Angelica's Farewell Blog Hop

Hello friends. Today we are having a blog hop to wish our sweet friend Angelica good luck in her new endeavors. We also wanted to thank her SO much for all that she has done for those of us on the Peachy Keen design team. She has been a joy to work with and I'm thankful to have her as a friend. You should have arrived here from DoBea's blog. If not make sure that you get the whole blog hop in by starting at the Peachy Keen Stamps blog.

I will just tell you a little bit about the products I used to make this card and send you on your way. I used the Shower Peepers dies by Peachy Keen Stamps and CottageCutz. I colored her up with Copics and Chalks. I added a bow with hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. The 'thank you' sentiment is from the PKS Gnomegrown stamp set. I cut the grass from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge and the awesome stitched clouds are a die from the Fly Away With Me Dies by My Creative Time. I think that is about it, other than THANK YOU so MUCH Angelica and BEST of LUCK!

Your next stop on the hop is Erin.

Here is the full line up in case you get lost along the way...

Wishing Your Day is Colorful, Bright and Cheerful

Hi friends, I just wanted to share the Easter spinner card that I made during my Everyday Cricut guest designer week!

For a spinner card you basically turn the little notch at the bottom and change it to the next image. Here is the first face for my bunny spinner card:

The face here is from a stamp set called Wide Eyed Kids by Peachy Keen Stamps and the perfect sentiment is from My Creative Time's Happy Hunting stamp set.

When  you turn the little knob at the bottom this is the second face you will see:

This beautiful polka dot paper is from Doodlebug Design and is called Petite Prints. I had a super sweet crafty friend send this to me and I'm totally in love with it. If you love polka dots you will have to look into this paper.

When  you turn the knob the final time this is what you will see:

The face stamps I used for the last two are called Happy Lashes by Peachy Keen Stamps. And I just love how Emma's Happy Hunting sentiment ties it all together.

This is a standard A2 sized card meaning 4.25" x 5.5". The bunny is from the Simply Charmed cartridge, and the card base is from the Wild Card Cricut cartridge. I also got the grass and eggs from the Everyday Paper Doll Cricut cartridge. I inked ALL of the pieces with similar colors as the paper and did lots of stitching with my Sakura Gellyroll pen. I tied a couple of twine bows with twine I got from a company called Trendy Twine and that was it.

IF you are interested in the picture tutorial I made just click on the link below:

Bike Birthday Card

Hi, I just wanted to share real quick a card that I made for my nephew's birthday.

The bike cut comes from the Boys Will Be Boys Cricut cartridge. The bush in the background is from Everyday Paper Dolls. And that beautiful cloud background is a BEAUTIFUL new background stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps called Cloudy Day. Isn't it perfect?! I can see myself using this one for all sorts of scene cards. The darling birthday sentiment is from Emma's Wow, So Many Candles stamp set. And then I added just a bit of doodling and accents with my Sakura White Gellyroll Pen.

I hope you are having a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

MCT February Release Sneak Peek Day #3

Happy Wednesday and welcome to day 3 of sneak peeks of the February stamp release over at My Creative Time. Aren't you loving these sets so far? They are ADORABLE! I'm totally in love with every single stamp, I think Emma REALLY outdid herself this time.

Today, I think you will see some pretty classy and beautiful projects, mine however, is a little on the fun side of things. I saw these darling egg dies that come with this Hello Spring set and my mind starting thinking of all sorts of possibilities with them. They are going to be USED a lot this year I'm certain. One of the fun and crazy ideas was to make some little 'EGG' people and so here is my egg people card.

I know they are silly, but I LOVE them! I can't help it they make me SMILE. The beautiful stitched egg is the die that comes with the Hello Spring set and the darling flower and swirl patterns on the eggs are stamps that come with this set and coordinate perfectly with this die. The perfect sentiment for my egg card is from the Happy Hunting stamp set that we showcased on Monday. I stamped the sentiment onto Emma's Stitched Oval Die. The cute hands and legs for these eggs come from the February 2012 Stamp of the Month by Peachy Keen Stamps and the faces are also by Peachy Keen Stamps - Simple Simons and Simple Sallies. I cut the grass from Everyday Paper Dolls and the clouds from Create a Critter.

Monday Madness... Imagine That (Congratulations on Your Baptism)

Hello My Creative Time friends and welcome to another Monday Madness... Imagine That. For these projects we always make something with our Imagine Machines or something Imagine like if we don't have an Imagine. I don't have an Imagine so I used patterned paper and a background stamp to make my card Imagine like.

