Tweety bird

All is lost. I finally gave in and joined Twitter. Sill trying to work out HOW it works but it seems that there are a lot of really interesting people tweeting out there (yeah, I know I´m veery late in this haha!). If you want to check out my nonsense I´m Pralinekaisa. But you have been warned, there really isn´t much to see folks :)
Getting ready for part one of my handstand workshop (part 2 is tomorrow)...excited and a bit anxious how I´ll do since I´ve had a disgusting headache all day. But then again that usually goes away in my hot yoga class so here´s hoping!
Xmas season is starting soon but before I give in...no that´s a lie because I ALREADY GAVE IN and bought lights! that I refurse to call anything else but "winter lights" since this darkness is driving me insane. I was thoroughlly dissapointed when they were only blue-and-white because the package showed these gorgeous lights in pink, green AND blue! So be warned: check out the small print on the box!!!

Halloween!

It´s pumpkin time again! Spent last Saturday with good friends, ate my first raw food vegan pumpkin pie ever (it was REALLY good!) and had spiderwebs in my hair :) I´ll try t post some of the Halloween-themed pictures that we took with Jari here this week, starting with this funny gif he made of me! Seasonal pictures and handstands

Hey Ho (let´go! like the Ramones would say)

Yesterday I had a photoshoot with Jari B. and we took some promo pictures for Halloween and Christmas. One has to be in good time with these things haha! Other than that this week has really been about yoga and finishing touches to the Daisies outfits. I made myself a promise: I´m going to master a handstand before this year is over! Crazy. Especially for me: I have NEVER been able to do it and I have balance-issues. But well, here I found myself signing up for a 2-day handstand workshop! It´s about going to that space of feeling out of your comfort zone and learn new things. And I´m sure I´ll get a good core-workout if nothing else :)

Here are some snaps I took yesterday at the shoot, the final pictures will appear at some point... Oh, and P.S: the Finnish Burlesque Gala is almost sold out so now it´s really time to get those tickets!!!

Sunday

Oh blessed Sunday! After gigs both Friday and Saturday I think today I´ll mostly do absolutely nothing :) Thank you to the organizers and audiences and my girl Sandy for a great night yesterday!   I´m looking forward to seeing photo-evidence from both Turku & Stockholm... Here, however, is one of the Gatsby-inspired ones we took with Saara and Marco a few weeks ago. A huge, warm thank you also to my mother who got me this amazing evening gown! I love you!

Summer shoot

Well, this is what happens when one stands in cold water...I´ve got a terrible summer flue :(  I really hope this would pass ASAP, since I have lots to do before my holidays and really don´t have time to be sick in bed!!! AArgh! Flying with clogged sinuses isn´t on my top ten-list, either... Lots of ginger and honey and chillies, keep your fingers crossed I´ll be fit to fly for Monday when I have my next gig!
Here re some pictures from our photoshoot by the sea on Tuesday. It was nice and warm in the sun but the water was still pretty, hm...refreshing :) Emiliano is working on the results as we speak and they look great! Have a marbellous Thursday and stay healthy!

I was cleaning my desk today and found the cd containing some of the photos I did with Adam Monaghan. I hope to be able to work with him again soon, but here are some unpublished pictures from that day. Adam is not just a friend and a great charming guy, but a very talented photographer as well so if you ever get to see his work someplace you should go! 

This was also the first time I tried this hairdo, pinning it up to create a fake bob. I´ve since used it many times, also with performing. I still prefer to have my hair up on stage, somehow I´m scared of it all get intagled in the costume... I think one of the only exceptions to this is my "Americana" which you will see this Saturday at Teerenpeli ;)

Tomorrow me and Pepper Sparkles are having a photoshoot here at the farm with Emiliano Melantri, can´t wait! Also looking forward to some serious fan dance- pranctice since we are going to perform our duo both at Radisson SAS Mikonkatu on the 23rd of May and then Sauna Open Air-festival in June. Beautiful words

We got this amazing message from (the quite amazing himself) Sir Willy Waterlily. He told us that a friend of his had wanted Thee Dizzy Daisies group-photo,
 - not for herself, but for her daughter. To show this little girl that there is not only one way to look pretty, to teach her real values and a healthy self-esteem.
HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!?! Pepper, Sandy and I were blown away.  


So, to celebrate this I´ll post the photo again. And add one funny one of us as well. Thank you, whoever you are who said this and huge, huge kiss <3 We promise to do our best to be role-models in the future as well.
