Christmas Tags for Christmas in July

Over at Peachy Keen Stamps we are celebrating Christmas in July all month long. Yay, I might actually have some cards and tags ready to go this year.

I had fun using some of the oldie but goody Christmas sets by Peachy Keen Stamps to make up these tags:

For the tag base I used a die by My Creative Time called Just Tags. I LOVE this die. I also added some twine from The Twinery to the top of each tag.

Here are some close ups:

These cute little boy and girl penguins are from the Penguin Doll Set. Kathy make some of the cutest penguins ever. I colored these two penguins up with Tim Holtz Distress Markers and then did the blue outline with one of my Copics.

This sweet little ginger is from the Gingerbread Boy stamp set. This fun set comes with 3 different face options for the gingerbread boy. It is such a fun set. I colored this one up with my Copic markers.

And Last of ALL:

Santa! Isn't that one of the sweetest Santa images you have seen? I absolutely LOVE this set as well. It is called Peachy Keen Santa Set. This was also colored with my Copic Markers.

I hope you enjoyed my Christmas Tags. Merry Christmas in July! Hugs- Glora

PKS Sneak Peeks Day 3

Well we are already on day 3 of sneak peeks for Peachy Keen Stamps newest release. Aren't these babies and farm animals the CUTEST? I hope you have been enjoying the sneak peeks as much as I have.

For my projects today I made some bookmarks for my girls

All the stamps come from the May 2013 SKOTM. I just love these farm animals SO much! They have such cute accessories too! I colored them both with Copics. I added some ribbon and some hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.  The tags, hearts and banner's are all dies by My Creative Time and you can find them in her store HERE.

There is also this awesome circle with a heart in the SKOTM. It is actually meant to be a wheel for the wagon/stroller but I thought it would make a cute background for either a wedding or anniversary card. So here is my CAS card that took about 5 minutes to make and everything stamped on it is from the May 2013 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps too.

Make sure to stop by the PKS blog to see what other awesome projects the other designer's have for you. Have a great evening! Hugs- Glora

My Creative Time December Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time December Release Blog Hop. If you came here from the talented Cindy B's blog than you are in the right spot if not make sure to start back at the My Creative Time Blog to get the full blog hop in.

For my project I made a coordinating card and envelope. I have a sweet crafting friend Amanda that does this all the time. I love the look and wish I took the time to coordinate my cards and envelopes more often.

The A2 sized background was made using the new Love Collage. The darling little stitched hearts are the new Stitched Heart Layering Dies, The postage stamp shape behind the girl is the new Stitched Postage Frame Die. And last but not least from the new release is the sentiment from the envelope. It is from Emma's new Chocolate Greetings stamp set.

The little girl image is actually an angel from the January 2012 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps. I just cut off her wings and halo to make it a little girl. The cute little rose in her hair is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

Thanksgiving Prayer

Happy Monday! It is my day to post over on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog and I wanted to share a Thanksgiving card that I made. I truly have so much to be thankful for and this Thanksgiving prayer just says it beautifully.

I used the Lil' Tweets - Thanksgiving set for the sentiment and the bird. I colored him with some Copic Markers and did a little accenting with my Sakura Gelly Roll pen. The Thanksgiving prayer is mounted on the XL Label Die by My Creative Time (there is also a little sneak peek of a new die coming out soon). I added a wooden button and some hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique to my bow. Then I finished it off with a little faux stitching around the edges.

I hope you all will have a safe and happy Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Hugs- Glora

For this all of my patterned paper comes from My Mind's Eye. The darling reindeer and sentiment came from the November 2012 Stamp Kit of the Month by Peachy Keen Stamps. I stamped on some dark Kraft colored paper and then colored with some Copics and chalks. I did a little accenting with my white Gelly Roll Pen and made the silver bells really SILVER with a silver Gelly Roll Pen.

Thankful For YOU!

Sorry that this has been a very light crafting week. Life just happens sometimes and other things have to come first. Today I wanted to share with you a card that I made for one of the Peachy Keen Stamp Challenges over on the Peachy Keen Connection.

