Woof Woof Happy Birthday!

Hello friends, today my crafty friend Pam and I are doing our monthly cut challenge. I picked this month and decided to use a cartridge that I haven't used in quite a while. I chose a cute little doggy and balloon from the Paper Pups Cricut cartridge.

I used several different products for this one. The cloud background is made with My Creative Time's Cartoon Cloud Background stamp. The little speech bubble is from the Stitched Round Speech Bubble Dies by My Creative Time. The birthday sentiment is from the February 2012 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps. The 'woof!' sentiment is from the Hillbilly Holler Dog by Peachy Keen Stamps. I used Sakura Gelly Roll pens for my faux stitching. The grass is from the Sports Mania Cricut cartridge and I used a Versamarker to accent the edges.

Make sure to check out Pam's blog to see what she did with this cut. Click HERE to go to her blog. Hugs- Glora

MCT February Release Sneak Peek Day #1

Hello My Creative Time friends. Today Emma and some of the design team members are showing sneak peeks at a darling set called Happy Hunting. This set has some darling images and sentiments. I had a lot of fun making a coordinating card and envelope, a sweet crafting friend of mine, Crafts Manda from AT Home Ink always makes coordinating cards and envelopes so this project is very much inspired by her. Anyway, I hope you like it.

The card is approximately 4x4" and I wanted it to look like it matched/coordinated with the little one that fits on the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies. So yes, this Happy Hunting stamp set comes with the darling little bunny and round sentiment that fits on the Scallop and Stitched Circle Die and it also comes with this adorable matching and larger sized bunny, plus some bigger sentiments and such as well. Isn't this bunny a cutie? The sentiment is normally straight but I just curved the sentiment on my stamping block to make it go around in a circle.

Halloween Window Card

My Creative Time had another Throwback Thursday Challenge. This challenge was to use a frame and to use Paper Doll Dress Up. I love this cartridge and I had a lot of fun with the challenge. I took Emma's idea of doing a lift up shaped frame and then I made it into a trifold card. This is what it looks like a folded up.

Then when you lift the spider web this is what you see...

Then when you pull down the spider flap you get this...

The pictures didn't turn out the best, so watch this video below. I used coredinations couture cardstock and all of that glitter doesn't photograph too well, but it is really fun to work with.

I used some Peach Keen fall face stamps that are discontinued now, but they made for some super cute faces on the ghost and the spider.

NSD #4 "I Like You Least"

For this challenge we were supposed to use our least favorite cartridge we have. I used Paper Pups. It was given to me and I just hadn't ever gotten around to using it. I actually really liked the pup I cut out and my girls loved it, so we might be using this cartridge more in the future.

The cuttlebug embossing folder is Divine Swirls and the doggie is popped up with pop dots.
