Smash* Treat

I took the plunge and sneaked in a couple of Smash* goodies :D Sadly I lost the smallest one to my DD but just adore the Blue one and couldn't wait to play!!!

Wasn't sure what they theme should be so I've decided it will be my creative love book and when the new stick arrives I'll have a pink one for me, travel one for our hols and one each for my kids :D

Ultimate Blog Challenge #7- K & Co Smash*

We are getting very excited at Cullen Crafts with the soon to arrive Smash* range from K & Co, I once was an avid scrapbooker and was under the silly impression when I opened the shop nearly 4 years ago I would be able to scrapbook every week, well in truth I have managed about 4 pages in that time!!!

But hopefully this will all change with the new range Smash* it's a new style of journaling(which I never liked doing) and scrapbooking on the go, there are some fantastic books, pads, embellishments and the fabbi washi tapes so keep your eye out a it should be arriving in the shop in the next week or so :D

I decided to do a layout (shock horror) I was tidying and this pic of The Boy fell out :D I have always adored this pic of him and its been lying around as I really didn't know how to go about it.

Well the other day I came across a quote on facebook that made me smile & when this popped out I knew just what to do!!

I think he was about 7/8, back in the day when I still used my film camera, we where on a walk with my folks and I happen to catch him off guard. It's a shame he's growing up so fast, he'll be 14 in August!!! He's turning into a young man, with a temper and short fuse, hormones are a killer, but at the same time a smart guy with a wicked sense of humour :D

I don't often like my layouts straight away but with this pic it can't help make my heart sing & who says you can't use pink for a boy :D

On A Roll

My craft groove is still kickin in I am delighted to say & today I managed a scrapbook page, I think it's been about 3 years since my last, I know slapped wrist!!!
I've started a real simple canvas as well with some lush butterfly's hopefully ill be able to how you tomorrow if I finish :D

Craft Class Pics

Thought I'd share a couple of pics from our last craft class :) The ladies had a great time and are really up for the next which happens to be Friday 14th Rubber Stamping for beginners and then on Friday 28th there will be a 3D and Beyond class.

This is the new Flock paper from MME :) and named Lush which is very true!!! So lovely to work with and really only need min embellishments.

I scrapbooked!!!!

I know its the second for tonight but I just had to share the fact I done a layout yesterday, I am to chuffed about this purely due to the fact I haven't scraped for a year and a half due to the shop, not that I'm complaining cause I love my shop, my customers and the fact we're doing so well :)
But when the Prima cat came though WOW stunning isn't good enough word to describe how beautifully their team have used the lush products they have. So I decided I would finally work on my most fav pic of No.2 kid!!!

I think its my fav pic down to the story behind it with her attitude and it was one of those moments caught perfectly & I just love it! I am sooo pleased with how its turned out and really got a huge thrill with scraping again but I need to be realistic and know this was a treat lol
