny Double Dot. The pretty hemp twine is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

I hope you enjoyed my card and I hope you have a TERRIFIC day. Hugs- Glora

Show Me Your Technique with My Creative Time

Hello crafting friends. Today we are doing another technique mini blog hop at My Creative Time. You should have visited:

Emma ~ My Creative Time
Cindy B ~ Cindy's Scraptastic Designs
and ME ~ Glora's Crafts

If you came here first don't forget to go back and see what Emma and Cindy have in store for you. I'm certain they have some awesome tips and techniques to share with you.

I wanted to share with you one of my favorite tools and techniques for my paper cut images. I especially tend to use this little weapon when I'm in a hurry but want to add just a little more depth and definition to my cuts.

The VersaMarker by Tsukineko.
I'm sure most of you have heard of this but if you haven't it is essentially a watermark pen that will color the cardstock a darker shade of the same color you are writing on. This marker works best on regular colored cardstock. If you are using patterned paper it doesn't always work for accenting. If you are wanting to use it on some patterned paper I would test it out on a little corner of it first to see if it will give you the look you are wanting.

When I want to add a little definition but don't have time to faux stitch or ink everything I just draw around the edges of the cut with my VersaMarker. Here is a picture of the same exact Cricut cut. The one on the left with VersaMarker and the one on the right without.

I tried to make them EXACTLY the same except for the VersaMarker. The extra highlights in her hair and the lines on her dress were also done with the VersaMarker. There was no switching of colors, no sponges, no mess, just quick and easy accenting. If you can draw a line you can use this marker.

Here is the card that I made with this little girl:

The girl was cut from the Fast Food Cricut Lite cartridge. Her face is one of the stamps from the new September 2012 Stamp Kit of the Month by Peachy Keen Stamps. For the perfect sentiments I used My Creative Time's Celebrate Good Times stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed our mini technique hop for the day and I will see you back here tomorrow for another Simply Crafts Challenge! Have a great day! Hugs- Glora
