Docrafts & Gorjuss Girls

Just wanted to share my favourite make from my last Docrafts Demo at Howdens Garden Centre Inverness :D The ladies are always so lovely to demo for and seen as it was the last round with the latest Gorjuss Girls I thought I'd do something altered.

I used a little wooden blank with hinges on each side which allows the side panels to fold in, due to my flower positioning it can't but it comes in enough for it to stand in its own.

I applied a coat I've gesso all over then used the new spray micas from Docrafts, stamped the background using Gorjuss Fox Stamps, made the flowers using coffee filters the spray inks again and copics and then added a beautiful Gorjuss Decopague Girl from one of the card kits. 

I'm so chuffed how she turned out, she's going pride of place in my shop & there may even be a class in it <3

So this is my first card made for the challenge, our challenge was to create an item using Monoprinting with acrylic blocks 

This was an new thing for me so I was thrilled to give it a go and had a fab time planning, I'm not normally one for getting messy but this was fun x

I dipped into my Docrafts stash and all the bits you see are available there x

Gorjuss Girl Stamp

Just wanted to share this pic with you of a card order, a few of my customers don't want to but this range if stamps cause they see them as dark and gothic!!! I know this is a crazy simple concept but you don't have to....... honestly they look just as gorjuss in my mind so please don't be put off :D

I forgot how good it was to colour :D I spend a lot of time creating for the Docrafts Demos which don't involve me colouring much :( but when I made the card to enter the Squiggles Stamps Challenge I caught the bug again and colour another two girlies

I decided I still wasn't happy with this little lady so I glittered her hair and mounted her again on the funny green shade then onto an 8x8"scallop edge card and I'm happy now :D

Squiggle Stamp Challenge

I had an order for tomorrow and decided to try get my mojo back in tune after yesterdays disastrous card making session lol I haven't made a card with the Gorjuss Girls range for a long time and my customer requested a Gorjuss so Yeay!!

Here come the girls!!!! The long awaited arrival of the next Gorjuss Girls release are due the end if march and aren't they lush!!! I was going to say Gorjuss but we know that all ready :)









































Not only is there rubber but they are only going to go ahead and make a clear stamp range as well!!!! I know brilliant ain't it :D