Emma had asked us to use the colors chocolate, teal and red. I also got to use her Many Greetings stamp set. I LOVE this set because it has a little bit of EVERYTHING on it! This was PERFECT timing for using this stamp set too because my daughter just got baptized on Saturday and it had the perfect sentiment for that. The girl on this card may look a little older than you might expect for a baptism card, but in my church children don't get baptized until they are 8. My little paper doll's darling face is from the Happy :Lashes Face Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. I also did some clear embossing on her dress with the Sweet Lace background stamp by Market Street Stamps. I really love the white on white effect it gives.

Make sure to hop on over to Emma's blog to see what she and some of the designers have for you today! Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

Birthday Boy Balloon and Winner

***If you are looking for my project for the Whimsical Wednesday Challenge scroll down of click HERE***

Hi friends. Today, I'm sharing a birthday card for one of my nephews but also my entry for the Let's Face it Friday Challenge over at the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog.

I made a shaped card with a hot air balloon shadow off of the Pop-Up Neighborhood Cricut cartridge. I cut all the balloon layers out at the 5.25" size. I cut the little boy out of the Everyday Paper Doll Cricut cartridge and he was cut at 1.75" and luckily my very smallest size of Winter Wonderland face stamps (from Peachy Keen Stamps) fit him perfectly. I also added lots of faux stitching with my Gellyroll pens. The darling sentiment and dinosaur are from Emma's new All Around Birthday Time stamp set and the circle it is stamped on is the circle die from her Scallop & Stitched Circle Die set.

I also wanted to announce the winner from my stop on the My Creative Time Blog Hop.

The winner is:

TyTynNiyasmom

she said: What a cute banner! I love all the details you put into it. Candace

I have already contacted her and the All Around Accessories set will be on its way to her VERY soon.

Thanks for stopping by today. Make it a beautiful day! Hugs- Glora

Cricut Banner

**If you are looking for Gilby's Makeover walk scroll down or click HERE**

I'm sure a lot of you have heard about the Cricut Banner contest. The contest was to make a banner with the word CRICUT. There are supposed to be 5 winners of the new E2 Cricut Machine and many of the banners will be shown on HSN on Monday, September 26th. I don't have cable so if you happen to see my banner let me know ;).

When I heard about the contest I had a couple of ideas but only got one of them made and turned in before the deadline. Here is a full picture of the banner, you can always click on a picture if you want to see it close up, but I will include some closeups as well:

Close up of left side:

Close up of right side:

Close up of the letters only:

These banner pieces are from Birthday Bash and are cut at 5.5". I included LOTS of stitching...

And now to my VERY favorite part of the banner... The Cricut LOVING banner girls. Here is the brunette:

This cute brunette was cut at 9.5" and is about 10" tall assembled. Her face is a Peachy Keen face I bought on clearance last year (discontinued). It is a BIG face and fits this darling banner girl PERFECTLY!!! She is holding her lovely Cricut green Gypsy and her darling Creative Genius shirt was a bonus stamp that Emma gave out with one of her stamp releases.

Now onto our adorable blondy:.

This cutie is a quite the paper princess. Her cute sentiment on her crafty shirt came from Emma's Paper Princess stamp set. She has another huge Peachy Keen Face that I picked up on clearance last year (discontinued). Can I say I'm SO glad I bought these last year!!! You could get very similar faces, just a little bit smaller with the 7-9"  Basic Paper Doll Faces from Peachy Keen Stamps. Anyway, she has her Baby Bug Cricut with her and is ready to play with some paper because that is what makes her HAPPY!

I had a BLAST making this and I LOVE how it turned out. I plan on making one to put in my craft room when I get some spare time - LOL! I hope you enjoyed it!

Sneak Peek #1 - My Creative Time - September Stamp Release

Hello My Creative Time friends. Today is the start of another awesome stamp and die release from My Creative Time. Today we are showcasing the stamp set called Game Night. My family is really into playing games together. We have all sorts of fun board games and I lovingly refer to my mom as the Yahtzee Queen. So with today's set I thought it would be fun to make a game night invitation, something that I would actually love to make for our next big family game night.

