Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer - Day 2

Hello friends, welcome to day 2 of my Peachy Keen Guest Designer Week. Today is the beginning of a new sketch challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog and I am BEYOND thrilled to be designing along with the Peachy Keen Stamps Design Team. They are so talented, incredibly sweet and wonderful ladies. I am happy to say that I draw much inspiration from each of them and consider them dear friends!

For this sketch challenge there is a twist and that twist is to use BUTTONS somewhere on your project. Sticking with my 'Back to School' theme, I made an altered notebook for my daughter. This will be her 'School Journal' where she can practice her spelling words, write stories, draw pictures, etc.

Here is the beautiful sketch we are working with for this challenge! Don't forget to use BUTTONS when you join in the fun!

Here are a couple of closeups so you can see the details a little better.

Aren't these apples buttons ADORABLE? I fell in love with them and yes, I even stamped one of them with a Simple Sallies face.

I used the Snow Cuties Face for the girl's darling face, I used Simple Sallies for the face on the one little apple and I used the Extra Small Polka Dots for the polka dot print on my girl's shirt (I heat embossed it). All of these beautiful stamps are in the Peachy Keen store.

I also used Emma's My Teacher Rocks! stamp set for both the little note in the girl's hand as well as the homework list on the chalk board. And last, but not least I used the beautiful Woodgrain background stamp from Market Street Stamps for the wood grain on the chalkboard. All of these stamps are manufactured by Peachy Keen Stamps and they are the best quality! I LOVE them!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!!! I appreciate all of you taking the time to support and encourage me. I hope that I do a little of the same in return. Have a wonderful day! HUGS- Glora

The Blog Candy for this week, which was generously donated by Peachy Keen Stamps, is the new Winter Wonderland Face Assortment.

If you leave a comment here and on the Peachy Keen Stamps Home page each day this week, you will have up to 10 chances to win these adorable stamps. I will be drawing the winner on Saturday, August 27th. Best of luck!

My Creative Time's June Stamp Release Blog Hop

Welcome to another fabulous My Creative Time stamp release blog hop. If you arrived here from the SUPER talented Katie's blog then you are right where you want to be. If not make sure you go back to Emma's blog and get the full hop in. There are chances to win some awesome prizes so make sure you comment on EVERY single stop along the way.

My card is a little bit of Christmas in July (or almost July) but when I saw this sentiment I just had to make a card with it! I'm a total little kid at heart and I still believe in Santa Claus and the Spirit of Christmas. I hope you enjoy it! Oh and yes, that ADORABLE face is a Peachy Keen face stamp from a set called Happy Lashes.

This full sentiment and frame come from two sets of stamps. Believe is from Inspiring Words and the beautiful frame and 'I still believe in Santa Claus!' sentiment come from the Inspiring Words {Accents}. You can see both sets picture below. (You can click on them to see them enlarged)

And here is a sample page of how you could mix and match the sentiments but the options are pretty much endless.

For blog candy Emma is offering up 11 amazing prizes. There will be a winner picked from each blog and you will have your choice of either a stamp set of your choice or this beautiful new Curly Label die. Just make sure to comment on every stop along the way. You have until midnight on Sunday to comment to be eligible for the prizes.

Your next stop is the AMAZING Leanne. I know she will have something incredible to show you. Click HERE to go to Leanne's blog.

Imagination Monday Design Team Project and Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge

Well my birthday week is over and it is time to go crazy getting Mother's Day and Teacher's Appreciation Day/Week projects going. My sister is celebrating her very first mother's day this year and I had to make a card for that special occasion. Emma's (My Creative Time's)  Mom You ROCK! stamps and the Peachy Keen Challenge combined perfectly for this. I think Emma's stamp looks SO beautiful on here! If you get a chance stop by Emma's blog and see what she and the other Design Team members made.

Now you are probably wondering where the Peachy Keen stamp is. Well, it isn't required for this particular challenge, but there is a Peachy Keen Stamp on here. Do you know what it is? If you guessed the super cute polka dots you are right. I've been eyeing up these lovely polka dots for a while because I LOVE polka dots. Now I can make my own polka dot paper whenever I want. This stamp is not a full A2 size but it lines up perfectly and easily. It only took two times stamping it to cover the whole background. This stamp is called PK-102 Small Polka Dot . I'm loving it!

I'm also entering this into the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge and the My Craft Spot Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.

Items Used:

*A Child's Year Cricut cartridge
*My Creative Time stamps - Mom You ROCK
*Peachy Keen Stamps - Small Polka Dot

Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam #3

Well another month has come and gone. I can't believe it is April already! Anyway, it is the first Wednesday of the month so that means it is time for the cut challenge between me and my crafty friend Pam. This month Pam chose the stick pony cut from A Child's Year Cricut cartridge. We could use either the boy or the girl. I fell in love with the little cowgirl so I went with it. Here is my card.

That cute sentiment is from My Creative Time's Turn That Frown Upside Down set. It was perfect for this card. I also used lots of distress ink to give it a rustic sort of feel.

I hope you will all stop by and see what beautiful creation Pam made. She is SO super talented. Click HERE to go to Pam's blog.

Items Used:
*A Child's Year Cricut cartridge - cowgirl
*Toy Story Cricut cartridge - Rope border frame
*My Creative Time stamps - Turn That Frown Upside Down
*Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Ink
*Adhesive pearls
