How I produce music with Ardour on Linux

I’ve been asked to write a piece on how I record and mix music using mainly open source software (the one exception being the linuxDSP plugins). This article is intended for publishing on Libre Music Production as well as my own website and is written for all those interested in setting up a Linux home studio and using Ardour to record and mix their music, with the help of numerous free and open source tools and plugins.
