Baptism Cards

I figured these cards were good to share on a Sunday. I work with the children in my church on Sundays in what we call Primary. When these children get baptized I like to give them a special little card.

Here is one of my simple boy ones. I used the Inspired Heart Cricut cartridge for this card. I also used the Many Greetings stamp set by My Creative Time.

And here is a simple girl one (sorry the angle isn't terrific). I took a few quick pictures before taking the card to her and this was the 'best' one. I borrowed this card's design from the beautiful baptism card that my talented sister-in-law made for my daughter's baptism.

For this card I again used the Many Greetings stamp set along with the Vintage Stitched Label Die. I used some adhesive pearls, Prima Flowers, satin ribbon and the BloomDot Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

Congratulations - Missionary Card

Happy Sunday. I just wanted to share a 'religious' type card with you really quick. My nephew is going to be a missionary for our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). He will be going to the state of Washington. I wanted to make him a card to congratulate him.

This card was VERY easy. I used the Inspired Heart Cricut cartridge and some My Creative Time stamps and dies. The die is from the Vintage Stitched Label Dies and the sentiment is from the Gift Card Sentiments.

Anyway, a simple and easy shape card that did that was exactly what I was looking for. Have a wonderful and peaceful Sunday. Hugs- Glora

Congratulations on Your Baptism

I have made a couple of baptism cards lately. This girl one is for a sweet lady in my neighborhood that was baptized and joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I must admit that this one is my favorite of the two cards.

This next card is for my nephew who just turned eight and is being baptized on Saturday. The image is from the Inspired Heart Cricut cartridge. It lends itself to very simple cuts, but it is perfect for my nephew and this special occasion. The sentiment is from the Faithful Sayings stamps designed by My Pink Stamper.

Oh Come Let Us Adore Him

Merry Christmas to all of my papercrafting friends. I wanted to share my religious Christmas card. I'm so thankful that today we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. Christmas blessings to you all!

This is a window card. I hid the outer layer of the cut in my Gypsy. The second sheet is attached with a thin line of adhesive. It is patterned on one side and white on the other and makes it perfect for writing inside the card. Here is a picture of what I'm talking about. Diane at Capadia Designs does a great job with this. She has an awesome step by step photo tutorial on how to do this. You should definitely check it out.
