Our Daily Bread Design Release Blog HOP!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Design Blog Hop!  If you arrived here from Debi’s Blog, you are in the right place! If not, you might want to start at the Our Daily Bread Design Blog where all the details are given and the chance to win some fabulous prizes.   If for any reason any links are broken or you get lost along the way, simply return there to find the link to the next stop.

I am so excited to be a guest  for this month's hop! I am showcasing one of the new tag sets and a background stamp.  The entire release can be seen and purchased at  Our Daily Bread Designs! Three fantastic Christmas Tag sets, a custom die cut to perfectly cut them out, and two stunning Christmas Background Stamps.

On with the details of my projects! The top card I decided to make with a bit of a vintage feel.  I also combined the new tag die cut with a couple of previously released ODBD stamp sets.  I layered three diecut tags for the focal image.  I sponged the edges with Ranger Vintage Photo and Brushed Cordoroy inks.  I stamped the Amazing Grace Hymn stamp set lightly by stamping off once using the brushed cordoroy ink.  I added the Rejoice scripture sentiment from the Christmas Verses stamp set.  I finished with a distressed crushed ribbon bow and vintage button.

We cannot have a Mistletoe Tag set without some kisses for sure!  I used a small clear decorative paint can, added my chocolate kisses, and finished with a fou fou bow and my layered frame tag.  It is so easy to do with the die cut guide that comes with each ODBD die cut.   The clear guide makes it easy to line up the wording underneath.

I decided to go CAS with my next card just to show off this gorgeous snowflake swirl background.  I want to remind you that ODBD has matching snowflake stamps and snowflake die cuts as well.  I stamped my snowflake background and added assorted sized clear gems for extra sparkle.  The sentiment is from Blessed Christmas stamp set.  The individual snowflake stamp is from Peace and Joy. I added a double curly que silver cording for my tag and layered over a black satin bow!

From here, your next stop is Marcelle's Blog!  As always, thanks so much for stopping by and for your wonderful comments! Enjoy the hop!

ODBD Release Day Blog Hop!!!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs December Release Blog Hop! And, what an amazing blog hop it is going to be, too!!! If you are here looking for my Flourishes Timeless Tuesday post, you can scroll down or click here!

ODBD is releasing two gorgeous sets called His Gift and Peace and Joy! If you came here from Debi's blog, you are in the right place! If you happened on my blog but did not start at the ODBD Blog, you really should go there and start from there! The reason is we are playing a game. Each designer has one secret word hidden within her post so you must hop to each, copy the word hidden in the designer's post with designer's name, and leave a comment. Then, you will return to the ODBD Blog and leave a comment that you have visited all the blogs and left a comment so you can receive a special email address to email Grace with your completed sentence!

Guess what? Once you have done that you are enter for a chance to win! For this Release Blog Hop, Kelley has generously offered to give TWO lucky winners their choice of one free set! Winners will be chosen by Random.org from the correct emails received by Dec.2, 8PM EST.

Since these two sets are all about Christmas and God's gifts, I thought it would be great to make gift tags using each of the sets! These were pretty fast and fun to make! The snowflakes are done using versamark and some red ep! I layered some petite circle and scallop nesties and used both of the snowflakes in the set. They are truly sparkly in real life. One of the sentiments from the set is stamped on the back. You can click on the pictures to see a larger image.

For the scripture tag, I stamped off of the script poinsettia image and stamped the scripture inside. I sponged with ranger inks to create more of a vintage look. I used one of the spellbinders nestabilities shapes to create my tag look. I also used a scrap piece of my SEI dp. Love that! This dp is beautiful and weighty enough to stand alone. This way the back is just as beautiful as the front of my tag!

Thanks so much for reading my post and checking out what I created for you this month. My secret word is WISH! Next, you need to hop over to Angie's blog and see what she has created for you! You may also want to know that starting in January the design team will be bringing you fun challenges monthly with even more ways to win!!! As always, thanks so much for stopping by! Have a Blessed Day!