Doesn't this little cutie look excited to play Bingo? This girl cut is from the Beyond Birthday's Cricut cartridge (she is on button #4 across the top of the overlay or on page 93 of the booklet). She is just supposed to be a silhouette image, but I thought it would be fun to cut her out three times, once in peach, once in yellow polka dots, and once in brown. From there I hand cut the dress, hair and barrette. I must admit that I did not like the way the hair turned out the first time so I used part of a hairdo from the Everyday Paper Doll Cricut cartridge to make it look better. The face is from the Princess Faces stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps. And last but most definitely not least the darling bingo board and sentiment are from Emma's new Game Night stamp set.

I also did the inside of this card up just a little bit:

I want to make sure that you know that the 'Date:' and 'Time:' stamps are NOT on the Game Night stamp set they are from the "Honey Do" List stamp set that has been out for a while. I just thought that they coordinated PERFECTLY on here. See how the fonts match and everything. The darling dies and 'Let's play!' sentiments ARE on the new Game Night set.

Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer - Day 4

Hi and welcome to day 4 of my time over at Peachy Keen Stamps! I'm just LOVING every minute of it! I hope you are too! For today's back to school project I made an altered frame to display my daughter's 1st day of school picture.

I had so much fun with this project! The darling Peachy Faces I used today are: Critter Faces for the boy and Princess Faces for the girl. I used these faces on cuts from the Playtime Cricut cartridge. I must admit that this cartridge wouldn't have even appealed to me if it weren't for Peachy Keen Face Stamps. I just love how cute they make these little kids.

I also used an old paper punch for the butterflies and hand doodled behind them. I used Emma's new 'Stitched Oval Die' at the bottom of the frame as well as part of a sentiment stamp from her 'Gift Card Sentiments.'

Thanks so much for your sweet comments and support. They mean so much to me! Hugs- Glora

The Blog Candy for this week, which was generously donated by Peachy Keen Stamps, is the new Winter Wonderland Face Assortment.

Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer - Day 2

Hello friends, welcome to day 2 of my Peachy Keen Guest Designer Week. Today is the beginning of a new sketch challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog and I am BEYOND thrilled to be designing along with the Peachy Keen Stamps Design Team. They are so talented, incredibly sweet and wonderful ladies. I am happy to say that I draw much inspiration from each of them and consider them dear friends!

For this sketch challenge there is a twist and that twist is to use BUTTONS somewhere on your project. Sticking with my 'Back to School' theme, I made an altered notebook for my daughter. This will be her 'School Journal' where she can practice her spelling words, write stories, draw pictures, etc.

Here is the beautiful sketch we are working with for this challenge! Don't forget to use BUTTONS when you join in the fun!

Here are a couple of closeups so you can see the details a little better.

Aren't these apples buttons ADORABLE? I fell in love with them and yes, I even stamped one of them with a Simple Sallies face.

I used the Snow Cuties Face for the girl's darling face, I used Simple Sallies for the face on the one little apple and I used the Extra Small Polka Dots for the polka dot print on my girl's shirt (I heat embossed it). All of these beautiful stamps are in the Peachy Keen store.

I also used Emma's My Teacher Rocks! stamp set for both the little note in the girl's hand as well as the homework list on the chalk board. And last, but not least I used the beautiful Woodgrain background stamp from Market Street Stamps for the wood grain on the chalkboard. All of these stamps are manufactured by Peachy Keen Stamps and they are the best quality! I LOVE them!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!!! I appreciate all of you taking the time to support and encourage me. I hope that I do a little of the same in return. Have a wonderful day! HUGS- Glora

Happy Birthday PAM!!!

Yes, that's right, today is a very special day, it is my crafting bestie's birthday. Happy birthday Pam! Pam is so sweet and I'm thankful to have met her. I started following Pam's blog right after it was announced that she had made the My Pink Stamper's very first Design Team. I clicked on her blog and immediately loved it. I believe I was about her 5th or 6th follower, it didn't take long for people to recognize how talented she is,  now she has TONS of devoted followers and rightly so. Anyway, long story short, she is a sweetheart and I'm so glad that we have become friends! I HOPE your birthday is AMAZING Pam!

This is the card that I get to share on her blog today!

This little puppy is supposed to be Pam's female dog Kyla wishing Pam a happy birthday. I wanted to use Pam's favorite color (a dark cranberry/burgundy) and I don't know if she likes turquoise or not, but I thought it coordinated well. I had so much fun adding crepe paper and twine to the gift bag, as well as the darling My Creative Time birthday sentiment. I tried to add a bit of depth and dimension as well but that is hard to see in the picture! Anyway, happy birthday Pam, this card was inspired by you and made for you! Love you tons!