I'm SO in love with the new October 2012 Stamp Kit of the Month over at Peach Keen Stamps. This little chipmunk reminds me of the little Disney chipmunk named Dale. I thought he would really cute pulling a HUGE acorn for his Thanksgiving meal. I colored on Kraft Cardstock with Copics and Chalks. Then I added some Glossy Accents here and there. For the background I clear embossed the pretty Oak Leaves and Acorn Background stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps. The twine is from Trendy Twine. Have a terrific day and don't forget about my follower giveaway for my blog anniversary (HERE). Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen Challenge - Anything Goes

Hi, it is time for another Peachy Keen Challenge and this one is an Anything Goes challenge, so what are you waiting for, pull out your favorite Peachy stamps and submit something over at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

I made an easel card for my project.

For this card I used the Twick or Tweet Birdhouse stamp set and the September 2012 SKOTM. I paper pieced the house and then added some Stickles and Glossy Accents. For the sentiment I ran stamped it, cut it out, ran it backwards through my Xyron sticker maker and then added transparent glitter to it. Then I added Glossy Accents all over on top of that. It took a while to dry since it covered a large area but I LOVE how it looks (it is even cooler in person).

The patterned papers are from a DCWV Halloween stack.

Make sure to stop by the Challenge blog and see what the other designers have made and to link up your own NEW project. Hugs- Glora

My Creative Time Gift Tag

Hello My Creative Time fans today I am guest designing for the super sweet and talented Miss Emma. I'm so glad that she has been able to have this time to be with her family while Baby Aaron has been recovering.

Today I have a tag to share with you. A friend of mine recently had surgery and I wanted to drop her off a loaf of banana bread with this tag attached to it.

I LOVE how well My Creative Time products work together. It made this tag a piece of cake to make and I think it will really brighten my friend's day. I used the Tag Dies for the tag, the flower image is from the Bloom Where You are Planted stamp set, and the sentiment is from Pain Pain Go Away.

I started with white cardstock and I colored the image with Copic Markers then I inked up the background with Tim Holtz Distress Ink. To finish it off I used some orange twill ribbon and just a bit of bakers twine.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will continue to keep Emma and her family in your thoughts and prayers! Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen Stamps June 2012 SKOTM Sneaks

Hello Peachy Keen fans. Have you been LOVING all the June 2012 Stamp Kit of the Month sneaks you have been seeing? I know I have. This set is AWESOME and all of the design team members have come up with so many wonderful ways to use these stamps.

I have two cards to share with you today EXCLUSIVELY using the June 2012 Stamp Kit of Month. I didn't use any of the add on sets for either of these.

Isn't that just the cutest frog? There are two faces for it so you can make some darling little girl or boy frogs. I paper pieced these frogs using paper by DCWV - Nana's Nursery. The bellies were colored with Copics and I put chalk on the cheeks and glossy accents on the eyes. Pretty simple. All of the paper on this card is from the DCWV - Nana's Nursery mat stack.

And here is my second card...

I cannot tell you how in LOVE I am with these cute turtles and their ADORABLE little faces. I'm certain I will be using these faces for a lot more critters to come. For my top sentiment I did a little masking to get this sentiment and the Thank You is on this set as well. I colored my turtles with Copics and used X-Press It Blending Cardstock. All of the patterned paper is from the DCWV - Lemon Flower mat stack.

Make sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Stamps blog to see the rest of the sneak peeks for today. I know you will LOVE what these AMAZING ladies came up with. Have a PEACHY day! Hugs- Glora

MCT April Release Sneak Peek Day 2

Hello My Creative Time friends and welcome to day 2 of Emma's new release. I am having TOO much fun using this new release. Today we are featuring an awesome large stamp set with beautiful floral images and sentiments. I got a little carried away and made a few different cards to have on hand. This set is called Bloom Where You are Planted.

This sweet bunch of sunflowers just made me smile when I saw them. I could NOT resist coloring them up! I think it will make a sweet thank you card to have on hand.

This one was made using both of the pretty rose images and a perfectly coordinated sentiment.

And here is the last one that I made.

This little flower reminded me of one of the flowers on Alice in Wonderland. I just had to add a sweet little Peachy Keen Face to it (Simple Sallies - the smallest size in the assortment pack). I love how the flower petals look like her hair and the leaves look like her little hands.

