The June kit from The Paper Niche

Had a such great time working with the June kit from Paper Niche, love all the Basic Grey papers and the Prima embellishments, and who can not have fun with Tim's grunge alphas and buttons
and FYI you're a kit person you know most places charges more than the retail price on a kit, at The Paper Niche we do not, we discount.

Here is the pages I did, hopefully I'll find time to make some more before I leave on vacation, I sure I have products left over to do so =)

February inspiration

We had a wonderful weekend scrapping with Bea at the Paper Niche this week end. Three days with classes and cropping, It was a working weekend for me, but I had time to play when the store was closed for regular customers.
Here in my inspiration LO for February at Scrapbook Express, lots of stamping and inking
The background is Bazzill stamped and colored in with distressing ink and a waterpen. The stamps are mostly from Tim Holtz, but also Inkadinkadoo and Autumn leaves (on tag)
I have also used Crackle paint, grunge paper and Grunge board. Gold leafing pen, Ribbons from May art, an old music sheet(Thank you Leslie) set rhinestones and a tiny piece of 7Gypsies tape (on back of the fragment)
The pictures here is a little blah..(scanned) I will try to get a better picture later on

Here is some detail pictures. You can click on both of the pictures for a close up. LOVE how the gold leaf pen work and the coloring in of the stamping came out here =)

Happy New Year

WoW it is 2010 already, where did 2009, 2008 and more go
We had a nice and quiet Christmas and New year week, celebrating with family and friends
I got my Maya Road calendar started. It is only the 5th and I already have January finished  I have used Maya Road chipboard and acrylic calendar, Heartwarming Vintage calender cutouts, papers from 7 Gypsies, stamps from 7 gypsies and Tim Holtz, Grungeboard swirl, crackle accents and paint and distressing ink. The snowflakes are from a garland I had on one of my mini Christmas trees.

Yes I know... I love the new papers from 7 Gypsies, I also used them here on this LO I made for the January challenge at Scrapbook Express. It is my inspiration using something recycled on the page. The flowers are made out of old bookpages and the title and swirls are cut out of the back of a sketch pad. This is also my January class at The Paper Niche =)

This ATC I made for a swap at Scrapbook Express in December, using stamps ehhh again 7 Gypsies papers, stamps and tape. Tim Holtz stamps and distressing ink.I have also used Claudine Hellmuth paint LOVE to work with these. We carry them and her mediums at the Paper Niche. It was a grunge swap and all the ATC's I got back was totally awesome. Ill post a picture of them all later

Small promises to myself

My take on the January tote challenge at Bad Girls. I have used the January kit "Ma Petite Maison" Love the Webster papers and the Tim Holtz grungeboards. I have used TH distressing stickles and distressing ink to cover the grungeboards. It is also used on the paper cutouts. The quotes is J Bowlin rub-on quotes. The picture is of course me, self portrait taken at the kitchen table.

Here is some close up details from the page