Pam has an AWESOME giveaway today, let me just say that there are several items including a CRICUT CARTRIDGE. So hop on over there and leave her a comment and if you don't yet, you should follower her blog, you definitely WILL NOT regret it! Click HERE to go to Pam's blog.

Good morning and welcome to another fun My Creative Time stamp release and blog hop. If you came here via the talented and sweet Katie's blog (Crafting With Katie) then you are in the right spot, if not make sure you start back at Emma's blog for a whole lot of inspiration and a look at some BEAUTIFUL new stamp sets. These sets are available for purchase NOW, so click HERE and check them out!

Emma asked me to use her new set called "Follow Your Dreams." This set is AWESOME! I absolutely love the cute images and the perfect sentiments. I made my cards with my nephew in mind. He is graduating from high school this year and these are his school colors. The banner is from a different one of Emma's sets called 'My One and Only' but the rest of the stamped sentiment is from 'Follow Your Dreams' even that ADORABLE little diploma he is holding is from that set.

I had such fun playing with the stamps that I ended up making another card in his school colors. Now I will have to decide which one fits my nephews style the best.

Thanks for dropping by and make sure you hop along to every stop along the way and make a comment so that you can be entered into the drawing for Emma's adorable little bonus stamp. She is giving one away at each blog stop. Isn't she the sweetest?! You have until Sunday morning, April 24th, to comment and be eligible for the bonus stamp.

Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam

Hello sweet friends! Today is the start of a fun challenge between me and my sweet crafty friend Pam at Simply-Pam. The first Wednesday of each month we are going to challenge each other to make something using a specific cut from a certain cartridge. This fun challenge was Pam's idea and so she chose the cut for this month. The cut is the clothes line from the Straight from the Nest cartridge.

I had to add my own little touch to the clothing by adding a Mickey icon. I also wanted the clothes line to go all the way across and so I changed that a little as well.

The sentiment for my card is from the My Creative Time - Mom You ROCK stamp set. I must admit that doing laundry isn't my favorite part of being a mom but those sweet little girl hugs and kisses make it all worth it. They are the best!

I can't wait to see what the very talented Pam has come up with for our challenge. I hope you will check it out. Pam is SUPER talented and makes BEAUTIFUL cards and projects. Click HERE to go to Pam's blog you won't be disappointed.

Hockey Puck Action Wobble Card

This card is one that I hope I don't need to make again. My niece went to a college hockey game and got hit in the side of the head with a puck that came out of bounds. The poor girl ended up with 30 something stitches and a very sore ear/jaw area. She has been a good sport about the whole thing and we are just thankful that she didn't get hurt worse than she did.

Here is another short video showing the Action Wobble puck.

*Please note that any videos recommended at the end of this are not endorsed by me.

Peachy Keen Stamps Everyday Character Face Parts

Sakura Gelly Roll pen - white

Full Disclosure: I was given the Action Wobbles at no cost to me to review on this blog. However, if I didn't believe in it, I wouldn't be talking it up!

Tennis Birthday Card

My nephew loves tennis. So I made him a tennis birthday card. I am also submitting this for Emma's throwback Thursday challenge, since it is Sports related. I don't have Sports Mania yet, so I had to go with my Everyday Paper Dolls. I love that you can find almost anything you need from Paper Doll Dress Up and Everyday Paper Dolls. I had so much fun making this ball and racket look somewhat real. I added bakers twine for the racket and some electric tape for the racket handle and then some fun flock for the tennis ball to make it fuzzy. I love how it turned out. I hope you like it too.

Here is a side angle to see the bakers twine and fun flock a little closer.

Halloween Tags

I am going to the SLC Swarm tomorrow and they are doing some swaps. One of the swaps is a Halloween tag swap. I had a few different ideas and made six of each and then I ended up choosing my favorite and made an extra 10.

This idea was a pretty traditional tag with a cute bat shape at the bottom and the sentiment bats about you! This one turned out to be my favorite. The bat is from Paper Doll Dress Up. I couldn't decide which way I liked the ribbon best so there are some of each.

One idea was a simple jack-o-lantern tag. The treat pail is from Happy Haunting and I hid it's face and replaced it with a jack-o-lantern face from Everyday Paper Dolls. Then I stamped a Happy Halloween sentiment on the back. I tried adding ribbon and didn't like it, so this is how it ended up.

The next tag was an idea I had about a full moon with the silhouette of a witch flying by. I liked the idea, but since making it have seen several others with the same idea and theirs looked a lot cuter. The witch is from Happy Haunting.

Sending batty hugs your way and best witches for a great day!
