Thanks for Being So Kind: Viva La Verve Sketch!
Happy Friday! It is a new month and a new Viva La Verve Sketch Challenge. I have a card to share using February's Viva La Verve Sketch.
For my card, I started with some pattern papers that I have had in my stash for awhile. For the focal images, I used Verve's Poppy Birthday stamp set and Build a Poppy die set. I changed up the leaves a bit and used Verve's Dream Big stamp set and Dreamy Leaves die set. I used Verve's Kindness Matters stamp set for the perfect sentiment.
The decorative edge detailing is from Verve's Scalloped Trim Trio die set and I used the stitched rectangle from Verve's Falling Leaves die set. I finished my card with some clear sequins. I could not resist adding some glimmer pen accenting to the centers of my poppies.
I am playing along with The Card Concept
and
Tic Tac Toe Challenge. (Across the center:Free(pattern papers), die cut, and sequins.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Birthday: Viva La Verve Sketch Recap!
Happy Friday! I am popping in with another card for this month's Verve Viva La Verve Sketch.
This card is just screaming with primary colors and patterns. I needed a male birthday card so I think this works. I started out with some fun pattern papers from my stash. I used Verve Falling Leaves, Flourised Tag, and Starry Die die sets to create the balloons. For the main balloon I used Verve's Small Packages stamp set to stamp the sentiment.
Next, I die cut a few of the and Wavy Hearts stars to embellish a few of the balloons with star accents. I added some 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and frayed the edges for some added detailing. I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
I am playing along with Seize the Birthday and Tic Tac Toe Challenge.

God's Love, Wisdom, and Grace: Viva La Verve Sketch!
Happy Friday! It is a new year and a new month for Viva La Verve Sketch Challenges. I have a card to share using January's Viva La Verve Sketch.
For my card, I used some distressed 12X12 pattern papers that I have had in my stash for a long while. I combined Verves Be Blessed, More than Love, New Mercies, Better Together stamps for the background, heart, and sentiments on the focal image.
I used Verve dies in Wavy Hearts Die Set, Heart Quartet and the Falling Leaves. In keeping with the sketch, I layered a piece of pink and white twine that I frayed the ends of once I ties them to go along with the distressed feel of the background paper. I finished my card with some clear sequins. I am playing along with DiesRUsChallenge.

Thanksgiving Blessings!
Happy Sunday! I am popping in with a card to share. I am playing along with Fusion Card Challenge.
I decided to use the sketch and the inspiration piece for my card. I started with Verve's Autumn Leaves stamp set. I used the swirly image in this set to create a subtle background like the one in the inspiration photo. I stamped the image using versamark onto grout gray card stock.
Next, I die cut a white stitched frame using Falling Leaves die set. For my focal image, I used Autumn Blessings stamp set and Autumn Thanks die set. I die cut and copic colored the image. I die cut a few more wreaths and layerd three together for some added dimension.
I also die cut stamped, and copic colored a few of the extra sprigs included in the set to add an extra touch to the wreath at the bottom.
For the sentiment, I cut a strip of black card stock to work with the sketch. I stamped the sentiment from Autumn Blessings set in versamark and white embossed. To finish my card I added a few amber and brown gems from my stash as well as some wink of stella on the wreath leaves.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Verve's October Mini Release Spotlight Hop!
Welcome to Verve's October Mini Release Spotlight Hop! There's something new in the Verve shop today, and we're celebrating with a blog hop. Along the hop you'll see the Divas' first looks at the new Autumn Leaves stamp set and Falling Leaves die set.
Verve is hosting a little giveaway, so why not join in the fun and hop along with us? Just leave a little shout out in the comments at each stop and you'll be in the prize drawing for the new products. Check out the Verve Blog today for a little more about the new goodies and all the prize info and deadlines.
Thanks for joining along with us in the hop! If you got here from Christyne's blog you are in the right place on the hop!
Sit back and enjoy! I have three cards to share with you today!
For my first card, I experimented with distressed oxide inks for the first time. I only own three, but I figure I had to start somewhere! I blended candied apple and fossilized amber together for this card.
Next, I stamped the outline leaves from the new Autumn Leaves stamp set using regular Ranger distressed inks and some versamark. I love the way it turned out.
I die cut a piece of black card stock and stamped the sentiment using Verve's Stitched Pennant die set in versamark and heat set with a mixture of yellow and green embossing powders.
I finished my card with a few sequins from Harvest Gold sequin mix.
For my second card, I just had to copic color these adorable pumpkins included in the new Autumn Leaves stamp set. This set is full of so many fantastic images and sentiments for fall!
I die cut and colored the pumpkins using the new Autumn Leaves stamp set and Falling Leaves die set. I love this wonderful stitched rectangle frame. A staple for any craft collection. I added the sentiment and white embossed.

I used foam tape to add my nested pumpkins at varying heights for added interest. I finished with a few gold halfback pearls. This is where I tell you I was not finished and actually added a lot of wink of stella to my pumpkins. I mean these gourds shine!

For my third card, I am rockin' it old school! I broke out a few "vintage" embossing folders! These folders are almost 10 years old! WOW! Time flies! I also used some rustic cream card stock I found in my stash. I have not used that in forever, either.
I stamped and die cut the leaves using the new Autumn Leaves stamp set and Falling Leaves die set. I used foam blending circles to sponge diffferent colors onto the solid image before I stamped. I love the soft subtle blend.
I stamped the sentiment and clustered three leaves in the corner. My focal panel is die cut using Cupcake Frames die set.
I rocked and rolled stamped the verticle strip using the smallest outlined leaf. Again, I finished my card with a few sequins from Harvest Gold sequin mix.
Hey, did you know the Viva La Verve Sketch is back in action? I used this sketch today on my "Thankful for You" card above. Check it out because you can win a chance at a Verve prize if you play along there, too!
Thanks for sticking around til the end of my post! You are not done yet, though. There are prizes at stake! Next on the hop is the wonderfully talented Teresa!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Iced Coffee!
The LEAD of this challenge will be invited to be a guest designer in an upcoming challenge!
For my card I started with some watercolor paper and my Kuretake Gonsai Tambi Watercolors. To follow along with this week's CASE this Sketch Challenge, I water colored stripes of black, bronze, and gold on the diagonal. I waited for the colors to dry, then die cut the word "coffee" from the lines using Verve's Coffee Word die along with a plain white word using watercolor paper.
Next, I added the stripes section to a cardfront. I stacked the two words and inlaid them. I stamped the word "perk" from Verve's Better With You stamp set.
I then die cut and stamped three cups using Verve's Happiness in a Cup die set and Fill My Cup stamp set. I watercolored using Ranger Distress inks in pumice stone, candied apple, and brick red. I layered on the card using some foam tape for added dimension. I finished my card with some watercolored splatters and three black gems.
Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs
for more inspiration!
