Wishing You a Fall of Sweet Surprises

It is time for a new Designer Challenge at My Creative Time. The requirement for this challenge is to make something with a 'pumpkin' theme.

I went super simple with my card today but I really love how it turned out.

I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and inked it with some white chalk ink. I added a couple of pieces of grosgrain ribbon and then I added some My Creative Time products. I used the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies along with the All Around Halloween stamp set.

I hope you will take a look at the other projects on the My Creative Time blog and join in the challenge too. Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

More Baptism Cards

Well I have some more simple baptism cards to share. You will probably see a few more of these as there are still about 4 or 5 more children that will be baptized this year.

I used a floral embossing folder, some prima flowers, adhesive pearls, and a little ribbon. I also used My Creative Time's Stitched Oval Die along with the Many Greetings Stamp set. Have a wonderful Sunday!

For this one I used another Cuttlebug Embossing folder. I used the same baptism sentiment stamp by My Creative Time. I added some butterflies from a die that comes in the Chunky Jar Accessories set.also by My Creative Time. I folded up their wings for some extra dimension. Then I tied it off with some purple ribbon.

My Creative Time's July Stamp release BLOG HOP!

Well it has been a fun release week with tons of sneaky peek inspiration. I've enjoyed seeing all the beautiful sneak peek projects and I hope you have too. Well today all of these beautiful stamps and dies are available for sale and we are hopping! If you came here from the sweet and talented Miss Katie's blog than you are in the right spot. If not, make sure you start back at Emma's so that you don't miss out on a single bit of inspiration and lots of chances to win some beautiful dies.

For my projects I got to use the All Around Christmas stamp set along with the beautiful Scallop Die and Stitched Circle Die combo. I tried to do a couple of projects to show you how versatile these dies and stamps can be. First I made up some ornaments. My children have a little Christmas tree and we will hang these on it at Christmas time.

Here are some pictures of a set of the ornaments I made. I actually made two of each while I was at it. They are going to look so cute on their little tree.

I also wanted to use one of the stamps to make my own wrapping paper and then I used the dies to make a coordinating gift tag/card.

Did you notice that one of the edges of the gift card/tag is straight? That is because I used the scallop circle die to make a mini-shaped card. Below is a picture of it opened up. I really like this idea for gift tags.

Here is a look at this whole set of stamps:

Anyway, I've kept you long enough. So thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my projects.

I had this thought of making some cute little Thanksgiving hangings. It's just waiting for the perfect frame. I'm planning on making one with the bears dressed up as pilgrims too.  There just aren't enough cute Thanksgiving decorations.

You're the Best!

Another Disney card :). I must have Disneyland on my mind... too bad I won't be back there for a few more months. I made this card for three different challenges. I thought that the elements of each challenge would combine nicely... so here it is. (I couldn't get the one bling Mickey to photograph well, so this is the best one I got).

Made by Momo's Tuesday challenge asked for white, black and one other color. Cricut Cardz wanted scallops. And Always Scrappin' Whimsical Wednesday Challenge wanted buttons brads and/or bling.

For this card I used the EK Success Mickey Mouse border punch, Mickey Font for the Mickey head and Mickey Font and George combined with my sweet Gypsy to make the Mickey scallop. I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, some bling, and some string.

Adorable Tear Bear

I finally got a chance to play with the adorable Peachy Keen - CottageCutz Tear Bear. It is SO cute and the creative possibilities are endless. I LOVE adorable, cuddly, little bears and wanted to make mine soft and cuddly too. Isn't she sweet?

Here is a close up where you can see the soft fun flock on the sweet little bear.

This card was made using the Peachy Keen - Cottage Cutz Tear Bear die and coordinating stamps. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the background paper and to cut out my die. I used my Xyron to apply adhesive and fun flock to the bear. I stamped the face with Staz-on ink and it stamped but it was a little bit too faint, because of the fun flock, so I used my bic ultra thin pen to carefully darken in the cute stamped face. I chalked the edges of the bear and added some blush and pink to the inner ears. I also added a stamped sentiment and some ribbon.

If you are interested below is a little more information on using your Xyron to apply glitter or fun flock:
I have enjoyed using my Xyron to apply glitter and fun flock before but on occasion a piece will come out without adhesive covering it completely. When that happened I thought I had to recut the piece and try running it through the Xyron again to get good coverage. I watched an awesome video by Kimberly at My Craft Spot that suggested just adding a little tape adhesive to the unapplied area. I tried it because a couple of my pieces didn't come out completely covered and it worked like a charm. If you are interest in seeing a video tutorial on this process click on this link. She does an awesome job.

Cuttlebug Thank You Card

This is the most simple thank you card. However, I think it has a nice look to it. I only used my Cuttlebug, a white ink pad and a paper trimmer. How simple is that? Have a great day!

Mickey Mouse Icon Window Card

This is a fun and simple window card.

I used the Mickey Font cartridge for the Mickey Mouse icon. I cut a circle from George and Basic shapes and then I used my Cuttlebug to emboss Happy Birthday in the middle of the card. I used a sponge and some pink ink for the happy birthday circle. This is a picture of the card when it is open.

I used the extra brown piece from the window card to make a seal for the envelope.

Mickey Celebrates

This is a super simple birthday card made with some of the Disney Cuttlebug embossing folders (this set comes with two embossing folders and is called Mickey Celebrates). For this card I started with the ribbon and picked out cardstock to match the confetti.  I embossed Mickey's birthday celebration and then lightly ran my white cloud ink pad over the top of it. I think this helps the embossed images pop out more. I rounded the corners with my corner rounder and voila - a quick and easy card.

Paperdoll Birthday Cards

I have been playing around with some of my Cricut paperdolls and my Peachy Keen face stamps. There are always lots of birthday cards to make, so I thought I would make a few in advance. Enjoy!