Peachy Keen Stamps April Stamp of the Month Sneak Peek

Hello Peachy friends. We are starting sneak peeks on yet another AWESOME stamp of the month set by Peachy Keen Stamps. There are SO many possibilities with this set and I can't wait for you to see everything everyone on the design team has made. Make sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Stamps blog for different sneaks Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

I made a birthday card for my nephew. I think he is going to LOVE this! It is a tall card to fit inside a business size envelope.

Isn't that grandfather clock image AMAZING? Not to mention the beautiful sentiments. And did you notice that beautiful number patterned paper well that is a new background stamp called What Time is It? that is going to be available too. Isn't it perfect? I'm SO in love with it. I stamped my clock on kraft and then colored it with Copics. I put some acetate on the parts of the clock that would be glass. It love how the acetate looks in person.

My DT sister Heather did a card with this same grandfather clock image and she put a banner on the top and the bottom  just like I did (I'm not sure when she will be posting hers but make sure to look for it, it is awesome). I did NOT copy her on purpose in fact I had completely forgotten that she had done it until I looked at her card again, OOPS, sorry Heather, it was a great idea and I'm happy to give you the credit of thinking of putting the banners that way first.

Make sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Stamps blog to see what the other Design Team members have for you to look at. You are going to LOVE it!!!! Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

I just LOVE a beautiful rainbow. I especially love it when I see a double rainbow, have you ever seen those? They are so pretty and have you noticed that the rainbow underneath has the colors in reverse order (violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, red)? I just LOVE them! Anyway, I just wanted to share a quick card and wish you all a very happy St. Patrick's Day.

For this card I used the February 2012 Stamp of the Month stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps and the darling sentiments are from My Creative Time's Just a Little Note to Say stamp set. I colored the rainbow with Copics and then added lots of Crystal Stickles. I love how sparkly it is. I inked up the edges of the clouds with blue ink and used some clear sparkle paint on them and then added some Stickles on their noses. I added a few strands of colorful twine and some stitching with my gel pen and I was done.

Have a terrific St. Patty's Day and don't forget to wear some GREEN!!!! Hugs- Glora

They are made with winter gloves, paper, microwave popcorn. I COMPLETELY and TOTALLY got this idea from Emma herself. HERE is her original project and the details on how she made it.

Here are some closeups of each of these:

Both of the beautiful sentiments are from the You are Perk-fect stamp set and the BEAUTIFUL 4" faces are from Peachy Keen Stamps. The face in the picture above is called 4" Snowman Face with Happy Lashes and Tongue Out.

Have a Sham-Rockin' Day!!!!

I've made a VERY simple note card for you today.

This little cutie shamrock (with all its perfect stitching) is from the February 2012 Stamp of the Month set by Peachy Keen Stamps. I think he is just too cute! I added an Action Wobble to the back of him so that he could wobble around, in fact my 3 year old has tested him out A LOT already. Did you know that Peachy Keen Stamps sell Wobbles? You can check them out HERE. They really make for a fun and interactive card. Children love wobble cards, but I've found that adults have a blast with them too. The perfect sentiment for my rocking shamrock comes from My Creative Time's I Believe in Leprechauns stamp set.

I've added just a SHORT video for those of you who haven't seen an Action Wobble in action before...

Peachy Keen Challenge #5

Today is the start of another Peachy Keen Challenge. We are making 3D projects that have to do with the weather (no cards and no layouts).

I made a sweet little spring gift box.

I used the Spring Holiday Cards Cricut cartridge for the box. I just made the box as large as I could on my Gypsy. It turned out to be a very nice size. The scallop and circle are from the Mini Monograms Cricut cartridge. And this adorable little spring chicken and umbrella are from a set called Shower Peepers. This is one of those darling stamp/ die combos that Peachy Keen Stamps and Cottage Cutz make together. This little chickie was just too cute not to make up for the weather theme.

I tried something new for me, I cut everything on white cardstock and colored her with Copics and some chalk. My friends Lorie and Janice do this A LOT and I wanted to give it a try. I really love the extra depth and dimension it adds to the dies, I will definitely be trying this again.

I hope you will join in on this fun PKS challenge and I'm really looking forward to some of the sweet spring rain! Hugs- Glora
